Breaking down Packers’ final injury report of Week 4 vs. Lions

Breaking down the final injury report for the Packers before Thursday’s Week 4 showdown against the Lions.

The Green Bay Packers ruled out left tackle David Bakhtiari, left guard Elgton Jenkins, linebacker De’Vondre Campbell and safety Zayne Anderson and listed running back Aaron Jones, receiver Christian Watson, cornerback Jaire Alexander, offensive tackle Zach Tom and cornerback Carrington Valentine as questionable on the final injury report before Week 4 against the Detroit Lions.

How will the injury situation affect Thursday night’s showdown?

Here’s an in-depth break down of the Packers’ final injury report of Week 4:

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. Auburn

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s SEC opener vs. Auburn on Saturday afternoon

Texas A&M (2-1) will take on the visiting Auburn Tigers (3-0) on Saturday afternoon inside Kyle Field, and yes, it’s going to be a scorcher, as temperatures will be as high as 95 degrees, and even hotter on the field.

Both programs are coming off wins against lesser opponents, as the Aggies blew out UL Monroe 47-3 last Saturday, while the Tigers downed Samford 45-13 to stay perfect on the season, setting up for one of the most challenging matchups to predict at the start of SEC play.

While Texas A&M’s defense has been less than exceptional, quarterback Conner Weigman tore the Warhawks secondary to shreds, throwing for an efficient 25/29, 337 yards, and two touchdowns, including a 19-yard rushing score, further proving that the Aggies offense will be their predominate strength in 2023.

Earlier this week, head coach Jimbo Fisher provided a brief update regarding the injury report after several players sat down last weekend, headlined by star wide receiver Evan Stewart, starting center Bryce Foster, and freshman tackle Chase Bisontis.

While Stewart, Foster, and Bisontis are primed to return to the lineup against Auburn, starting right tackle Reuben Fatheree II is reportedly still in the process of rehabbing before he can fully return, according to Fisher during his weekly SEC teleconference:

“I do not know. That will be up to his development on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis we are seeing. But he is practicing well, doing well, getting better each and every day and we will see as that goes.”

Noah Thomas left mid-game due to a lower body stinger but will reportedly return as well, as the Aggies’ entire wide receiver depth chart will be available against the Tigers.

For Auburn, linebacker Austin Keys will miss the game, and most notably, starting cornerback Keitonte Scott will also miss the game as a late scratch this week.

Texas A&M will host the Auburn Tigers at Kyle Field on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 11:00 a.m., where it will air on ESPN.

Cowboys offer optimism with final injury report of Week 3

From @ToddBrock24f7: Trevon Diggs is out. Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz are officially questionable, but the team is spreading encouraging vibes on both.

Apart from the very obvious injury that dominated headlines in Cowboys Nation late Thursday, the team is actually in good physical shape heading into their Week 3 trip to Glendale, with no new adds to the final injury report of the week.

Cornerback Trevon Diggs will be moved to season-ending injured reserve soon, but for now, he’s the only player on the Cowboys active roster who’s been ruled out of Sunday’s contest.

Brandin Cooks, Tyler Smith, Donovan Wilson, and Jayron Kearse are all good to go, carrying no game-day designation whatsoever into the team’s meeting with the 0-2 Cardinals. Chuma Edoga is also fully back and will be ready to sub in on the line if needed.

Zack Martin did not participate for the third day in a row (Friday was just a walkthrough, as usual), but he’s only listed as questionable for Sunday. That’s more encouraging than a “doubtful” status would have been; Martin himself said he could have stayed in last week’s game and kept playing after getting rolled up late on versus the Jets.

As for center Tyler Biadasz, he was a DNP after a hamstring issue popped up on Thursday. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Biadasz was “sore” on Friday, but added that after conferring with the team’s medical staff, “they think he’ll be ready to go.”

The Cardinals kept the same four names on their Friday report that have been there all week. Two defensive players are out; another is questionable.

Commanders final injury report for Week 3: Logan Thomas ruled out

Thomas is out, Curl and Samuel are questionable.

