Former Texas wide receiver Collin Johnson shared a video via Twitter on Saturday of himself excitedly putting on his new Jacksonville Jaguars jersey for the first time.

Johnson had an exciting weekend altogether. Not only did he receive the Jaguars jersey to try on for the first time, but he also announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Sara Machado.

The 6-foot-6-inch, 222-pound playmaker was selected by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft at No. 165 overall. He will wear No. 19 in Jacksonville as a rookie this season.

Johnson finished his collegiate career at Texas with the fifth-most receiving yards in school history with 2,624 yards. He added 15 touchdowns and 188 receptions.

While the Longhorns will certainly miss Johnson’s unique attributes and constant highlight reels of circus catches, it’s exciting to witness his career take off professionally.

He will provide an excellent red-zone target for young quarterback Gardner Minshew.
