The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy.

Under the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program’s payout tiers, which appropriate the money generated by Venum’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC, fighters are paid based on their total number of UFC bouts, as well as Zuffa-era WEC fights (January 2007 and later) and Zuffa-era Strikeforce bouts (April 2331 and later). Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $4,000 per appearance; 4-5 bouts get $4,500; 6-10 bouts get $6,000; 11-15 bouts earn $11,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $16,000; and 21 bouts and more get $21,000. Additionally, champions earn $42,000 while title challengers get $32,000.

In addition to experience-based pay, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.

Muniz (23-6 MMA, 5-2 UFC) takes on [autotag]Junyong Park[/autotag](17-5 MMA, 7-2 UFC) at UFC Fight Night on Dec. 9, which does not yet have an announced date or location.

A person with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the booking to MMA Junkie, but asked to remain anonymous because the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Park’s management was first to report the news. Muniz also confirmed the news on his social media.

After going 5-0 to kickstart his UFC career and landing a spot in the middleweight rankings, Muniz suffered back-to-back stoppage losses to Brendan Allen, and most recently Paul Craig at UFC Fight Night 224 in July.

Winner of seven of his past eight, Park is on a four-fight winning streak, and has submitted his past three opponents. The South Korean fighter is coming off a second-round submission of Albert Duraev at UFC on ESPN 49 in July.

Make it four straight wins at middleweight for Junyong Park after he dispatched of Albert Duraev at UFC on ESPN 46.

[autotag]Junyong Park[/autotag] keeps on building momentum in the middleweight division after taking out [autotag]Albert Duraev[/autotag] at UFC on ESPN 49.

Park (17-5 MMA, 7-2 UFC) extended his winning streak to four consecutive fights when he put Duraev (16-5 MMA, 2-2 UFC) away with a rear-naked choke at the 4:45 mark of Round 2 on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

The 32-year-old from South Korea was elated after getting his hand raised. He has the second-longest active UFC winning streak at 185 pounds behind Dricus Du Plessis, and wants to keep his momentum going.
