McNeese s horrific defensively, allowing 75.3 PPG to rank 315th in the nation, and it is allowing 47.0 FG%, which is 328th overall.

Tennessee ranks 10th in the nation, allowing just 55.3 PPG, and it has held opponents to just 36.7% from the field, good for 21st overall. McNeese will have a rough time scoring, whether James is in there or not.

Over/Under

OVER 133.5 (-105) is the lean, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see Tennessee flirt with the century mark against a bad Cowboys defense.

The Vols should have a season-high in offensive production in this one, as the Cowboys have been one of the worst Division I teams at the defensive end.

A DRAW (+350) is likely to not only get table-topper Poland through, but Argentina will likely get through with a draw, too.

Unless Mexico was to absolutely hammer Saudi Arabia, it’s unlikely to leap frog either of these teams. The only threat is Saudi Arabia, if it can pull another stunner and drop Mexico. That would put the pressure on Poland and Argentina to get through with a win. There will be a lot of scoreboard watching, as the matches are played simultaneously.

POLAND +2 (-160) is also worth a roll of the dice as it is unlikely to get its doors blown off. It’s a safe enough margin for Poland, which has a handful of high-octane offensive players to keep pace with Argentina.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 2.5 (-140) is the play as this match should be low scoring.

France 1, Tunisia 0

Moneyline (ML)

France (-260) will cost you more than 2 1/2 times your potential return, and that’s a lot of risk for not much reward.

Les Bleus simply needs a draw, or a point, to top the Group D table and advance. Even with a miraculous win by Tunisia, France likely still has enough in the goal differential column over Australia, or any of the other teams, to make its way through.

As such, it wouldn’t be surprising to see some of France’s stars rest for considerable chunks of this match. Can you imagine how disastrous it would be if Mbappe or Giroud went down with a long-term ailment in a match which is essentially meaningless?

As such TUNISIA +2 (-140) makes some sense on the 3-way spread. The Eagles play tremendous defense, and Tunisia could be facing France’s B squad for a good majority of the 2nd half, but Tunisia pushes and still has a lot to play for depending upon the result of the Australia-Denmark match.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 2.5 (+100) is a strong play at even money.

Tunisia just doesn’t have the firepower on offense, and France should be rather disinterested in pushing the tempo. Les Bleus could be satisfied with a draw, which gets them through, or a low-scoring win.

Either way, I think the shots on goal and scoring chances will be at a premium.

There may only be 20 players in the field this week for the 2022 Hero World Challenge, but it’s a field filled with marquee players. They’re down in the Bahamas for the Tiger Woods-hosted event, which is being held at Albany Golf Course for the 7th time.

Below, we search for the best value prop bets among the 2022 Hero World Challenge odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions.

The favorite to win this week is Jon Rahm (+500), who leads the latest Golfweek/Sagarin rankings. Scottie Scheffler, No. 4 in the rankings, has the 2nd-best odds (+750). Of the top 11 players in this week’s Sagarin rankings, 6 of them are in the field in Albany.

Albany Golf Course is a par 72 and plays at 7,414 yards. The winning score last year was 18-under by Viktor Hovland, who is at +1500 in his quest for back-to-back titles. Being a links-style course, the fairways are framed by waste areas, so there isn’t much rough to contend with.

Fitzpatrick is as well-rounded a player as there is right now, adding length off the tee in the last couple of years. He tied for 12th in his debut last year and now that he has some experience at Albany Golf Course, he should be even better suited for a run at the title this time around.

Cameron Young (-160)

There’s not a lot of value betting top-10s in this event because 19 of the 20 players in the field are -115 or shorter to finish inside the top 10. However, Young provides a little bit of value at -160 because of how he performs in big events, and because he’s tied for the 7th-longest odds to come in the top 10.

This is a matchup between the two favorites and while Rahm’s line is juiced a bit, he’s worth paying up for. He won his last start on the DP World Tour and has finished 1st and 2nd in his 2 starts in this event.

Matthew Fitzpatrick (-110) vs. Sam Burns (-110)

Going back to Fitzpatrick here at -110 against Burns. Burns has finished T-30 and T-7 in 2 starts this season, withdrawing his last time out at the Houston Open after sitting 6-over through 31 holes before inclement weather caused a delay and his subsequent withdrawal.

Thomas has the 4th-best odds on this bet, behind Scheffler (+380), Tony Finau (+480) and Xander Schauffele (+550). I’m tempted to take Finau because of how well he’s playing right now, but I’ll go Thomas at a course he’s had success before.

Matthew Fitzpatrick (+320)

In addition to Fitzpatrick, Hovland (+330), Sungjae Im (+330), Burns (+330 and Jordan Spieth (+380) make up this group. Fitzpatrick is the favorite, but only slightly. Group betting can be a good way to play this tournament with so few players in the field, especially getting Fitzpatrick at +320. All he has to do is beat 4 other golfers.

Bellarmine has played against tough competition all season, with games against Duke, Clemson, and UCLA all coming in the last 2 weeks. In none of those games did Bellarmine lose by 25, and while many would argue Kentucky is the best of those teams, I still don’t see this game being a 26+ point blowout by Kentucky. Feel confident betting that Kentucky doesn’t cover the spread in this game.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 139.5 (-110).

Bellarmine’s offense has consistently proven their ability to score 60+ points against teams that are significantly better than them. With a 60-point outing against UCLA and a 66-point outing against Clemson, if their offense can put up similar numbers in this matchup then the over should be easily covered. With Kentucky’s firepower they will be able to score at least 80 and while it will be close, the over should be covered in this game.

An experienced Marquette squad that plays even faster than Baylor, and can defend and leverage turnovers, is a solid leverage play here. The Bears struggle in defending triples, and that perhaps frees up the Eagles for a late-game cover if Baylor breaks fast.

This fast-tempo match-up already has a high total. However, Baylor’s ability to rebound at the offensive end and get to the free-throw line — and both sides’ ability to get some points off turnovers — make for a lean on an even-high score.
