Ravens currently have 5 players who are leading vote-getters for 2025 Pro Bowl games

The Ravens have five players who are the leading vote-getters at their position in the AFC: QB: Lamar Jackson, RB: Derrick Henry
ILB: Roquan Smith, CB: Marlon Humphrey, SS: Kyle Hamilton

The Ravens (8-5) are one of the most exciting teams in the NFL. That popularity can be seen in the Pro Bowl voting. After one week of voting, star quarterback Lamar Jackson leads all players in balloting for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. He has received 44,681 votes. Ravens running back Derrick Henry is 2nd among all players with 40,729 votes.

Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley (40,602), Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen (36,574), and Detroit running back Jahmyr Gibbs (35,637) round out the top five.

The Detroit Lions lead all clubs in total votes received, followed by the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Fans can vote as often as they would like to help determine the 88-man roster and send the league’s best players at each position to Orlando for the Pro Bowl Games until Monday, Dec. 23, across a variety of platforms, including:

  • ProBowl.com/Vote

  • On club sites (i.e., https://www.baltimoreravens.com/pro-bowl-games/vote)
  • Social voting — During the final two weeks of voting (Dec. 9 – Dec. 23), fans can vote directly on “X” (formerly Twitter) by tweeting the first and last name of the player, tagging the player’s official Twitter handle or creating a hashtag including the player’s first and last name. All three of these methods must include the hashtag: #ProBowlVote. Social votes will count as double during the final two days (Dec. 22 – Dec. 23).

Player selections will be determined by the consensus votes of fans, players, and coaches, with each group’s vote counting as one-third toward determining the all-star players who will be selected for this year’s Pro Bowl Games. The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches, and players to determine its Pro Bowl teams. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Friday, Dec. 27.

If the season ended today, Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels would be the starter over Jalen Hurts (Eagles) and Jared Goff (Lions), among others in the NFC.

Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson broke up a pass from Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud to Los Angeles Chargers receiver Keenan Allen, creating a turnover on downs with four seconds remaining.

Stroud led all quarterbacks with 173 yards on 18-of-22 passing, while Seattle Seahawks’ Geno Smith led the NFC in passing with 154 yards on 15-of-21 passing.

Allen was among the standouts, with 90 receiving yards on nine catches, including three touchdowns receiving and one passing.

Eagles report card: Grading every offensive position from the 2023 season

We’re looking at the final grades and report cards for the Philadelphia Eagles offensive position groups in 2023

After being officially eliminated in the wild-card round, the Philadelphia Eagles are preparing for 2024, and they’ll enter the offseason with a retooled coaching staff after replacing Brian Johnson (OC) and Sean Desao (DC) with Kellen Moore (OC) and Vic Fangio (DC).

While there are 20 pending free agents, Philadelphia will enter the 2024 offseason with front-office continuity, draft assets, and a clear plan for improving around Jalen Hurts.

With the new league year fast approaching, we’re looking at the final report card and offensive grades for 2023.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts to compete in Precision Passing competition at Pro Bowl Skills Challenge

Darius Slay and Jalen Hurts are among 8 Philadelphia Eagles set to participate in the Pro Bowl Skills showdown on Thursday night and the Flag Football game on Sunday

The Eagles lost six of their final seven games down the stretch, but they’ll be properly represented on the NFC Pro Bowl roster.

D’Andre Swift earned his first 1,000-yard season in 2023, and his first Pro Bowl nod as well, becoming one of six Birds to initially earn a nomination.

wide receiver A.J. Brown (starter, 3rd selection), guard Landon Dickerson (reserve, 2nd selection), tackle Lane Johnson (starter, 5th selection), center Jason Kelce (starter, 7th selection), linebacker Haason Reddick (reserve, 2nd selection), and running back Swift (reserve, 1st selection).

Philadelphia had 9 Pro Bowl alternates: kicker Jake Elliott (1st alternate), quarterback Jalen Hurts (1st), cornerback Darius Slay (1st), return specialist Britain Covey (2nd), defensive end Josh Sweat (2nd), tackle Jordan Mailata (3rd), defensive tackle Jalen Carter (4th), tight end Dallas Goedert (4th), and guard Cam Jurgens (5th).

Hurts and Slay are among the 8 Eagles who’ll be participating in Pro Bowl skills challenges.

Eagles have two players named to Pro Bowl as replacements

The Philadelphia Eagles had Jalen Hurts and Darius Slay named to the Pro Bowl as replacements for Brock Purdy and Charvarius Ward

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and cornerback Darius Slay have been named to the NFC team for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Fla. on Sunday.