The Washington Commanders will be without starting tight end Logan Thomas for their Week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills. Thomas, who suffered a concussion on a touchdown reception late in the second quarter of last week’s win over the Denver Broncos, was ruled out Friday and remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol.

In some good news for Washington, defensive tackle Daron Payne, who missed Wednesday and was limited on Thursday, was a full participant Friday and will play on Sunday.

Two late additions to the injury report were wide receiver Curtis Samuel and safety Kamren Curl. Head coach Ron Rivera said both were dealing with flu-like symptoms and listed as questionable. However, if the NFL used the old injury designations, they’d be listed as probable.

Here’s the complete injury report for both teams.

The Bills had several players on the injury report this week, but everyone who was limited or missed practice earlier this week was a full participant on Friday. That includes tight end Dawson Knox, linebacker Terrel Bernard, defensive end Leonard Floyd and safety Micah Hyde.

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. UL Monroe

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s home matchup vs. UL Monroe on Saturday afternoon.

Texas A&M (1-1) is fresh off their disappointing 48-33 road loss to the highly underrated Miami Hurricanes, who, by all means, bullied the Aggies into submission in one of the more lopsided second-half performances witnessed in the first few weeks of the 2023 season.

Ahead of the Aggies’ Week 3 home matchup vs. the visiting UL Monroe Warhawks, head coach Jimbo Fisher spoke to the media on Monday to reflect on the loss as the team resets and refocuses with ten games remaining in the regular season.

Albeit not providing any new updates regarding the injury report, the two players that are deemed to return to the lineup after missing the last two games include starting right tackle Reuben Fatheree II after recovering from his knee injury and freshman wide receiver Micah Tease—fresh off a full week of practice to get back in game shape.

Assuming Fatheree does return to the starting lineup, his size, strength, and experience on the right side of the line will only make starting quarterback Conner Weigman’s job easier after the sophomore signal caller endured blitz attempts on 33 of his 57 dropbacks against Miami.

Something to keep an eye on: Starting defensive end Shemar Turner’s recent arrest for reckless driving was unsurprisingly not mentioned by Fisher, so based on the lack of public acknowledgment, I personally expect Turner, who leads the Aggies in sacks so far this season, to start against UL Monroe.

Final injury report ahead of Texas A&M vs. Miami

Here is the final injury report ahead of Texas A&M’s Week 2 road battle vs. Miami on Saturday afternoon

Texas A&M (1-0) is just one sleep away from their Week 2 road matchup vs. Miami after defeating New Mexico 52-10 last Saturday in one of their more dominant season openers during Jimbo Fisher’s tenure with the program.

Behind the arm of starting quarterback Conner Weigman (18/23, 236 yards, five touchdowns), with three of his touchdowns going to sophomore wide receiver Noah Thomas, new offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino has the Aggies rolling on all cylinders, while the impressive debut for cornerback Josh DeBerry (10 tackles, one sack, one interception) was a sense of comfort for every Aggie fan unsure of the defensive backfield depth.

Earlier this week, Fisher answered a bevy of questions regarding the upcoming matchup with the Hurricanes while opining on the current injury slate the Aggies are dealing with before making their way to South Beach. First off, transfer linebacker Jurriente Davis, who finished the opener with four tackles, left the game with a minor injury, described as being “banged up” according to Fisher, is probable to return to action on Saturday.

On the offensive line, starting tackle Reuben Fatheree, who was listed as the 2nd-unit left tackle against New Mexico, was replaced at his original right tackle spot by freshman OL Chase Bisontis, who performed well in his debut. Fatheree should be ready to go tomorrow, but as we all know, Fisher won’t release the official depth chart until game time.

Lastly, freshman wide receiver Micah Tease is suspended indefinitely after his arrest, and no announcement has been made regarding his return to the lineup.

Texas A&M will face the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, Sept. 9, which will air on ABC at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Final injury report for Commanders vs. Cowboys, Week 18

The Commanders ruled six players out, including Jonathan Allen and Brian Robinson Jr., for the season finale against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Washington Commanders ruled out six players for the season finale against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday.

