Commanders vs. Cowboys: Week 18 final injury report

No Jonathan Allen or Kendall Fuller for the season finale.

The Washington Commanders will be without veteran captains Kendall Fuller and Jonathan Allen for Sunday’s regular-season finale, the team announced on Friday.

Fuller and Allen are dealing with knee injuries and missed last week’s game against the 49ers. Fuller is in the final season of a four-year contract he signed in 2020. Allen has two years remaining on his contract and hinted at wanting to move on in the offseason rather than going through a rebuild.

Cornerbacks Tariq Castro-Fields (shoulder) and Christian Holmes (concussion) will also miss Sunday’s game. Both players suffered injuries in Week 17 vs. San Francisco.

Safety Kam Curl (quad), right tackle Andrew Wylie (elbow) and defensive end Casey Toohill (shoulder) are all questionable for Sunday’s game. Wylie missed last week’s game.

Cornerback Benjamin St-Juste, who missed last week’s game with a concussion, is cleared to play Sunday. Defensive back Quan Martin (chest) and defensive tackle John Ridgeway (foot) will also play against the Cowboys.

Commanders to be without multiple starters Sunday vs. 49ers

The Commanders will be without multiple starters, including most of their secondary and two starting offensive linemen against the 49ers.

The Washington Commanders are looking to snap a six-game losing streak on Sunday when they host the San Francisco 49ers. As if beating the NFC’s top team isn’t difficult enough, the Commanders will be without multiple starters for Sunday’s game.

Washington’s secondary will be without three starters, while the offensive line will be without left tackle Charles Leno Jr. and center Tyler Larsen against San Francisco’s outstanding defensive line.

In some good news, running back Brian Robinson Jr. makes his return to the lineup after missing the last two games. Also, starting right tackle Andrew Wylie is questionable for Sunday with an elbow injury.

Washington’s secondary has struggled all season, but things could get ugly against the explosive San Francisco offense, particularly with Kendall Fuller sidelined.

Here’s Washington’s injury report for Sunday.

OUT

  • CB Kendall Fuller
  • CB Benjamin St-Juste
  • S Percy Butler
  • LT Charles Leno Jr.
  • C Tyler Larsen

Questionable

  • RT Andrew Wylie
  • QB Jacoby Brissett

Yes, you read that correctly. Brissett, named starting quarterback on Wednesday, tweaked his hamstring during Friday’s practice and was added to the injury report. If Brissett can’t go, Sam Howell will return to the starting lineup.

With Fuller, St-Juste and Butler out, we should see plenty of rookies Emmanuel Forbes and Quan Martin and young cornerback Tariq Castro-Fields — a San Francisco draft pick in 2022.

In San Francisco injury news, quarterback Brock Purdy, left tackle Trent Williams and wide receiver Deebo Samuel are all off the injury and will play.

Defensive tackle Arik Armstead will miss Sunday’s game.

Here’s the full injury report.

Commanders vs. Jets: Week 16 final injury report

No Brian Robinson Jr., Charles Leno, or Tyler Larsen against the Jets in Week 16.

Final injury reports are in for Week 16, and the Washington Commanders will be without three starters against the New York Jets.

Robinson injured his hamstring in the Week 13 loss to the Miami Dolphins and didn’t play last week. He was working with trainers this week but was unable to practice.

Leno left last week’s game with a calf injury, while Larsen departed with a knee injury. This will be the first game Leno has missed this season. Cornelius Lucas will start at left tackle.

Larsen moved into the starting lineup in Week 8, replacing the ineffective Nick Gates. Gates will move back into the starting role.

Safety Percy Butler is questionable for Sunday’s game with an illness.

As for the Jets, the big news is quarterback Zach Wilson was ruled out with a concussion. That means veteran Trevor Siemian will start under center. Without Aaron Rodgers, it hasn’t mattered who New York has started at quarterback this season.

Interestingly enough, Rodgers was activated this week and added to the injury report and is the only other New York player listed as out.

Here’s the Jets’ injury report.

Commanders vs. Dolphins: Final injury report for Week 13

Two out for the Commanders and good news for the Dolphins on Friday’s injury report.

The Washington Commanders will be without rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Forbes, along with defensive end James Smith-Williams, will miss the Week 13 matchup.

Forbes injured his elbow in the Week 11 loss to the New York Giants and missed last week’s game. Head coach Ron Rivera said Forbes’ injury was “pretty significant” but believed he’d be able to play again this season.

Smith-Williams has been dealing with a hamstring injury since Week 9.

