First look: Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 9 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

Two of the most disappointing teams in the NFC will square off on Sunday afternoon when the Los Angeles Rams (3-4) visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5). Kickoff will be at 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX) from Raymond James Stadium. Below, we look at Rams vs. Buccaneers odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our NFL picks and predictions.

The Rams came back from their Week 7 bye and were blown out by the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, 31-14. It dropped their record below .500 for the 2nd time in Sean McVay’s career, sinking the Rams to 3rd place in the NFC West. It has been a difficult season for Los Angeles, fielding one of the worst offenses in the league. Complicating matters worse, star WR Cooper Kupp left the Week 8 game with an ankle injury.

The Buccaneers have been equally underwhelming, losing 3 straight games coming into this home contest against the Rams. They’re also third in their division and have the worst rushing offense in the NFL, averaging just 62 yards per game on the ground. In their last game, the Buccaneers lost to the Ravens, 27-22.

First look: San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams Week 8 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

It’s only Week 8, but the Los Angeles Rams (3-3) and San Francisco 49ers (3-4) will square off for the 2nd time this season Sunday. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium will be at 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at 49ers vs. Rams odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our NFL picks and predictions.

The 49ers have lost 2 games in a row, falling at the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6 and at home to the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday. The Chiefs made the win look easy, too, winning 44-23 thanks to 30 second-half points. The 49ers acquired RB Christian McCaffrey last week and he played Sunday in a somewhat of a limited role — 8 carries for 38 yards and 2 receptions for 24 yards. Expect him to get more touches against the Rams.

Los Angeles is coming off a bye for this division matchup at home. In the Rams’ last game, they beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in L.A. to snap a 2-game losing streak. The Rams lost their first meeting with the 49ers 24-9 back in Week 4 in Santa Clara. Los Angeles ranks 28th in points per game (17.3) this season.

The Rams’ only win against the 49ers in their last 8 attempts was in the NFC title game in January behind a 20-17 victory at home. The 49ers are a perfect 6-0 ATS in the last 6 meetings of this series, with the total going Under in 5 of those 6 games.

First look: Carolina Panthers at Los Angeles Rams odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Carolina Panthers at Los Angeles Rams Week 6 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Carolina Panthers (1-4) and Los Angeles Rams (2-3) square off Sunday. Kickoff from SoFi Stadium will be at 4:05 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we look at Panthers vs. Rams odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our NFL picks and predictions.

The Panthers were demolished 37-15 at home by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5 and now sit last in the NFC South. QB Baker Mayfield has statistically been one of the worst passers in the NFL this season, only topping 200 yards twice and throwing 4 touchdowns with 4 interceptions. Carolina fired coach Matt Rhule Monday; he will be replaced on an interim basis by Steve Wilks.

The Rams were embarrassed for the second week in a row in Week 5 as they fell 22-10 at home to the Dallas Cowboys. Los Angeles has scored just 1 touchdown in the last 2 weeks, struggling to get anything going offensively. The defense held Dallas to just 1 offensive touchdown, but it still wasn’t enough to earn the win.

Rams vs. Cardinals head-to-head

The Rams and Cardinals square off twice a year as divisional rivals, and in some cases, they meet 3 times like last season when both made the playoffs and met in the wild-card round.

The Rams have owned this rivalry since coach Sean McVay took over in 2017. They’ve gone 10-1 in 11 meetings — including last year’s playoff meeting. The Cardinals have covered the spread in just 1 of their last 10 meetings as the Rams have scored at least 30 points 8 times along that stretch. The Over/Under has been an even 5-5 split in those 10 matchups.

Bills at Rams head-to-head

Being in separate conferences, the Bills and Rams don’t play each other often. They squared off every 4 years from 2004-2020, but they’ll now go just 2 years since their last meeting.

The most recent matchup came on Sept. 27, 2020, when the Rams visited the Bills in Buffalo. The Bills won that game, 35-32, thanks to a fourth-quarter touchdown pass from Allen with only 15 seconds left.

Dating back to 2004, the Bills are 4-1 against the Rams, winning the last two matchups. Buffalo leads the series 8-5 all-time with the first meeting coming way back in 1970.

In 7 of the last 8 meetings, at least one team has scored 30 or more points.

First look: Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals odds and lines

Looking at Los Angeles Rams vs. Cincinnati Bengals Super Bowl LVI NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

To the surprise of many, this year’s Super Bowl matchup pits the Cincinnati Bengals (13-7) against the Los Angeles Rams (15-5) – who were both the No. 4 seed in their respective conferences. It’s an unlikely matchup between the winners of the AFC North and NFC West but also a very intriguing battle between two high-powered offenses. Below, we look at the Rams vs. Bengals odds and lines for Super Bowl LVI; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Feb. 13, at SoFi Stadium, the Rams’ home field. The game will be televised on NBC.

