Commanders vs. Eagles: Final injury report for Week 8

Two starters are out for the Commanders on Sunday.

The final injury report is in for Week 8, and the Washington Commanders will be without two starters vs. the Philadelphia Eagles.

Linebacker Cody Barton and left guard Saahdiq Charles will miss Sunday’s game after suffering injuries in last week’s loss to the Giants. Either rookie Ricky Stromberg or second-year guard Chris Paul will start in Charles’ place. As for Barton, veteran David Mayo replaced him last week, but Khaleke Hudson will also see increased snaps. Hudson is a player who has always delivered when called upon.

Only one player is out for the Eagles: veteran backup cornerback Bradley Roby.

Here’s the full injury report for the Week 8 game.

Washington’s final injury report:

  • G Saahdiq Charles: Out (calf)

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. South Carolina

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s Week 9 home matchup vs. South Carolina on Saturday afternoon

Texas A&M (4-3, 2-2 SEC) will embark on a potential second-half turnaround after dropping consecutive SEC matchups to Alabama and Tennessee before entering their much-needed bye week to reflect and move on to host the South Carolina Gamecocks (2-5, 1-4 SEC) on Saturday afternoon.

Knowing that nearly every media member and Aggie fan alike will be deadset focused on Jimbo Fisher’s future at the helm, South Carolina’s struggling defense presents a great opportunity for the Aggies’ equally struggling offense to finally find some rhythm, starting with stark improvement on the offensive line.

Regarding how healthy the team looks ahead of the matchup, Fisher provided a vague yet positive update concerning several key Aggie defenders who sustained minor injuries in the loss to Tennessee.

“Most guys healed up. The week was really good. For the most part, we should be pretty healthy.”

First off, star linebacker Edgerrin Cooper, who suffered what looked to be a concussion-based injury, is good to go. At the same time, defensive tackles Walter Nolen and Albert Regis also avoided serious lower-body injuries and, as of now, should be available for Saturday. Safety Jardin Gilbert and tackle Reuben Fatheree II remain out.

South Carolina’s injury list is quite dense:

  • WR Antwane Wells Jr. (Questionable, Foot)
  • OL Vershon Lee (Questionable, Undisclosed)
  • WR Ahmarean Brown (Questionable, Hamstring)
  • WR Xavier Legette (Questionable, Upper Body)
  • RB Bradley Dunn (Out, Lower Body)
  • OL Cason Henry (Out, Lower Body)
  • OL Markee Anderson (Out,Knee)
  • TE Reid Mikeska (Out, Undisclosed)
  • LB Mohamed Kaba (Out, Knee)

Commanders vs. Giants: Final injury report for Week 7

No Commanders are out, but three Giants’ offensive linemen will miss the game.

The final injury report is in for Sunday’s Week 7 game between the Washington Commanders and New York Giants. It’s positive for the Commanders, who had 10 players listed on Wednesday’s injury report, but no one will miss Sunday’s game.

Cornerback Kendall Fuller, who did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday, practiced in a limited capacity on Friday. Fuller told reporters Thursday he was playing on Sunday.

New York’s injury report was even longer, with 15 players listed, including left tackle Andrew Thomas, quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. Only three players are ruled out for Sunday’s game, but unfortunately, Thomas is one of those players for the Giants. He hasn’t played since Week 1.

Jones was listed as questionable on the injury report, as he still hasn’t been cleared for contact. Head coach Brian Daboll didn’t rule him out, but it appears to be some gamesmanship from the Giants because Jones plays so well against the Commanders.

If Jones doesn’t play, veteran Tyrod Taylor will make his second consecutive start.

The Giants will also be without rookie center John Michael Schmitz and backup offensive lineman Matt Peart. Barkley will play on Sunday.

Here is the full injury report for Week 7.

Packers listing 10 players with playing status designations on final injury report of Week 7

Healthy coming out of the bye? Hardly. The Packers are listing 10 players with playing status designations on the final injury report of Week 7.

