D.J. Augustin, Point Guard, Orlando Magic
Augustin spent two seasons in Austin before making the jump in the NBA. He was consensus All-American in 2008. Also Augustin was first team Big 12 in 2008, second team in 2007 and Big 12 All-Rookie team. Prior to joining the NBA, Augustin was given the Bob Cousy Award that is given to the nation’s top point guard. In high school he was named a McDonalds All-American.
He has enjoyed a 13-year NBA career up to this point. He started out in Charlotte as a Bobcat but also has stops in Indiana, Toronto, Chicago, Detroit, Oklahoma City, Denver and currently Orlando. Over his career, D.J. has appeared in 856 games averaging 9.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
