No. 2 – Tylan Wallace
School: Oklahoma State
Classification: Senior
Career vs Texas: 15 catches for 305 yards, two touchdowns
The third and final member of the Oklahoma State three-headed trio, Tylan Wallace is coming back for his senior season after tearing his ACL. Injuring himself in practice, the former Bilentikof Award finalist comes back as the best receiver in the Big 12.
Before his 2019 was cut short, Wallace had 53 receptions for 903 yards and eight touchdowns. He has shown his full ability when playing in a full season, hauling in 1,491 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2018. His achievements were good enough to land him a spot on the AP’s second-team All-American.
Coming off an ACL tear is never easy, but Wallace began rehabbing his knee in April. When he comes back healthy and ready to play, Wallace is going to be a problem for the Longhorns. His career game came against Texas in 2018, when he had 222 yards and two touchdowns.
Quarterback Spencer Sanders is back for year two and has the supporting cast around him. The Oklahoma State offense is going to be high flying next season, with Wallace leading the way in the ariel attack.
