Four-star offensive guard recruit TJ Shanahan puts UGA in his top five

Four-star offensive guard recruit TJ Shanahan is narrowing down his college choices. Shanahan is an elite recruit that plays high school football for Westlake High School in Austin, Texas.

Westlake High School is one of the top high school football programs in the country. Westlake went 16-0 last season and won a state championship in dominant fashion.

TJ Shanahan is ranked as the No. 145 recruit in the class of 2023. The rising senior is considered the No. 7 interior offensive line prospect and the No. 25 recruit in Texas.

The 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive lineman delivers a lot of pancake blocks. Shanahan is very physical and has a bit of a nasty streak in his highlights. The four-star also plays basketball.

2023 OL RyQueze McElderry decommits from Georgia football

Georgia football has lost a pair of commitments to start the month of July.

Georgia football lost a pair of commitments to start the month of July. The Bulldogs lost one commitment from RyQueze McElderry.

McElderry, a three-star offensive line recruit, is a member of the class of 2023. Georgia football now has 12 commitments in the class of 2023. The Bulldogs have secured commitments from two 2023 offensive linemen.

McElderry committed to Georgia in December 2021. McElderry plays high school football and basketball for Anniston High School in Anniston, Alabama. The three-star offensive line prospect holds scholarship offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida State, Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia.

McElderry is 6-foot-3 and 340 pounds. He primarily plays offensive guard.

On film, McElderry is very powerful. The three-star offensive guard frequently locks opposing defensive linemen and controls them for the rest of the play. The Anniston High School star played a lot of right tackle in his impressive highlights, but he could convert to offensive guard at the college level.

Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide are a team to watch with McElderry. The Anniston standout also recently visited Tennessee.

Top recruit in Connecticut includes Georgia football in top schools

Four-star offensive lineman Olaus Alinen, who is from Finland, has updated has list of top schools.

Four-star offensive lineman Olaus Alinen has updated has list of top schools. The class of 2023 offensive tackle is the top-ranked player in Connecticut.

Alinen considers Georgia, Alabama, Miami, Oregon, and Ohio State to be his top five schools. Alinen previously named the same list of top schools on April 1 minus Oregon. Now, Alinen has added the Ducks to his top schools.

The four-star offensive tackle is planning to take an official visit to all five schools over the summer. Alinen’s official visit at the University of Georgia is currently scheduled for June 17-19.

Alinen, who is from Finland, ranks as the nation’s No. 122 overall player and as the No. 15 ranked offensive tackle in the rising senior class.  He is considered the top high school football recruit that is originally from Europe.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound tackle plays high school football for The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut. Georgia football recently offered a scholarship to one of his high school teammates. According to 247Sports, the four-star is favored to commit to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Olaus Alinen has been invited to the 2023 All-American Bowl. His father, Klaus Alinen, played for Berlin in NFL Europe and spent one season on the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad.

The Georgia Bulldogs have flipped three-star class of 2023 offensive line recruit Joshua Miller.

The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have flipped Joshua Miller, a Penn State Nittany Lions commit. Miller is a three-star class of 2023 offensive line recruit.

Georgia recently offered Miller a scholarship on May 7. The Bulldogs have heavily recruited Miller and now have added his commitment. Miller is projected to be an interior offensive lineman at the next level and is the No. 564 recruit in the class of 2023.

Joshua Miller, a rising senior, plays high school football for Life Christian Academy in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Colonial Heights is located south of Richmond.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pound interior offensive line recruit originally committed to Penn State on Dec. 20, 2021, but has changed his mind and talking to mentors and family members. Joshua Miller is ranked as the No. 11 recruit in Virginia and the No. 43 interior offensive linemen in the country.

Joshua Miller is a good athlete and can dunk a basketball. Miller has recently visited Penn State several times, but is committing to the Dawgs. The Life Christian Academy star has also visited UNC and Clemson. He has upcoming official visits set for Penn State and Georgia.

The three-star prospect is Georgia’s ninth commitment in the class of 2023. The Bulldogs have one other commitment from an interior offensive line prospect in RyQueze McElderry.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star cornerback recruit Ja’Keem Jackson. Jackson plays high school football for Osceola High School in Kissimmee, Florida. Kissimmee is located in central Florida.

The talented cornerback is a member of the class of 2023. Jackson is the No. 204 overall recruit, No. 20 cornerback, and No. 40 recruit in Florida in the class of 2023.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback has committed to play in the 2023 Under Armour All-America Game. Ja’Keem Jackson has an impressive array of scholarship offers from elite college football programs like Florida, Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, and more.

The four-star cornerback has extensive experience in 7-on-7 football. Jackson has excellent speed and runs track for Osceola.

Ja’Keem Jackson has recently visited Miami and Georgia. He has official visits planned with UCF, Iowa State, and Tennessee.

The Georgia Bulldogs and outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe have offered a scholarship to promising class of 2024 edge rusher Kolaj Cobbins. The Bulldogs have had recent success recruiting Louisiana, which is where Cobbins plays high school football.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound outside linebacker plays for Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. Cobbins has received recent scholarship offers from the three top recruiters of the 2022 recruiting cycle: Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia.

Cobbins recently visited LSU and Ole Miss. It is always a challenge to lure Louisiana’s top prospects away from the LSU Tigers.

The Destrehan star is a good student. He is considered the fourth-best recruit in Louisiana in his class and the No. 19 edge rusher in the country. Cobbins is the No. 223 recruit overall.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2023 offensive tackle prospect Tyree Adams. The Dawgs, who have had much more success recruiting Louisiana under Kirby Smart, are among the latest schools to offer the three-star offensive lineman.

Adams plays football for St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle has offers from schools like Georgia, Michigan, Indiana, Penn State, Texas A&M, Florida, and many more.

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers should have an edge recruiting Tyree Adams. Kelly has an excellent history of developing offensive line talent and LSU is the school of choice for most of the top talent within the state.

The three-star offensive tackle is rated as the No. 520 recruit in the class of 2023 and the No. 19 recruit in Louisiana.

Four-star wide receiver recruit Tyler Williams has announced his top 10 schools. He considers Georgia, Florida, Clemson, USF, USC, Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, and Syracuse to be his top schools.

The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to sign several wide receiver recruits in the upcoming cycle. Tyler Williams is the No. 25 wide receiver in the country. He plays high school football for Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida. Williams is a member of the class of 2023.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound receiver is ranked as the No. 190 recruit in the country. Williams is also a talented basketball recruit with a scholarship offer from Florida Gulf Coast. He plays point guard in basketball and was All-County first-team.

Tyler Williams is a good student and has over 30 scholarship offers to play football.

The four-star receiver previously played high school football for Winter Haven. Tyler Williams has a June 3 official visit with Clemson and a June 10 official visit with Georgia.

Georgia RB Zamir White taken in fourth round of 2022 NFL draft

Zeus is offically a Raider.

Georgia running back Zamir “Zeus” White was selected with the 122nd pick in the 2022 NFL draft by the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday.

It was on the 17th pick of the fourth round that Georgia had its tenth player this year get drafted into the NFL. White’s selection officially breaks the program record UGA set last year when it had nine players selected.

White, a 6-foot, 214 running back who hails from Laurinburg, North Carolina, has speed, versatility, and strength. He is a tough, downhill runner who has been compared to the likes of NFL backs such as Joe Mixon and Isaiah Crowell

In the 2021 season, White led all UGA running backs with 856 yards and 11 touchdowns on 160 carries.
