4 bold predictions for Bears’ final home stand vs. Giants

The Bears and Giants will face off Sunday at Soldier Field, where an historic moment could take place. Our bold predictions:

Though this Sunday’s game between the Chicago Bears and the New York Giants is the first game of 2022, it’s the final home game for the 2021 season.

Both teams are stumbling towards the finish line of a disappointing season, each finishing with double-digit losses and a myriad of questions heading into the offseason.

But there is still a game to be played that could see an historic moment take place. Here are my bold predictions for Bears vs. Giants on the lakefront.

10 bold predictions: Michigan football vs. Georgia in Capital One Orange Bowl

If all goes to plan here, Michigan football will survive and advance!

While it might not have been the draw that most had wanted, Michigan football found its way into the College Football Playoff, where it will take on a Georgia team in the Capital One Orange Bowl semi-final that most believed was unbeatable for much of the season.

Still, it’s a matchup between blue bloods, and certainly the more intriguing of the two semi-final games.

While there are some who believe the Wolverines will win this game, others aren’t giving the maize and blue a chance, based on Georgia’s reputation. We’re leaning towards picking Michigan in this one, though we haven’t made our final predictions just yet. But, with that in mind, here are 10 bold predictions we anticipate happening on Dec. 31 between the two teams that are evenly matched on paper.

5 bold predictions for Bears’ Week 11 matchup vs. Ravens

What exactly will we see from this Bears team coming off extra rest down multiple key leaders? Our bold predictions vs. Ravens.

Football resumes this weekend for the Chicago Bears as they come off their bye week to face the Baltimore Ravens on the lakefront. All eyes will be on the two young quarterbacks, Justin Fields and Lamar Jackson, but this game is also about two teams looking to get back on track.

The Bears have dropped four games in a row and are dealing with significant injury issues, particularly on the defense. Khalil Mack and Danny Trevathan have been placed on the season-ending injured reserve, while Akiem Hicks and Allen Robinson are both likely out as well. For the Ravens, they were rolling until they were bottled up by the Miami Dolphins on a Thursday night.

Which team will find themselves back in the win column? More importantly, what exactly will we see from this Bears team coming off extra rest down multiple key leaders? Here are my bold predictions ahead of this week’s matchup.

Four bold predictions for Texas’ game against Kansas

Let’s hope these come true.

Will this finally be the week that Texas ends the losing streak? Or will they continue their horrendous downward spiral and drop their fifth consecutive game?

It seems that if any Texas team were to lose to Kansas, this may be the one to do so. Steve Sarkisian and his staff have their hands full in taking this program to the next level, and all that’s left for this season is to make a bowl game.

There are a few unknowns going into this game whether it be the quarterback situation, key injuries that appear to be game-time decisions, or whether the defense can actually make adjustments.

The Longhorns should easily win this matchup as they’re favored by 30 points. Kansas has no business beating them. However, if Texas for some reason overlooks them, and is thinking about how bad of a team Kansas is, they will have a similar matchup as Oklahoma-Kansas. That would be the worst case scenario, as Texas isn’t good enough to win a game like that right now.

With the season on the line, and a handful of top recruits in attendance for the game, Texas badly needs this win. Here are four bold predictions that the Longhorns are hoping come true on Saturday.

Four bold predictions for Texas’ game against Iowa State

Time to be BOLD.

This weekend presents a matchup of teams that have majorly disappointed on the season, as both have found themselves on the outside looking in of the Big 12 standings.

Both Iowa State and Texas started the season ranked in every major poll, and it was widely believed that they would each have a chance to dethrone Oklahoma and possibly even compete nationally.

However, their performances this season have been far from those expectations. Iowa State lost two out of their first four games, and Texas is currently spiraling and in the middle of a three-game losing streak where they have blown a double-digit lead in each.

At this point, Texas’ season is all about saving face for recruits, and the dreaded time of “getting the seniors to a bowl game.”

If the Longhorns lose this game they will fall below .500, which would surely cause this very rational fan base to slightly overreact. In reality, Steve Sarkisian needs another year or so to get the program headed in the right direction, but the ways in which the team has lost has certainly seemed preventable.

It is time for my weekly bold predictions, in which I boisterously try to predict occurrences that will happen in Texas’ game against Iowa State.