The inactive list for the Green Bay Packers will be an important one come Sunday afternoon in Denver. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said 10 different players will have playing status designations on the final injury report arriving later Friday.

Linebacker De’Vondre Campbell will be listed as doubtful, while running back Aaron Jones, cornerback Jaire Alexander, left guard Elgton Jenkins, linebacker Quay Walker, safety Darnell Savage, defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, safety Zayne Anderson, offensive tackle Yosh Nijman and cornerback Eric Stokes will all be listed as questionable.

It’s an incredible list considering the Packers are coming out of the bye and have played exactly one game in the month of October.

Campbell, who has already missed two games, wasn’t expected to play on Sunday to start the week. Isaiah McDuffie will likely get another start at linebacker.

Two surprises: Alexander and Jenkins both didn’t practice on Friday and are now big question marks entering Sunday. Alexander has a recurring back injury, Jenkins is still recovering from a knee injury.

Stokes remains on the PUP list as of early Friday afternoon.

Walker and Savage both suffered injuries against the Raiders before the bye but practiced this week.

LaFleur said Jones looked good in practice this week but remained limited, and the team won’t make the call on his playing status until they know how he feels Sunday.

The Packers will put out an official injury report later on Friday. Inactive lists are due 90 minutes before kickoff — so around 1:55 p.m. CT for the Packers on Sunday.

Commanders vs. Falcons: Week 6 final injury report

Only one player for either team will miss Sunday’s game.

The final preparation for Week 6 is complete as the Washington Commanders board the plane to Atlanta for a pivotal matchup against the Falcons on Sunday.

Earlier this week, the Commanders placed safeties Darrick Forrest and Jeremy Reaves on injured reserve, leading to multiple roster moves. Both players will be out a minimum of four weeks, with Reaves expected to be out significantly longer with an ACL injury.

Washington released its final injury report on Friday, and the Commanders will be without a key contributor on special teams, in cornerback Christian Holmes. How will the Commanders replace Reaves and Holmes on special teams?

Here’s Washington’s complete injury report for Sunday:

  • CB Christian Holmes: Out (hamstring)
  • DE Efe Obada: Questionable (knee)

Tight end Curtis Hodges (illness), offensive tackle Charles Leno Jr. (finger) and wide receiver Curtis Samuel (finger) were all full participants and will suit up on Sunday.

The Falcons listed three players on the injury report, but all will play Sunday.

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. Tennessee

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s Week 7 road trip to face the Tennessee Volunteers.

Texas A&M (4-2, 2-1 SEC) is fresh off its difficult loss to Alabama on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Crimson Tide 26-20 in front of a sold-out Kyle Field.

While the loss to the Crimson Tide remains their only conference blemish, the Aggies are still in the thick of the SEC West race. Still, the road only gets more demanding as they will now travel to face the Tennesse Volunteers (4-1, 1-1 SEC) in Knoxville (TN). On Monday, head coach Jimbo Fisher provided several updates regarding Texas A&M’s injury report before the team headed to Knoxville, and as of Friday, expect to see the same names make the list.

First off, star sophomore wide receiver Evan Stewart, who sustained an ankle injury two weeks prior in the win vs. Arkansas, is good to go for Saturday, which, of course, is huge for an offense that needs to rediscover their explosive downfield passing game.

Finally revealing the status of right tackle Reuben Fatheree II and former North Carolina cornerback Tony Grimes, Fisher stated that Fatheree is “still rehabbing,” with a chance to make his debut sooner than later, but is confirmed out against the Volunteers. Concerning Grimes, a lower leg injury has kept him indefinitely sidelined, as the Aggies struggling secondary has sorely missed his presence.

For Tennessee, the injury list remains the same outside of any last-minute changes before the 2:30 p.m. CT. Kickoff.

  • OL Andrej Karic (Questionable, undisclosed)
  • WR Dont’e Thornton Jr. (Probable, undisclosed)
  • DB Christian Charles (Out, ankle)
  • WR Bru McCoy (Out, ankle)
  • LB Kwauze Garland (Out, unknown)
  • LB Keenan Pili (Out, upper body)
  • RB DeSean Bishop (Out, ankle)

Texas A&M will travel to face the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 2:30 p.m. CT, inside Neyland Stadium (TV: CBS).

