Texas travels to Kansas this week for a must-win game in order to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive.
The Longhorns must win their final two regular season games against Kansas and Baylor, while also needing Oklahoma State and Kansas State to lose one of their final two games. If that happens, Texas would face TCU in the Big 12 Championship game.
It’s not out of the realm for Oklahoma to defeat Oklahoma State on Saturday night, and West Virginia has a fair shot to surprise Kansas State as well. With that being said, Texas still needs to control what they can control.
Steve Sarkisian’s offense certainly needs a bounce-back performance after a horrendous showing against No. 4 TCU last week. Texas typically responds well after losses, but Kansas is a much-improved team over last season.
