5-star Georgia OT ready to make commitment

Five-star offensive tackle recruit Amarius Mims is ready to make his commitment. Will he pick UGA, Bama, or Tennessee?

Five-star offensive tackle recruit Amarius Mims released his top schools earlier in the year.  Mims is one of the top players in the class of 2021 and would be an excellent addition to Georgia’s recruiting class. Now, Mims is ready to make his commitment, which is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. today (Oct. 14).

Mims is six-foot-eight tall and weighs 315 pounds. He has an ideal size for an offensive tackle. The five-star plays high school football at Bleckley County and is from Cochran, Georgia.

Kirby Smart and the Dawgs would love for him to come to Athens. Georgia secured a commitment from the top tackle in the class of 2020. Matt Luke and the University of Georgia would love to continue their offensive line recruiting dominance.

Mims named his top six schools via his Twitter account:

Mims will decide between UGA, Alabama, Oklahoma, FSU, Tennessee and Auburn.

Will Mims join Georgia in the class of 2021? He’s projected to join the Dawgs at the moment. We’ll update you on his decision.
