An NBA team composed of only Texas Longhorns

What would an NBA team look like if it was only composed of former Texas Longhorns currently in the NBA? Here is our starting five.

LaMarcus Aldridge, Forward/Center, San Antonio Spurs

LaMarcus Aldridge joined the Texas Longhorns in 2004-05 season out of Seagoville, Texas. He would wear the Burnt Orange for two years before being drafted second overall by the Chicago Bulls. As a Longhorn, Aldridge was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2006 and made the Big 12 All-Defensive team to go along with All-Big 12 first team honors.

Aldridge was immediately traded to the Portland Trailblazers after being drafted by Chicago. He player in Portland until 2015 when he joined the San Antonio Spurs. LMA has been named a NBA All-Star seven times, twice second team All-NBA, three times named to the third team All-NBA and the NBA’s All-Rookie team. In his career he has averaged 19.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He is best known for his fadeaway jump shot.
