Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito joked with Michael Keaton about Batman villainy during Oscars

HOLY OSCARS, BATMAN!

The co-stars of the 1990s comedy Twins (and Hollywood legends) Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito reunited at the 96th Academy Awards to present two Oscars for Visual Effects and Editing.

However, the two started their time on stage complaining about how, as two previous on-screen Batman villains, they could never get past the Caped Crusader.

DeVito played The Penguin in Batman Returns, while Schwarzenegger played Mr. Freeze in Batman and Robin.

Well, one of the most recognizable Batmans in the world, Michael Keaton, was in the crowd, and Schwarzenegger and DeVito took their villainous grievances right to Bruce Wayne himself to the delight of the crowd.

Seriously, how awesome was this? It’s really not every day that you get to see two former Batman villains finally get their opportunity to let a former Batman know what they really think in front of the world, but that’s what the Oscars are for!

This is one of those moments that makes us really grateful for the Academy Awards.

Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt hysterically roasted each other over Barbenheimer during 2024 Oscars

Okay, this was hilarious.

“Barbenheimer” was the biggest film event of 2023, and two of its central players had a blast ribbing each other over being in the rival films.

Emily Blunt, who played Kitty Oppenheimer in Oppenheimer, and Ryan Gosling, who played Ken in Barbie, both got a really fun moment in Sunday’s 96th Oscars ceremony while introducing a tribute to stunt workers.

The two roasted each other over their movies, as Oppenheimer has fared better at the awards but Barbie made more money and led the cultural conversation.

The two will be in this May’s The Fall Guy, and we’re already loving the chemistry these two have while joking with each other.

John Cena showed up naked to the Oscars, and we can’t un-Cena it

A naked John Cena was not on our bingo card.

John Cena seemingly presented the award for Best Costume Design at the Oscars while naked. Yes, NAKED.

Jimmy Kimmel and John Cena surprised the entire audience at the Academy Awards with the naked body of Cena. Kimmel was reminiscing about a previous Academy Awards moment when a man streaked across the stage. He then asks the audience, “Can you imagine if a nude man ran across the stage today?” At that point, Cena was supposed to streak across the stage but was “afraid” to do the deed.

Kimmel told him to stop making it weird. That’s when John slowly inched his way out to the podium, with only an envelope covering his nether region, to present the award for Best Costume Design. He fittingly opened his award presentation dialogue with “Costumes are so important.”

The order of awards for the 96th Oscars may have leaked

What order will the Academy Awards be given out tonight? We’ve got you covered.

Every year we tune into the Oscars and wonder if anyone actually knows the order of awards handed out. Well, aside from the people who are in the room where it happens.

The ceremony’s run of show is typically kept quiet to maximize viewership, but every once in a while the order leaks out on social media. It looked like that was the case last year, but the last few categories didn’t quite line up.

Well, here we are again watching the Academy Awards and again it appears the order has leaked. Best Actress and Best Actor will take their typical place towards the end of the show with Best Picture serving as the final category of the night.

There you have it — maybe. We’ll find out soon enough.

Who is Robert Downey Jr’s wife? Meet producer Susan Downey

Robert Downey Jr.’s wife Susan is a powerhouse figure in her own right in Hollywood.

Robert Downey Jr. has been making the rounds of the 2024 awards circuit thanks to his unforgettable performance in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. No matter which award ceremony, premiere, or other major event he’s attending, when you see Downey, you’ll usually see his wife Susan right beside him.

So who is Susan Downey? Her long and impressive career in the film industry began long before she met Robert Downey Jr., beginning back in the 1990s.

Born Susan Levin, Downey began her career in the film industry working for blockbuster producer Joel Silver’s production company Dark Castle Entertainment. In the early 2000s, she served as co-producer on several horror and action films, including Ghost Ship, Cradle 2 the Grave, and Gothika, the latter of which co-starred Robert Downey Jr. The two met during the production of the movie and were engaged later that year.

Gothika became the first of many projects the two would collaborate on, including 2005’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and 2009’s Sherlock Holmes.

Downey Jr. credits Susan with helping him get his issues with addiction under control and with the subsequent revitalization of his career in the late 2000s.

The couple have two children and will celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary in 2025.