Breaking down Packers’ final injury report of Week 5 vs. Raiders

Breaking down the Packers’ final injury report of Week 5 vs. the Raiders.

The Green Bay Packers listed running back Aaron Jones, cornerback Jaire Alexander, cornerback Eric Stokes and safety Rudy Ford as questionable and ruled out linebacker De’Vondre Campbell and safety Zayne Anderson on the final injury report before Week 5 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

How will the injury situation affect Monday night’s showdown?

Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the Packers’ final injury report of Week 5:

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. Alabama

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s critical Week 6 matchup vs. the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide.

Texas A&M (4-1, 2-0 SEC) is set to take on the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide (4-1, 2-0 SEC) in by far the biggest matchup in college football in Week 6, as both teams are fighting for SEC West supremacy, especially after LSU dropped its second game of the season after falling to Ole Miss on Saturday night.

After defeating Arkansas 34-22, second-year defensive coordinator D.J Durkin is a man on a mission, orchestrating an impressive turnaround for an Aggie defense that has dominated the trenches, recording 14 sacks and 30 tackles for loss in their last two games while holding the Razorbacks to 174 total yards on the afternoon.

With the matchup less than 24 hours away, head coach Jimbo Fisher briefly updated the media on Monday regarding the newest injury report, as a majority of the roster, outside of offensive tackle Reuben Fatheree II and safety Jardin Gilbert, is healthy and ready to suit up. However, star sophomore wide receiver Evan Stewart’s recent ankle injury sustained against the Razorbacks is still a lingering issue.

While the rumor mill is simply unreliable, Stewart is now reportedly a game-time decision to face the Tide. Still, until we see otherwise, I’ll stick with Fisher’s original statement that the star pass catcher “should be good to go” tomorrow. Outside of Stewart, the Aggies’ stellar wide receiver core is back to full health as sophomore Noah Thomas is set to contribute at his usual level finally.

Texas A&M will host No.10 Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m. CT, inside Kyle Field (TV: CBS).

Commanders vs. Bears: Week 5 final injury report

Good news for Washington, while the Bears will be without three players.

The final injury report is in for the Week 5 edition of Thursday Night Football, featuring the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears.

The news is good for the Commanders. Wide receivers Jahan Dotson (ankle) and Curtis Samuel (quad) will play. Rookie running back Chris Rodriguez Jr., who is the third on the depth chart, is questionable. Rodriguez missed practice last week and the game with an illness.

As for the Bears, three players are ruled out for Thursday:

  • S Eddie Jackson: Foot
  • CB Jaylon Johnson: Hamstring
  • WR Chase Claypool: Non-injury related

Two others are questionable for Chicago:

  • S Jaquan Brisker: Hamstring
  • OL Teven Jenkins: Calf

The injury news coming out of a physical game against the Eagles was good news for the Commanders.

Losing Jackson and Johnson is a big blow for the Chicago secondary, which has already struggled to stop the pass.

Commanders vs. Eagles: Final injury report for Week 4

Logan Thomas is in. Chris Rodriguez Jr. is out for Week 4. Two Eagles will also miss Sunday’s game.

The final injury report is in for the Washington Commanders ahead of their Week 4 showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles. Veteran tight end Logan Thomas practiced fully again on Friday and will play Sunday vs. Philadelphia.

Running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. missed practice again Friday with an illness. He is the only Commander ruled out for Sunday. Safety Percy Butler, who has received increased snaps on defense early in the season, is questionable with a foot injury. Butler practiced fully on Friday.

Cornerbacks Emmanuel Forbes (elbow) and Benjamin St-Juste (shoulder) were full participants again on Friday and will also play in Week 4.

As for the Eagles, two players were ruled out for Sunday: Rookie safety Sydney Brown (hamstring) and wide receiver Quez Watkins (hamstring). Safety Justin Evans is questionable with a neck injury.
