[autotag]Nate Frazier[/autotag], a four-star running back from Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California, tells Greg Biggins of 247Sports that he plans to announce his college destination on Sunday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. CT.

Frazier included Auburn in his top eight list released on July 11. Included in the mix are Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, Nebraska, Tennessee and Miami.

How much of a chance does Auburn have at landing his commitment? In a recent interview with Biggins, Frazier says that Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M and Oregon are the programs that have the best shot.

According to experts at 247Sports, Georgia is the front-runner. The Bulldogs have received three crystal ball predictions for Frazier since July 20. Frazier is set to take an official visit to Georgia during the weekend of Sept. 15.

“It works out perfectly because we have a bye that weekend and Georgia is hosting South Carolina,” Frazier tells 247Sports. “I can’t wait. I’ve been up to Georgia a lot, but never for a game. I know the atmosphere is going to be crazy, so I’m really looking forward to it.”

2024 4-star RB Nate Frazier has announced his upcoming commitment date

2024 4-star running back Nate Frazier will choose between Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, and Texas A&M early next month.

Amid all the organized chaos in College Station this weekend during Texas A&M’s annual recruiting pool party, news regarding one of the top remaining uncommitted skill position players in the 2024 cycle has added to the excitement, as four-star running back Nathaniel “Nate” Frazier will announce his commitment on Sunday, Aug. 6.

Frazier, who is entering his final senior season at the prestigious Mater Dei football program, is currently positioned as the 51st-ranked player in the 2024 cycle, the 4th-ranked running back, and the 4th-ranked player in California, according to 247Sports Composite, as he will choose between Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, and Texas A&M next weekend.

During his 2022 junior season at Mater Dei (CA), Frazier ran for 693 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games, with two 100-yard outings and a solid 11.4-yard per rush average. After taking an unofficial visit to College Station on June 13, things have begun to heat up between both sides. However, the Georgia Bulldogs, “Running Back U,” remains in the lead for now, but the race may be getting tighter this weekend.

With vision, footwork, and incredible speed and agility in the open field, Frazier is as talented as they come in the backfield, and after acquiring 2023 five-star running back Reuben Owens, who’s already competing for the starting job this coming season, is undoubtedly an enticing pitch for Frazier from now on.

Nate Frazier will announce his commitment Live on On3’s YouTube Channel On Aug. 6 at 3:00 p.m. ET.

So, where will he go?

[autotag]Nate Frazier[/autotag], a four-star prospect, included the Tigers in his top eight schools. They are battling Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Oregon, Nebraska, Miami and Tennessee for the Santa Anna, California, product.

While the Tigers made the cut, they have some work ahead of them to land the 5-foot-11, 208-pounder, as he has yet to visit the Plains. He has already officially visited Oregon and Alabama and taken several trips to Georgia.

He is the No. 51 overall player and No. 4 running back in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also the No. 4 player from California.