As first alternates, Hurts will be replacing Brock Purdy, and Slay will be replacing Charvarius Ward as the 49ers will face the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII.

The Pro Bowl Games replaced the traditional Pro Bowl, featuring a multi-day competition of skill games and flag football. The Pro Bowl Skills Show will be on Thursday, February 1 and the Pro Bowl Games on Sunday, February 4.

BREAKING: Bucs WR Mike Evans makes 2024 Pro Bowl Games

Evans was the only Bucs player nominated to the Pro Bowl.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are sending one of their players to the Pro Bowl, and it’s someone who’s no stranger to it.

Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans is set to be a starter for the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando for 2024. The nod is Evans’ fifth of his career and his first since 2021.

Evans currently leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns with 13, one more than Tyreek Hill’s 12. Evans also has his 10th-consecutive 1,000-yard season in 2023, the longest streak from the start of a player’s career. As it stands, Evans has currently amassed those 12 touchdowns on 1,233 yards from 76 receptions.

Evans was the only Bucs Pro Bowler named. First alternates include Antoine Winfield Jr. (who shockingly did not make it) and tackle Tristan Wirfs.

12 49ers left off Pro Bowl roster named as alternates

On top of their *9* Pro Bowlers, the 49ers also have 12 (!!!) alternates:

The 49ers on Wednesday had a whopping nine players named to the NFC’s Pro Bowl roster after having 15 players receive the most fan votes at their position.

While the fan vote wasn’t enough to get all 15 of those players to Orlando for the Pro Bowl Games, it did help 12 (!!) 49ers get listed as alternates for the NFL’s version of an All-Star game.

It’s not a huge surprise San Francisco was so popular. It’s been one of the best teams in the sport all season and its roster is loaded.

Ideally the 49ers won’t have any players in Orlando because they’re busy preparing for the Super Bowl, but if they wind up missing the NFL’s biggest stage, here are the players they could also earn Pro Bowl honors as replacements:

Eagles players react to DT Javon Hargrave being a Pro Bowl snub with 10 QB sacks

The Philadelphia Eagles took to social media to offer their reaction to Javon Hargrave being a Pro Bowl snub despite his 10 sacks which puts him tied for 9th in the NFL or 12th overall

Javon Hargrave has started 14 games this season for the 13-1 Philadelphia Eagles, logging 49 total tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 14 quarterback hits, and most importantly, 10 quarterback sacks.

The 10 sacks by the monster defensive tackle put Hargrave at No. 12 in the entire NFL in sacks and make him among four Eagles in the top 20, yet he was a Pro Bowl snub on Wednesday.

Even more shocking, Hargrave led all NFC defensive tackles in fan votes.

On the NFC side at defensive tackles were Johnathan Allen (Commanders), Aaron Donald (Rams), and Dexter Lawerence (Giants).

The Eagles stick together and his teammates were vocal about the snub.

No Chicago Bears players made the 2023 Pro Bowl roster

There won’t be any Bears at this year’s Pro Bowl, but a couple of former players earned a spot on the roster.

The 2023 Pro Bowl rosters were announced on Wednesday evening and for the first time since 2018, no Chicago Bears players made the cut, including quarterback Justin Fields.

The second-year signal caller hasn’t popped off the stat sheet with his passing totals, but has been an elite runner this year which gave fans hope he could make a case for a spot. Fields has 2,048 passing yards with 15 touchdowns to 10 picks, but has rushed for 1,000 yards on the dot with eight touchdowns in 13 games. He is eyeing the NFL record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season, set in 2019 by Lamar Jackson.

The quarterbacks who made it over Fields were Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, Kirk Cousins of the Minnesota Vikings, and Geno Smith of the Seattle Seahawks.

The news of any Bears players not making the team isn’t totally surprising, but a couple of former Bears did earn Pro Bowl honors. Linebacker Roquan Smith, who spent half the year in Chicago before getting traded, made the squad for the first time in his career as a member of the Baltimore Ravens. Smith has 130 total tackles, nine for a loss, 4.5 sacks, and a career-high three interceptions.

Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher Khalil Mack, who was traded in the offseason, also made the squad for the seventh time in his career. Mack has 45 total tackles, 10 for a loss, seven sacks, and two forced fumbles.

The Pro Bowl rosters were voted on by fans, players, and coaches. For the first time ever, a live football game will not be played. Instead, a flag football game will take its place, along with various skills competitions. The Pro Bowl events will take place Sunday, February 5th in Las Vegas.
