The Lil Yachty walkout meme using AI that’s taking over the sports world, explained

The Lil Yachty walkout meme video is EVERYWHERE.

You may have seen the meme that’s going around showing someone — whether it’s the Joker or New York Knick head coach Tom Thibodeau and so on — coming out from backstage to a giant crowd of concert goers before igniting them with a fiery performance.

Wondering where it’s from? I did, and I figured it out!

It’s a video of Lil Yachty walking out on to a long stage and going OFF, and it’s amazing to watch the crowd react.

People are now using AI to put those aforementioned stars in the video, and it’s become a whole meme.

Here’s the original:

And the memes:

Jim Harbaugh’s goofy victory dance after Ravens playoff win inspired some incredible memes

Look at Jim Harbaugh go!

The Baltimore Ravens’ 34-10 thumping of the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round on Saturday got Ravens coach Jim Harbaugh very amped.

He was so excited about the huge playoff victory that he busted a move in the Baltimore locker room after the victory, breaking out the kind of celebratory dancing usually reserved for wedding dance floors or the climax of high school movies.

Harbaugh absolutely cut loose and broke out his best dance moves to the delight of his fellow Ravens. We’re not going to try and rank postseason coach dances, but this one has to be up there, right?

Just look at Harbaugh go! He’s so happy!

This kind of victory dance is exactly what the NFL playoffs are for, and fans absolutely got a kick out of Harbaugh’s fancy feet. In fact, they turned his locker room dance into a fantastic meme.

You’ll want to cut a rug and dance yourself once you get done laughing at all of these hilarious memes.

The Pop-Tarts Bowl mascot menacingly creeping behind a referee became an instant meme

WATCH OUT FOR THE POP-TART!

Thursday’s Pop-Tarts Bowl turned into one of the most enjoyable nights on the sports calendar this year, thanks in large part to that wily Pop-Tart mascot.

There were just too many fun shenanigans that Pop-Tart mascot got into to mention them all there, from his hilarious entrance to his even funnier exit.

While the Pop-Tart Mascot had a great sense of humor about being turned into an edible mascot for the Kansas State Wildcats, he didn’t leave this world without giving us a fantastic meme.

The image in question featured the Pop-Tart mascot creeping up behind a smiling referee during the game. Check it out below.

I mean, c’mon, that is a fantastic meme.

The internet did its thing after this image began going around social media and brought forth some delightful memes featuring the absolute star of college bowl game season.

You’re going to love these gags, trust us.

The internet mashed up Moneyball and The Lord of the Rings and made some hysterical memes

They’re taking the shortstops to Isengard!

The internet is always good for a meme, and the latest social media sensation involves a mashup between The Lord of the Rings and Moneyball.

The gag involves mirroring half-elven Lord of Rivendell Elrond and former Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane putting together their “teams,” respectively.

While Elrond was tasked with assembling the Fellowship of the Ring to lead the fight for Middle Earth, Beane’s forward-thinking roster building methods turned the A’s into a contender on a dime.

It’s fair to argue that Elrond had a bit more on his plate than Beane did, but how can you not be romantic about sending four hobbits to destroy The One Ring To Rule Them All in the fires of Mount Doom?

This is the meme that keeps on giving, and we’ve assembled some of our favorite LOTR/Moneyball jokes from this unexpected collaboration that easily wins the week in memes.

The 11 best memes of 2023, from Kevin James to Taylor Swift’s F-bomb

The most memorable memes of 2023.

We’re about to say goodbye to 2023, and whew, a lot happened this year and a lot is about to happen in 2024, so buckle up.

But before we say goodbye to this year and look ahead to 2024, we’ve got to take one more look back at the memes we all created and shared and then shared some more.

We’ve included a bunch of sports memes, but as you’d expect, there are some from TV and movies (and you know which movies got the most memeing on social media, thank you Barbenheimer!).

So here they are, the best memes of 2023 in no particular order:

The Tiger Woods ‘big dog’ meme has officially gone viral — here are favorites

We’ve seen some excellent Tiger Woods memes over the years, but this one might be one of our favorites.

We’ve seen some excellent Tiger Woods memes over the years, but this one might be one of our favorites (and yes, it’s probably recency bias but whatever).

During the 2023 PNC Championship, in which he played with his son Charlie and had his daughter Sam caddie, PGA Tour video showed Tiger greeting another caddie with a high-five handshake combo and two words: “Big dog.”

He followed it with “Let’s go to work,” but the screenshot of that moment is now everywhere on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.

So let’s take a look at the funniest versions of it that we’ve seen:

The Madame Web ‘he was in the Amazon with my mom’ line has become a hilarious meme

“He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.”

Madame Web — the latest Marvel movie all about a character in the Spider-Man universe played by Dakota Johnson — had its trailer drop this week, and it only took about a day for a meme to sprout from it.

Specifically, it’s one line, while Johnson checks out a photo: “He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders right before she died.”

Why is it a meme? Maybe because it’s a bit of a world salad, or maybe it’s because it’s a little over the top.

But either way, it’s everywhere on social media. Here’s a roundup:

A cringey LIV Golf flash mob inspired some hysterical memes

That bizarre LIV Golf flash mob inspired some hilarious memes.

As the ever-controversial LIV Golf League returned to London for a ninth event this season, the latest tournament brought with it one of the strangest introductions to a golf function you’re ever going to see.

A flash mob appeared on the green to perform a choreographed dance number to LMFAO’s 2009 club song “Party Rock Anthem.”

It was a cringey as you could imagine, and the memes instantly sprouted up from the internet in reaction to this absolutely bizarre golf flash mob extravaganza.

You’ll have to see how this thing goes. It’s very hard to do it justice with an explanation.

Darvin Ham is officially the NBA season’s first meme after trying to send the Lakers a simple message on his clipboard

Darvin Him is out here doing his best and everyone is just making jokes. It’s great.

Look, man. It’s bad for the Lakers right now. Pretty bad. But not all bad.

They’re 0-2 after a loss to the Clippers on Thursday night. On top of that, their defense is up and down and nobody can seem to shoot. . Russell Westbrook is also blaming his injuries on a potential bench role.

But they’ve got a good coach in Darvin Ham who their players seem to be playing hard for. And Ham is genuinely trying his hardest to fix what has turned out to be the saddest story in the NBA so far.

And, obviously, we’ve got a long way to go. But Ham is clearly trying his hardest. He put that clipboard to good use on Thursday night.

He had to remind his team to play defense without fouling. Obviously, a core principle of good basketball. Ham was on it.

Unfortunately for him (but perfect for us), this stellar effort from the coach just turned him into this season’s first NBA meme. Everybody is photoshopping just about everything on that clipboard now.

Gotta love the internet, man.