The Rams hit some bumps in the road during the regular season, but they got hot at just the right time. They won five of their last six regular-season games and won three straight in the playoffs to reach their second Super Bowl in four years. Their 27.1 points per game (PPG) in the regular season ranked seventh in the NFL, and they averaged 28.0 PPG in the playoffs.

They went 2-0 at home in the postseason, beating the Arizona Cardinals 34-11 in the Wild Card Round and the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 in the NFC title game. They won at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-27 in the Divisional Round.

The Bengals also finished the regular season relatively well, winning five of seven between Weeks 11 through 17. Like the Rams, they too lost their season finale to a division rival, falling at the Cleveland Browns – the Rams lost to the 49ers.

The Bengals finished 10-7 and won the AFC North. In the playoffs, they beat the visiting Las Vegas Raiders 26-19 in a Wild Card tilt before going on the road to squeak by the Tennessee Titans 19-16 in the Divisional Round and upset the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime for the AFC crown. Their wins against the Titans and Chiefs both came on K Evan McPherson game-winning field goals, the final play of each game.

Rams at Bengals head-to-head

The Rams and Bengals last met in 2019 when they squared off in London. L.A. dominated Cincinnati, winning 24-10 as WR Cooper Kupp finished with 220 yards receiving and a touchdown. The starting QBs – Jared Goff for L.A. and Andy Dalton for Cincy – are with new teams now.

Super Bowl LVI will be the 15th game between these two teams. The Bengals lead the all-time series 8-6 and have won three of the last four. Since 2000, the Bengals are 3-2 against the Rams, but Los Angeles won the only meeting with Sean McVay (Los Angeles) and Zac Taylor (Cincinnati) as the head coaches of each team.

The total has only gone Over one time in their last six head-to-head contests and the Rams are 5-1-1 ATS in that stretch.

What do the Rams need to do to beat the 49ers for the first time since 2018?

The 49ers have the Rams’ number recently. How can LA change that?

The last thing standing between Matthew Stafford and his first Super Bowl appearance is the San Francisco 49ers. For the Los Angeles Rams, this is a problem.

The Rams haven’t beaten their in-state NFC West rival since 2018. San Francisco is 6-0 against Los Angeles, sweeping the regular season home-and-home series in each of the last three years. The Niners’ dominance in that stretch has taken on several forms. They’ve won low-scoring affairs (20-7 in 2019) and shootouts (34-31 later that season). Most recently, San Francisco punched its playoff ticket by overcoming a 17-0 deficit in a Week 18 overtime win.

That leaves a difficult puzzle for Rams coach Sean McVay to decipher. Los Angeles is a 3.5-point favorite at home, but history suggests his team will fail to live up to those modest expectations. So what does he have to do to stop the surge of a Niners team that’s feasted on opponent’s miscues to rally to the NFC Championship game this winter?

First look: San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams conference championship NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams battle in the NFC Championship Game with a trip to Super Bowl LVI on the line. Kick-off from SoFi Stadium for the NFC West foes is set for Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the 49ers vs. Rams odds and lines; check back for our NFL picks and predictions.

The 49ers stunned the Green Bay Packers with a 13-10 victory in the Divisional Round Saturday despite not scoring a single offensive touchdown. They won with strong special teams play including a blocked field goal at the end of the first half and a blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown with just under 5 minutes remaining as they capitalized on the Packers’ miscues.

San Francisco has won four games in a row, including three elimination games as underdogs against the Rams, Dallas Cowboys and Packers.

The Rams pulled off an upset of their own Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 30-27 road victory. They led 27-3 at one point in the third quarter but allowed the Bucs to score 24 unanswered points to tie the game with 42 seconds remaining.

However, QB Matthew Stafford hit WR Cooper Kupp for a 44-yard gain with 5 seconds left and PK Matt Gay drilled a 30-yard field goal to win it for the Rams. They’ve won back-to-back games since losing to the 49ers in Week 18.

49ers at Rams head-to-head

This will be the third meeting between the Rams and 49ers this season. The 49ers won both games in the regular season, including a miraculous overtime victory in Week 18 after erasing a 17-point deficit with an incredible comeback.

The 49ers have now won six games in a row against the Rams, sweeping them the last three seasons. The 49ers are 7-3 straight up and ATS in their last 10 against the Rams.

The Over/Under is split 5-5 in those 10 games but the total has gone Over just once in their last three meetings. San Francisco has had L.A.’s number in recent years, despite often being the underdogs.
