Roschon Johnson – Running Back

With all the hype surrounding incoming freshman Bijan Robinson, many have seemingly forgotten about Roschon Johnson. The penciled in starter at the position at this time is Keontay Ingram, but he’s consistently dealing with nagging injuries.

New offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich’s scheme heavily utilizes multiple running backs. Johnson made the switch from quarterback to running back just before the season last year, now he’s had a full offseason of preparation to take the next step.

He played in all 13 games last season and oftentimes looked like the best back on the roster. He racked up 807 all-purpose yards and was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week twice. Coaches and trainers have spoke of him highly in regards to his footwork and size this offseason.
