Alabama’s 2023 spring football award winners!

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa, [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama football team completed the spring football activities with the annual A-Day game inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

In an intense battle, the Crimson team outlasted the White team with a 30-21 victory to earn the famous steak dinner.

We now have all offseason to debate which quarterback should take the reigns of the Alabama offense this fall when the Crimson Tide take on Middle Tennesse State on Sept. 2.

Following the conclusion of A-Day, the players and coaches gathered at midfield to present and receive the spring football awards.

Let’s take a look at all of the award winners!

Roll Tide Wire breaks down which 10 Alabama football players have the most to prove in Alabama’s A-Day game on Saturday.

Alabama finished last season with an 11-2 record and a Sugar Bowl victory over Kansas State. This may sound like a successful season, but not for the Crimson Tide program.

The expectation for the Tide each season is that they reach the conference championship as well as the College Football Playoff. Anything less is a disappointment among the Alabama faithful.

With several key players from a season ago headed to the NFL, there will be some new faces at key positions.

[autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and the Alabama football team will hold its first scrimmage of the spring on Friday afternoon before having the weekend off for Easter.

Coach Saban and the Tide generally don’t allow much information to be released from the closed scrimmages but there are always some little hints sprinkled throughout Coach Saban’s comments afterward.

With the scrimmage just a few hours away, Roll Tide Wire thought it would be a good idea to look at five players from each side of the ball that need to step up and perform well in the first game-like situation of the spring.

Here are five players from the defense:

Even with the Eagles set to play in the NFC Championship game this week’s 2023 NFL mock drafts have Philadelphia reloading with impact defenders

The Eagles are preparing for the NFC Championship Game on Sunday afternoon, but it’s never too early for a look ahead to the 2023 NFL Draft.

The player selection process will be centered around Philadelphia having multiple picks in round one.

Thanks to some draft night wizardry from Howie Roseman, the Eagles traded the No. 16 overall pick, No. 19 overall pick, and a 2022 sixth-round pick to the New Orleans Saints for the No. 18 overall pick, a 2022 third-round pick, a 2022 seventh-round pick, a 2023 first-round pick, and a 2024 second-round pick.

We tracked the Eagles’ picks via Tankathon, and after New Orleans went 7-10, Philadelphia locked down a top-ten selection.

A total of eight Alabama players land inside the top 100 of Tankathon’s 2023 NFL draft big board.

Now that Alabama’s football season has concluded, it is time to shift our focus to one of my favorite events each year, the NFL draft.

Despite not winning a championship, talent was not lacking on the Crimson Tide roster. Tankathon recently updated its 2023 NFL draft big board, and eight Alabama players landed inside the top 100.

The usual suspects of [autotag]Bryce Young[/autotag], [autotag]Will Anderson Jr.[/autotag] and [autotag]Brian Branch[/autotag] make an appearance, but you may find a couple of surprises rounding out the list.

Here is a complete list of all the Tide players included and where they rank according to Tankathon:

REPORT: Malachi Moore intends to return for senior season at Alabama

Malachi Moore makes a decision on his future with the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Shortly after Alabama took care of Kansas State in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, one of the Crimson Tide’s defensive backs announced his plans.

Malachi Moore, a rotation player in the Alabama defensive backfield, told reporters he plans to return to Alabama for his senior season.

If you remember, Moore was a standout defender during his true freshman season in 2020 when he collected 44 tackles and three interceptions.

Injuries plagued Moore during his sophomore campaign which allowed Brian Branch to emerge at the star position for the Alabama defense.

Moore returning for the 2023 season gives Alabama a massive boost in the backend that is set to lose Jordan Battle, DeMarcco Hellams and, most likely, Branch.