Here’s Washington’s final injury report for Sunday:

  • CB Emmanuel Forbes: OUT (elbow)
  • C Tyler Larsen: Questionable (knee)
  • DE James Smith-Williams: OUT (hamstring)
  • FB Alex Armah: Full participant (hamstring)

As for the Dolphins, no player was ruled out for Week 13.

Questionable:

  • S Jevon Holland (knees)
  • OT Kendall Lamm (back)
  • OL Lester Cotton (illness)
  • LT Terron Armstead (knee/quad)
  • RB Chris Brooks (knee)
  • OL Robert Jones (knee)

The Dolphins listed 18 players on the injury report, but everyone else had no game status listed for Week 13, which means they’re likely to play. WR Tyreek Hill and RB Raheem Mostert were both limited but will play on Sunday.

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. No. 14 LSU

Here is the final injury ahead of Texas A&M’s regular-season finale vs. No. 14 LSU in Baton Rouge (LA) on Saturday afternoon.

Texas A&M (7-4, 4-3 SEC) will end its 2023 football regular season on the road against the 14th-ranked LSU Tigers (8-3, 5-2 SEC). The game comes less than two weeks after the firing of head coach Jimbo Fisher, who was two games away from finishing his sixth season at the helm.

In interim head coach Elijah Robinson’s first game in his new role, the Aggies defeated Abilene Christian, 38-10, behind a 21-3 second-half scoring run in the final game in Kyle Field this season. An all-walk-on kickoff team fielded late in the fourth quarter was truly one of the best moments you will witness all season.

While this game has no bearing on the Aggies’ bowl eligibility after winning their 7th game last weekend, defeating the best offense in college football behind the arm and legs of senior quarterback and Heisman Trophy favorite Jayden Daniels is a significant achievement amid all the chaos surrounding who will succeed Fisher at the helm in the coming days.

On Monday, Robinson stated that quarterback Max Johnson, who has missed A&M’s last two games with a rib injury, is doubtful to start against the Tigers, placing sophomore signal-caller Jaylen Henderson in the driver’s seat for his third consecutive start. Starting cornerback Josh DeBerry is also questionable about returning after joining Johnson on the injury list after the loss to Ole Miss.

Sophomore wide receiver Evan Stewart’s status with the team after rumors indicated that he will not travel to Baton Rouge has no factual basis as of now. Nothing is set in stone until the Aggies take the field for pre-game warmups on Saturday.

NOTE: It has been reported that Evan Stewart did not travel to Baton Rouge ahead of the game.

Texas A&M will take on 14th-ranked LSU on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. CT., and ESPN will carry the game.

Commanders vs. Cowboys: Final injury report for Week 12

The Commanders will be without Emmanuel Forbes vs. Cowboys.

Washington’s abbreviated week of practice is over as the Commanders traveled to Dallas for their Week 12 Thanksgiving Day showdown with the Cowboys.

Washington looks to rebound from last week’s ugly loss to the New York Giants, while Dallas hopes to remain undefeated at AT&T Stadium.

Each team released its final injury reports on Wednesday, and the Commanders will be without three players, including rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes.

Forbes injured his elbow in Sunday’s game, and while he did return, the short week likely impacted his availability to play on Thanksgiving.

Washington will also be without defensive end James Smith-Williams. Smith-Williams injured his hamstring in the loss to the Seahawks in Week 10. Fullback Alex Armah will also miss Thursday’s game at Dallas with a hamstring injury.

The Cowboys received much better injury news, with all but two players on Tuesday’s injury report returning to practice Wednesday. Safety Jayron Kearse is doubtful, and running back Rico Dowdle is questionable.

Commanders vs. Giants: Final injury report for Week 11

The Commanders could be without Antonio Gibson on Sunday.

The final injury report is in for Week 11, and the Washington Commanders will be down two players, with another critical offensive player doubtful.

Defensive end James Smith-Williams, who left last week’s game with a hamstring injury, is out. Fullback Alex Armah, who also fills in at tight end, will also miss Sunday’s game.

The big news for Washington is running back Antonio Gibson. Gibson is doubtful for Sunday against the New York Giants with a toe injury. He hasn’t practiced all week. Gibson and Brian Robinson Jr. are in a virtual timeshare in the backfield. Both players have been excellent recently.

