Eagles vs Panthers: what to bet in today’s game

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) return home on Sunday to host the Carolina Panthers (3-9). While the Panthers have improved in the last month, the Eagles need every win to fight for the first seed in the NFC.

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) return home on Sunday to host the Carolina Panthers (3-9). While the Panthers have improved in the last month, the Eagles need every win to fight for the first seed in the NFC.

Right now on BetMGM, the Eagles are heavily favorited (-900) with the Panthers being huge road dogs (+600). The over/under is set at 46 total points at (-110) odds in either direction.

Here are some great bets to make for Sunday’s game, odds courtesy of BetMGM.

Panthers First Quarter (+230)

The Eagles have struggled this season to score in the first quarter, so I wouldn’t be surprised (nor worried) if the Panthers take the first quarter win. If you don’t want to take any money lines, this would be your smartest bet.

Jalen Hurts O 201.5 Passing Yards (-110)

At this point in the season, the Panthers are somewhat prepared for Saquon Barkley. In the chance that the Eagles make this game a game, they’ll need to rely on Hurts’ passing game. As they approach playoffs, the Eagles are going to need to keep the passing game strong.

DeVonta Smith Over 47.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

I don’t think BetMGM got the memo that Smith will be back in the game this weekend. He is going to have a baller game and likely come back like nothing left. The only logical reason why Smith would have under 47 yards is if coach Nick Sirianni limits his play time.

Three bets and one parlay to make in the Eagles-Giants game

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) have one last shot to finish the season strong before getting ready for playoffs against the New York Giants (5-11) on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) have one last shot to finish the season strong before getting ready for playoffs against the New York Giants (5-11) on Sunday. Both teams have different immediate futures they’ll be looking to in the postseason, but will remain focused on what they see from their players in future games like this one.

The Eagles are (-200) favorites on BetMGM with the Giants being (+250) underdogs at home. Check out more bets and a parlay for this NFC East season finale matchup.

Jalen Hurts Anytime TD

Granted, the Eagles may choose to rest their starters and makeshift somewhat of a “bye week” that the team is going to need heading into the postseason, but if not, I expect a Hurts anytime touchdown at some point in the game. I think they might give him the touchdown opportunity and then put Marcus Mariota in, but I don’t see a world where Hurts wouldn’t get a rushing touchdown to round out the season finale.

Saquon Barkley Anytime TD

I’d say the same for Barkley. Against a divisional opponent, I’d assume Barkley is ready to throw a wrench in the Eagles’ playoff plans. In Week 16, Barkley earned a rushing touchdown and I think he’s capable of delivering again. If the Eagles defense is resting, this bet should almost be a given and you’ll probably find better value parlaying this with other bets.

O 38 Total Points

Regardless of who plays on Sunday, I think both teams are capable of putting up points to round out the season. I think whoever starts with the ball will set the momentum for the rest of the game. It’s an NFC East division on the line, so I think the Giants are either going to be trying to stop the Eagles or not care as much and just focus on good NFL Draft positioning.

Three bets and one parlay to make in the Eagles-Cardinals game

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-4) look to take care of business against the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) at home on Sunday.

The Philadelphia Eagles (11-4) look to take care of business against the Arizona Cardinals (3-12) at home on Sunday. To make matters more interesting, former defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is also the head coach of the Cardinals. The Eagles are looking to continue being on the right track for playoffs, but the Cardinals still have an opportunity to tarnish the Eagles’ high-seed chances.

The Eagles are (-750) and the Cardinals are (+525) on BetMGM. Check out more bets I have lined up for Sunday’s New Year’s Eve matchup.

AJ Brown Anytime Touchdown

I think the Eagles offense has another good day ahead of them. The offensive weapons should expect to eat today especially since the Cardinals’ defense is below average this season. AJ Brown usually feels like a safety net bet for anytime touchdown, so I’m rocking with him today.

First Quarter O 9.5 Points

I think the Eagles get off to a fast start today. The team is home on New Year’s Eve against their former defensive coordinator’s team, so there will be rowdiness inside the stadium. I think the Eagles strike first with a touchdown and again with a field goal just in the first quarter.

J. Hurts O 251.5 Passing Yards

Part of the offense having a good day comes down to Hurts being able to execute offensively. The team is also fighting tooth and nail to try to keep their first-seed hopes alive (as long as the 49ers drop one more and the Eagles win out. I think Hurts has another great day at home and hits his over on the passing yards prop.

Jenn’s Philly-Philly Parlay (+310, BetMGM)

Money line – Eagles

J. Hurts Anytime TD

J. Hurts 2+ Passing TDs

J. Hurts O 199.5 Passing Yards

Total Points O 48.5

Three bets and one parlay to make in the Eagles-Giants game

This Christmas will be a very special Christmas if these NFC East bets hit. The Philadelphia Eagles (10-4) are back home to welcome the New York Giants (5-9) in an NFC East matchup Monday afternoon. Both teams faced their share of struggles but one of them will try to make things right for a Christmas miracle.

