The Georgia Bulldogs have added another piece to the puzzle in the class of 2024. Kirby Smart and Georgia, who have the No. 1 class in the 2024 recruiting cycle, secured a commitment from four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick.

Riddick plays high school football for Chilton County in Clanton, Alabama. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker is the No. 43 prospect in the junior class. Riddick is the second-ranked linebacker and the No. 2 recruit in Alabama. Riddick has impressive speed and also returns punts for Chilton County.

The Bulldogs have commitments from five offensive players in the junior class. Riddick is the first class of 2024 defender to commit to Georgia.

The Chilton County star is the latest top-ranked linebacker to commit to the University of Georgia. Georgia football has commitments from three of the top linebackers in the class of 2023.

The Georgia Bulldogs are 7-0 heading into their bye week. Georgia dominated Vanderbilt in a 55-0 victory. A lot of players saw action for Kirby Smart and company on Saturday.

Georgia has outscored Vanderbilt, 117-0, in the teams’ last two encounters.

Georgia outgained Vanderbilt, 579-150. Quarterbacks Stetson Bennett and Carson Beck both looked sharp, and each threw a pair of touchdown for the Bulldogs. Georgia held a 28-0 halftime lead and scored three rushing touchdowns throughout the contest.

Georgia football entered its Oct. 1 game at Missouri as heavy favorites over the Tigers. However, Georgia failed to get off to a strong start. The Bulldogs kicked field goals and had a pair of fumbles in the first half.

Missouri made a few nice plays. Tigers quarterback Brady Cook got outside the pocket and connected on a few chunk plays to put Missouri in a position to get points.

Kirby Smart and company trailed 16-6 at halftime. Georgia added a couple more field goals in the third quarter, but Missouri scored a few field goals as well. The Tigers took care of the football, but began to allow Stetson Bennett and Georgia to establish the run.

Four-star running back Tovani Mizell announced a commitment to Georgia Football via Twitter on Monday.

Out of DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md, Mizell ranks as the nation’s No. 107 overall player and No. 5 ranked running back in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite.

Mizell becomes the third commitment in Georgia’s 2024 class, which is ranked fourth overall and second in the SEC behind LSU.

Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher have been going at it ever since Saban claimed that “A&M bought every player on their team” and it is the reason why Texas A&M finished with the best recruiting class. Saban apologized on radio for singling anybody out, but the damage has been done. Jimbo Fisher had already hosted a fiery press conference where he was highly critical of Saban and asserted that he followed all of the current rules regulating college football.

Fisher and Texas A&M had the top-ranked incoming recruiting class. Saban and Alabama finished second in the class of 2022 recruiting rankings.

What about the team with the third-ranked class of 2022? Kirby Smart and the defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs are happy to stay out of the spotlight on this one. Georgia will have a target on its back in 2022 because it won the nation championship, but the Bulldogs don’t need to give any extra motivation to a pair of talented teams like Alabama and Texas A&M.

UGA fans are fired up after the country’s second-ranked offensive guard recruit, Earnest Greene, committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.

The country’s second-ranked offensive guard recruit, Earnest Greene, has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Greene picked UGA over Texas, Alabama and Ohio State.

Greene, a four-star offensive line recruit, played high school football for St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California. He committed to Georgia during the All-American Bowl on NBC. The four-star offensive guard signed with UGA in December, but did not make his decision public until Jan. 8.

The St. John Bosco star is ranked No. 41 overall in the class of 2022. Greene has great size, 6-foot-4 and 330 pounds. Greene has position versatility. Throughout high school, the four-star offensive line prospect played left and right tackle. He also played left tackle in the All-American Bowl.