Here is Washington’s final injury report:

  • FB Alex Armah: Out (hamstring)
  • RB Antonio Gibson: Doubtful (toe)
  • DE James Smith-Williams: Out (hamstring)
  • CB Benjamin St-Juste: Full (illness)
  • WR Curtis Samuel: Full (toe)

Here is the Giants’ final injury report:

  • LB Bobby Okereke: Limited (hip)
  • WR Jalin Hyatt: Full (concussion)
  • OL Evan Neal: Out (ankle)
  • OLB Kayvon Thibodeaux: Full (concussion)
  • CB Adoree’ Jackson: Out (concussion)
  • CB Deonte Banks: Full (ankle)
  • RB Saquon Barkley: Limited (ankle)
  • QB Tommy DeVito: Full (shoulder)
  • CB Cor’Dale Flott: Full (shoulder)
  • S Xavier McKinney: Full (rib)
  • S Jason Pinnock: Full (thumb/ankle)
  • WR Wan’Dale Robinson: Limited (knee)
  • OL Andrew Thomas: Questionable (knee)
  • RB Deon Jackson: Full (concussion)
  • LB Azeez Ojulari: Limited (ankle)

Final injury report ahead to Texas A&M vs. Abilene Christian

Hear is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s final home game of the 2023 season vs. Abilene Christian.

When the news broke that Jimbo Fisher had been fired from Texas A&M (6-4, 4-3 SEC) on Sunday, everything relating to the 2023 season paused until assistant head coach Elijah Robinson was granted the interim position for the remaining three games, as the Aggies are back to work this week to finish the season strong.

On Monday, Robinson, in his first official media appearance as head coach, focused on his new responsibilities, what he learned during his last five seasons under Fisher, and how the team responded to the news after learning of Robinson’s promotion:

“When we talked to the team and addressed them about the transition, I thought those guys handled it really well. Those guys embraced me. They weren’t happy about what happened, but they were ready to move forward.”

Heading into his first game in the interim role, Robinson has already made an immediate impact, as reports out of practice this week described a team as confident as ever without letting Fisher’s dismissal affect their collective focus with three games left to finish out strong.

Regarding the injury report ahead of kickoff vs. ACU, quarterback Max Johnson’s status has unfortunately been kept in the dark. Still, he is not expected to play, meaning sophomore Jaylen Henderson will make his second straight start after scoring four touchdowns in last weekend’s 51-10 thrashing of Mississippi State.

Concerning wide receiver Evan Stewart, it was reported that he returned to practice this week and, outside of any last-minute updates, will play against the Wildcats, hopefully providing Henderson with a full receiving arsenal to do some serious damage through the air.

Here is Texas A&M’s complete injury list:

Texas A&M

  • QB Conner Weigman (Out, foot)
  • TE Donovan Green (Out, ACL)
  • QB Max Johnson (Questionable, Ribs)
  • DB Jardin Gilbert (Out, shoulder)
  • RB Le’Veon Moss (Questionable, hamstring)
  • WR Evan Stewart (Questionable, lower body)

In his first game as interim head coach, Robinson will lead Texas A&M against the visiting Abilene Christian Wildcats on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 11:00 a.m., where the game will air on ESPN+ and SEC+.

Commanders vs. Seahawks: Final injury report for Week 10

The Commanders and Seahawks are pretty healthy heading into Week 10.

The final injury report is in for Week 10, and only one player is ruled out for the meeting between the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders.

While the Seahawks listed several players on the initial injury report on Wednesday, only guard Anthony Bradford is ruled out for Sunday’s game.

As for the Commanders, starting wide receiver Curtis Samuel is questionable with a toe injury. Samuel missed last week’s game at New England.

Here is the Commanders’ final injury report:

  • WR Curtis Samuel: Questionable (toe)
  • CB Emmanuel Forbes: Full participant, will play (Achilles)

Here’s Seattle’s final injury report:

OUT

  • G Anthony Bradford: (knee)

QUESTIONABLE

  • RB DeeJay Dallas: shoulder
  • TE Colby Parkinson: biceps
  • RB Kenny McIntosh: knee

Seattle head coach Pete Carroll is optimistic that all of the “questionable” players will be good to go Sunday vs. Washington.

Commanders vs. Patriots: Week 9 final injury report

Curtis Samuel will miss Sunday’s game for the Commanders.

The final injury reports are out for the Week 9 contest between the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots. The Commanders will be without starting wide receiver Curtis Samuel, opening the door for veteran Jamison Crowder to get more looks in the slot. Washington could also use Jahan Dotson in the slot, allowing Dyami Brown more snaps on the outside.

The Patriots, who have had a lengthy injury list all week, will also be without two players for Sunday’s game.

Here are the full injury reports beginning with the Commanders:

  • WR Curtis Samuel: OUT (toe)
  • C/G Ricky Stromberg: OUT (knee)
