SAY DRAKE.
Kendrick Lamar’s recent rap feud with Drake reached its zenith on Sunday night during the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.
Drake has endured months and months of Lamar’s smash-hit, Grammy-winning anthem “Not Like Us” playing all over the place, and Lamar seemed very pleased to call out the Canadian rapper during his electric Super Bowl halftime show performance.
In fact, Lamar looked right at the camera as he mentioned Drake’s name in the “Not Like Us” performance with a big smile on his face for all of the world to see. You want to talk about a victory lap? This is that.

This is another tally in the win column for Kendrick Lamar.
Kendrick Lamar absolutely rocked the crowd in New Orleans with his electric performance during halftime of Super Bowl LIX. But the bombastic rapper’s show wasn’t a total solo act. He had some help from a few special guests.
Actor Samuel L. Jackson was the first guest to appear, dressed a bit like the classic and patriotic Uncle Sam and performing as a narrator of sorts for the show, warning Kendrick to not go overboard and give the audience what they want.
Next to show up was SZA, who performed two songs alongside Kendrick, including the Oscar-nominated “All The Stars” from 2018’s Black Panther.
And then, perhaps most unexpectedly – while Kendrick performed his Grammy-winning “Not Like Us” – the camera panned to tennis legend Serena Williams, who was dancing along to the track in the middle of the field. Her appearance was no coincidence or accident. It’s worth noting that Kendrick and Serena both hail from Compton, California.
After the show, Williams said, “I did not crip-walk like that at Wimbledon. I would’ve been fined!”

The last guest appearance was by DJ Mustard, who emerged when Kendrick began performing “TV Off,” which the DJ produced.
Let’s consider for a moment that not only did Kendrick Lamar parlay his hatred for Drake into a diss track that became a Grammy-winning summer anthem, but also into a Super Bowl performance that got the greatest tennis player of all-time dancing to it on national television. Drake is never recovering from this, y’all.

Friends and family joined the pop star on Sunday night in New Orleans.
Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, and pop star Taylor Swift was in attendance to support boyfriend Travis Kelce. The 14-time Grammy winner was once again in a suite to take in the action, and she was surrounded with friends and family.
Rapper Ice Spice, who joined Swift for last year’s Super Bowl, was back again, as was Swift’s close friend Ashley Avignone. Kelce’s brother Jason, sister-in-law Kylie and mom Donna could all be seen in the suite, as could Swift’s father, Scott, and brother Austin. Ed Kelce was there too.
All three Haim sisters — Alana, Danielle and Este — were also in the box with Swift.

The chain with a “T” charm has made another appearance!
Last Sunday, singer Taylor Swift was in Los Angeles at the Grammy Awards. She wore a stunning red mini designed by Vivienne Westwood, pairing it with red stilettos, red bejeweled earrings and a red lip. Around her thigh, Swift added a gold chain with red stones and a “T” charm, designed by Lorraine Schwartz.
This Sunday, the piece of jewelry reappeared, this time at the Super Bowl as a necklace for the 14-time Grammy winner. Swift wore an oversized cream blazer with a white tank, denim shorts and tall boots. Around her neck, the The Tortured Poets Department singer added the “T” chain, a clear sign of support for boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The Grammy-award-winning Ledisi brought the house down in New Orleans.
Often referred to as the Black national anthem, a pregame performance of the hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing” has become a tradition at the Super Bowl.
A pre-recorded video of Alicia Keys’ rendition of the song played before the 2021 game, and in the past three years it has been performed live before kickoff by the likes of Mary Mary, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and most recently Andra Day in 2024.
Before Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans on Sunday, the Grammy-award winning artist Ledisi performed the song written by James Weldon Johnson in 1900.
Ledisi, 52, won a Grammy in 2021 for Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Anything For You.” She’s also a New Orleans native.

Swift arrived in style for her second straight Super Bowl rooting for Travis Kelce.
It’s Super Bowl Sunday, the biggest day of the year for the NFL.
With Travis Kelce and the Chiefs going for the first-ever championship three-peat, mega pop star Taylor Swift was in attendance in New Orleans. Kelce and the 14-time Grammy winner have been dating since summer of 2023, and this is the second straight Super Bowl for Swift.
Swift arrived at the Caesars Superdome in an oversized cream blazer, worn over a white tank top, jean shorts and tall cream boots. The The Tortured Poets Department singer went with a more neutral lip and loose curls to complete the look. She seemed relaxed arriving at the stadium, greeting people in the hallways as she walked to her suite.

Several Kansas City #Chiefs players weighed in about their favorite songs by SZA and Kendrick Lamar ahead of the Super Bowl LIX halftime show
The Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles in an epic showdown in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9.
While many NFL fans are looking forward to the Chiefs’ matchup against Philadelphia, many casual observers around the country are excited about the highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime show, which will feature Grammy-winning R&B singer-songwriter SZA and acclaimed rapper Kendrick Lamar.
This week, Kansas City’s players weighed in on their favorite songs by SZA and Kendrick Lamar in a video that was posted to Twitter by the Chiefs’ official account.

While the Chiefs and Eagles won’t get the chance to watch the halftime show, SZA and Kendrick Lamar are clearly idols for many of Kansas City’s players.
Stay tuned to see if the Chiefs can complete the NFL’s first-ever Super Bowl three-peat when Kansas City takes the field against the Eagles on Sunday.
The Cowboy Carter star was truly stunned.
You never know what to expect when it’s a major awards ceremony. Beyoncé took home her first Grammy Award of the night on Sunday for Best Country Album. To say she was surprised would be a massive understatement, even though she was nominated for a Grammy-high 11 awards. When Taylor Swift announced Cowboy Carter as the winner, the incredibly talented singer looked utterly stunned.
Beyoncé, who had arrived at the awards ceremony just before the category was announced, sat still in her seat, looking around as the crowd cheered loudly. Eventually, she’d make it to the stage to accept her award, but it was clear she wasn’t expecting the win.
Naturally, it immediately became the newest meme.

Everyone is getting in on the trade jokes.
The 67th Grammy Awards did not pass up on an opportunity to make a joke at the expense of the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night. Fans everywhere were stunned Saturday night into Sunday morning to find out that the Mavs traded Luka Doncic to the Lakers. The groundbreaking move was the talk of the sports world, and now it’s officially moved over to pop culture.
Returning from a commercial break, comedian Jim Gaffigan was hosting instead of Trevor Noah. “During the break, I don’t know how to say this,” Gaffigan said. “Trevor Noah was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.”
The joke got a lot of laughs, and Noah did end up returning to the stage thankfully!