Here’s the complete list:

  • DT Jonathan Allen [knee]
  • G/T Saahdiq Charles [concussion]
  • T Cornelius Lucas [ankle]
  • RB Brian Robinson Jr. [knee]
  • CB Benjamin St-Juste [ankle]
  • DE James Smith-Williams [concussion]

Surprisingly, safety Kam Curl, who didn’t practice all week again, was listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Curl has missed the last two games, and there is little benefit to him playing on Sunday.

Linebacker Jamin Davis [knee] and guard Andrew Norwell [hip] were also listed as questionable. The Commanders were thin at linebacker before, but with Davis banged up, they are perilously thin. Regardless of whether or not Norwell plays, rookie Chris Paul is expected to start at one of the guard spots.

St-Juste will miss his fifth game out of the last six. He injured his ankle in a Week 11 win at Houston and was never the same. When he returned against the 49ers, his ankle was clearly still bothering him. St-Juste missed both games against the Giants.

Robinson has been outstanding recently but has been on the injury report over the last few weeks. At this point, shutting him down was the best option, giving Jonathan Williams and Jaret Patterson an opportunity to split the workload.

Things look much better for Dallas, which listed two players as out: Center Tyler Biadasz and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch.

Final injury report for Commanders vs. Browns, Week 17

The final injury report is out, and it features some bad news for the Commanders.

The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for Week 17 Friday, featuring multiple players either out or questionable.

Running back Antonio Gibson will miss his first game of the season with knee/ankle injuries. With J.D. McKissic already out for the season, Jonathan Williams will back up Brian Robinson Jr. in Washington’s backfield.

Guard Saahdiq Charles [concussion] will miss his third consecutive game. Defensive end James Smith-Williams suffered a concussion in last week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers and is out.

Four players are listed as questionable, and all are in the secondary:

  • S Kam Curl [ankle]
  • S Percy Butler [hip]
  • CB Benjamin St-Juste [ankle]
  • CB Christian Holmes [ankle]

Curl missed last week’s game, and the Commanders felt his loss. Head coach Ron Rivera and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio each discussed how much Washington missed Curl.

St-Juste returned last week after missing three games and wasn’t 100%. He finished the game but clearly wasn’t his usual self. St-Juste was limited Wednesday and missed practice on Thursday and Friday, which doesn’t bode well for his availability against the Browns.

Cleveland had multiple players listed on the injury report throughout the week but lists only defensive end Jadeveon Clowney as questionable.

Breaking down Packers’ final injury report for Week 17 vs. Vikings

A quick look at the final injury reports for the Packers and Vikings ahead of the Week 17 showdown at Lambeau Field.

The Green Bay Packers listed receiver Christian Watson and returner/cornerback Keisean Nixon as questionable for Sunday’s Week 17 showdown with the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field.

Here’s an in-depth breakdown of the team’s final injury report of Week 17:

Final injury report for Commanders vs. 49ers, Week 16

Chase Young will play while Deebo Samuel remains out for the 49ers.

The final injury report for Week 16 is out and contains some good news for the Washington Commanders.

Head coach Ron Rivera told reporters after practice that defensive end Chase Young would play Saturday against the San Francisco 49ers. Young will likely only see a limited number of snaps, but it’s a step in the right direction for Young, who tore his ACL last November.

In other injury news, two key members of the secondary, safety Kamren Curl [ankle] and cornerback Benjamin St-Juste [ankle], are listed as questionable for Saturday. Curl did not practice Friday, while St-Juste remained limited. From all indications, St-Juste will play against the 49ers.

Guard Saahdiq Charles will miss his second consecutive game due to a concussion. Charles’ absence impacts Washington’s depth, which is concerning against San Francisco.

Running backs Antonio Gibson and Brian Robinson Jr. and left guard Andrew Norwell all practiced Friday and will play.

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, wide receiver Deebo Samuel and defensive tackle Kevin Givens are all out for the 49ers. Garoppolo is out for the season, while Samuel is out for multiple weeks, so those weren’t a surprise.