Right now, BetMGM has the Eagles favored at home (-900) against the Giants who are (+600) underdogs. Check out more great bets for this NFC East Christmas game.

J. Hurts Anytime TD

I think we see a big much-needed game from Jalen Hurts. The red zone is still giving me some concerns but where there’s a 3rd-and-1 or 4th-and-1, I know we’re getting a Hurts touchdown. Against the Seahawks, Hurts had two rushing touchdowns. Nothing stops him from delivering this week.

Total O 43 Points

Considering that divisional games can be a toss-up, I don’t doubt that these two teams are going to be going hard against each other. The Eagles and Giants will probably each put up a few touchdowns if the Eagles don’t attempt to come back into the W column.

J. Hurts O 1.5 Passing TDs

Back to Hurts having a good day, I think he connects with the offense this weekend and gets at least two passing touchdowns. We haven’t seen this level of play from Hurts yet, so it’s long overdue. Should the Eagles fall into a rhythm against the Giants, Hurts should manage to get two passing touchdowns on Monday.

Jenn’s Pick Six Parlay (+500, BetMGM)

Moneyline – Eagles

Total Points – O 43.5

J. Hurts O 219.5 Passing Yards

A.J. Brown Anytime TD

Three bets and one parlay to make in the Eagles-Cowboys game

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) face the Dallas Cowboys (9-3) on the road for a crucial NFC East division matchup.

The Philadelphia Eagles (10-2) face the Dallas Cowboys (9-3) on the road for a crucial NFC East division matchup. The Cowboys come off of a win against the Seattle Seahawks (6-6), but the Eagles are looking to get back to the win column after a loss to the San Francisco 49ers (9-3).

BetMGM favors the Cowboys at (-175) and the Eagles are road dogs at (+145). Check out great bets before the NFC East matchup.

A.J. Brown Anytime TD

When in doubt, rely on the guy who’s always open. I think the Cowboys are going to give him a hard time today, but with that adversity, there will be a play where Brown breaks through and gets a touchdown. It’s going to happen at some point.

D. Smith Anytime TD

In the chance that Brown gets locked up by Cowboys defenders, you know DeVonta Smith will be available. I’m almost always 100% backing an “if not Brown, take Smith and vice versa” kind of bet. Smith has been phenomenal throughout the gauntlet and I think it continues today.

Total O 51.5 Points

Throughout the season, the Eagles hit this specific over vs their opponents eight times. They’ve been high-scoring in some games and kept it close in others, but for both the Eagles and Cowboys to score at least 26 points today is a serious given.

Jenn’s Pick Six Parlay

Total Points – O 51.5

D. Prescott 2+ Passing TDs

J. Hurts 1+ Passing TD

Jake Ferguson 40+ Receiving Yards

Three bets and one parlay to make in the Eagles-Bills game

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) return to Lincoln Financial Field in a late afternoon showdown against the Buffalo Bills (6-5) in their second and final Kelly Green game of the season.

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) return to Lincoln Financial Field in a late afternoon showdown against the Buffalo Bills (6-5) in their second and final Kelly Green game of the season. The Eagles look to advance to 10-1 in back-to-back seasons, but the Bills are looking for answers as they continue their playoff push.

BetMGM has the Eagles as (-160) favorites, while the Bills sit at (+135) underdogs. Check out some great bets and a parlay below ahead of the game.

Eagles ML (-160)

If the Eagles could beat the Kansas City Chiefs, they should have zero problems beating anyone else in the league. In a perfect world for Eagles fans, that happens. However, we know that will not. But I have confidence they will get another win.

D. Smith Anytime TD (+110)

I was silly enough last week not to say that DeVonta Smith would come in clutch in a big way, so I’m spinning that back this week. I think he gets a touchdown since the Bills are focused on locking down A.J. Brown. With movement in the expansive receiver room right now, I guess Smitty gets it done for the team.

Total O 49.5 (+100)

We really think the Eagles have another high-scoring game. It’s an AFC team we’re talking about, after all—a good one at that. The Eagles will put to the test again and want to come away with some points, and the Bills will take it easy.

Jenn’s Pick Six Parlay

Total O 48.5 Points

Brown Anytime TD

Three bets to make in the Eagles-Cowboys game

It’s Dallas Week for the Philadelphia Eagles (7-1) as one of their next biggest challenges continues. The Eagles are favorites at (-160) on BetMGM to win the mid-day game, and the Cowboys are (+135) underdogs.

Eagles ML (-160)

At home. Eagles fans will be riled up. Key players are coming back. I think this is a recipe for success for the Philadelphia Eagles to take this needed game at home.

AJ Brown Anytime TD (-105)

Just keep feeding AJ Brown because he is delivering. An anytime touchdown prop at this point feels like easy money with this guy.

Total Over 47.5 (+100)

The Eagles and Cowboys are going to go back and forth tomorrow. It’s going to be fun watching them put up 20+ points by halftime. I particularly like the over at 47.5 points.
