Colts vs. Titans: Keys to victory in Week 5

Here’s how the Colts can beat the Titans in Week 5.

The Indianapolis Colts continue their homestand in Week 5 with an AFC South rivalry game against the Tennessee Titans.

The division is currently a very contested race. All four teams hold the same record entering this week and need a win to continue their push for the South’s best. The Colts, in particular, are looking to right the wrongs of several games past and break a five-game losing streak against Tennessee.

Here are the keys to victory for overcoming the prowess of the Titans:

Colts’ Drew Ogletree clears concussion protocol

Drew Ogletree looks good to go for Week 2.

Indianapolis Colts tight end Drew Ogletree was cleared from the concussion protocol and will play against the Houston Texans in Week 2, the team announced Saturday.

Ogletree suffered a concussion during the season opener on a 20-yard reception against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He quickly progressed through the protocol as the week went on, capping the week with a full participation at practice on Friday.

Because he still had to be cleared by the independent neurologist, he was given a questionable tag on the final injury report. However, he was cleared Saturday and the questionable tag was removed.

Ogletree should be active now that he’s been cleared, and he may even see a slightly bigger role due to the fact that fellow tight end Kylen Granson was added to the injury report Saturday due to a hamstring injury. He’s considered questionable to play for the divisional matchup.

If Granson can’t play or is limited due to the injury, we may see the debut of rookie Will Mallory.

UPDATE: We swapped Colts tight end Drew Ogletree for Kylen Granson. Ogletree was cleared from the concussion protocol and taken off the injury report while Granson was a late addition to the injury report due to a hamstring injury.