10 Bold Predictions for the Oklahoma Sooners matchup with Texas Tech

As the Sooners look to improve to 9-0 on the season, here are 10 bold predictions for their matchup with the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

Despite how we feel about the Oklahoma Sooners through eight games, the reality is they’re an undefeated team. As years pass, that becomes an increasingly more difficult thing to do. It’s the first time in Lincoln Riley’s tenure as head coach that they’ve made it this deep into the season undefeated.

It can be easy to take wins for granted. To hear the great Toby Rowland tell it, fans were not happy with Oklahoma’s 66-59 win in the 2016 game vs. Texas Tech.

Because how you win still matters in college football, it’s easy to let the details of the win overtake the joy that your team won.

The Oklahoma Sooners are in the driver’s seat for a berth in the Big 12 Championship and still remain a favorite to make the College Football Playoff per FiveThirtyEight’s latest projections.

Heading into their matchup Saturday against Texas Tech, the Sooners are still looking for a complete team effort. Is this the week it comes?

As we wait to find out, here are 10 bold predictions for Oklahoma’s game vs. the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

5 bold predictions for Bears vs. 49ers

From Khalil Herbert’s continued success to a little trickery on Halloween, here are our bold predictions for Bears vs. 49ers.

When it comes to playing on Halloween, the Chicago Bears have actually been treated more than tricked. Since 2000, the Bears are 2-0 when playing on the spooky holiday.

Interestingly enough, one of those wins came against the San Francisco 49ers at Soldier Field. The two teams meet up again and hopefully the Bears can get into the spirit by dressing up as an offensive juggernaut. At least for one day, right?

Both teams are fighting to stay alive in the growing playoff race and are desperate for a win. And after they’ve played very interesting games over the years, it could set up for quite the afternoon on the lakefront. Here are my bold predictions for Sunday’s NFC matchup.

Four bold predictions for Texas football in 2022

What’s your BOLD prediction for Texas’ 2022 season?

While the 2021 season is far from over for Texas, the program is certainly headed in the right direction.

With a new head coach in town, it was expected to experience some bumps in the road, but the bumps that have happened thus far have been more painful than ones in the past. In two of the three losses that Texas has endured this season, they were up by double-digits and really had no business losing the game. The team sputtered in the second half, and the weaknesses were extremely exposed.

However, the Longhorns have shown signs of what is to come under Steve Sarkisian. At times, the offense has looked like one of the most dynamic offenses in the nation. The defense has a lot of room to grow, but when you consider the fact that these players are in their third system in three years, it is safe to assume that having the same defensive scheme for a full season and offseason will only help next season.

Most of all, this season has revealed that Texas has some star power on the team in sophomore running back Bijan Robinson, freshman receiver Xavier Worthy, and pass rusher Alfred Collins. The foundation for the team to take the next step is there, the staff and the players just need to build on the success they experience this year.

With that being said, here are four bold predictions for Texas’ 2022 season.

LSU Roundtable: Biggest bold prediction for 2022

We are offering up some hot takes on LSU Football.

[mm-video type=video id=01fjwy1pbn4367zc38fc playlist_id=01eqbz5s7cf4w69e0n player_id=none image=https://images2.minutemediacdn.com/image/upload/video/thumbnail/mmplus/01fjwy1pbn4367zc38fc/01fjwy1pbn4367zc38fc-65365920e1b2c0ea98ec4e6fecf8d2e8.jpg]

No game this week with the LSU Tigers enjoying the open date before heading to Tuscaloosa on Nov. 6 for a throwdown with Alabama. The Crimson Tide are currently the No. 3 ranked team in the country with their 7-1 record. LSU is 4-4 and looking to avoid their fourth loss in five games.

The open week is an opportunity for the Tigers to get right in several areas. The team needs time to rest some of their players and get healthier before their David vs Goliath battle with the Tide. Alabama has beat LSU by an average of 17.6 points in their last nine wins dating back to the 2012 BCS National Championship game. The lone Tigers victory came in 2019 when LSU escaped Tuscaloosa with the 46-41 victory.

There is plenty of time to get into the LSU-Alabama game next Saturday, for now, we will put a pin in that conversation. Instead, the staff looks further ahead, to 2022 to be exact. We offer our boldest take for next season.

First, Lance predicts a monumental victory next season.
