Eagles’ CB Darius Slay lands at No. 77 on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players list

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay lands at No. 77 on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players list for 2022.

Darius Slay has the respect of his peers around the league, so it should be no surprise that the guy known as ‘Big Play’ landed at No. 77 on the NFL Network’s ‘Top 100 players‘ list for 2022, his fourth appearance on the list.

Playing more zone coverage under first-year defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, Slay logged three touchdowns and three interceptions.

Slay’s 86.2 coverage grade as an outside cornerback led the NFL, and he ranked 11th in both yards allowed per outside-coverage snap (0.79) and percentage of outside targets to result in a first down or touchdown (29.4%) per PFF.

NFL Network set to unveil ‘The Top 100 Players of 2022’

For the 12th consecutive year, current NFL players have voted to determine the Top 100 players in the NFL

With NFL training camps opening all across the league, the NFL Network is teasing their ‘Top 100 Players of 2022’ list, with dates and times for fans to start preparing for this preseason.

Per the NFL communications, current NFL players have voted to determine the Top 100 players in the NFL for the 12th consecutive year.

Premiering on Sunday, August 14, the Top 100 Players of 2022 will air during three consecutive weekends in August immediately following live preseason games on NFL Network.

Beginning Sunday, August 14 with No. 100-51 revealed over the course of five hours starting at 8:00 PM ET. The countdown continues on Sunday, August 21 with No. 50-31 revealed over the course of two hours starting at 4:30 PM ET, and No. 30-21 revealed in one hour starting at 11:00 PM ET. The series concludes on Sunday, August 28 with a three-hour finale revealing the top 20 players starting at 8:00 PM ET.

Eagles Pro Bowl center Jason Kelce lands at No. 92 on the NFL Network’s Top 100 Players list

The Eagles now have two players on the top-100 players of 2021 list after Pro Bowl center Jason Kelce landed at No. 92.

Kelce is entering his 11th NFL season and he is coming off a Pro Bowl performance in 2020 – his fourth; he’s been named an All-Pro three times – and he has started every game for the last six seasons.

The countdown continues on Sunday, August 22 at 4:00 PM ET with No. 40-11 revealed over the course of three hours, and concludes with a two-hour finale on Saturday, August 28 at 4:00 PM ET revealing the top 10 players. At 6:00 PM ET, The Top 100 Players of 2021 Reaction Show airs, recapping this year’s edition of the series.

Zach Ertz is No. 85 on the NFL’s Top 100 Players list for 2020

The Philadelphia Eagles are down to one player on the NFL Network’s Top 100 players for 2020 list after Zach Ertz landed at No. 85 on the list.

Ertz was No. 40 on the list in 2019 and although he slipped some in the rankings, he’s no doubt a top-100 player after a season in which he amassed 88 catches for almost 1,000 yards and six touchdowns.

Ertz joins Brandon Brooks, Jason Kelce, and Darius Slay on the list.

Brandon Brooks is No. 98 on the NFL Network’s Top-100 Players List

The accolades continue to roll in for Brandon Brooks and the Eagles all-world right guard just received the highest honor, making his debut on the NFL Network’s Top 100 players for 2020 list.

Brooks will miss the 2020 NFL season with a torn Achilles, but that didn’t stop his peers from showing him the ultimate respect.

Brooks was the highest-graded guard in football in 2019, the second-ranked guard on the PFF top 50 list, and the fifth-ranked player on PFF’s 2019 101 lists.

Over the last three seasons, Brooks has started all 48 regular-season games, while playing in 95% of the Eagles offensive snaps and making the. Pro Bowl in each season.
