Texas QB Sam Ehlinger among best interviews that NFL teams have had

NFL draft analyst Matt Miller mentioned three quarterbacks who are seemingly interviewing well ahead of the 2021 NFL draft.

Casual fans may not truly understand the type of player and person former Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger is.

He is a true leader on and off the field. The Longhorns were fortunate to have a player with such high character and role model attributes lead their football program over the last four years.

Ehlinger’s work ethic is hard to come by, and his relentless and competitive nature are what set him apart from others. He has the “it” factor.

In terms of his NFL draft stock, it’s all over the place. Last August, one analyst mentioned a particular NFL team had a preseason second-round grade on him. Now that we’re one week away from the 2021 NFL draft, it looks more likely he will fall to Day 3.

Still, Ehlinger is doing whatever he can to improve his draft stock. It should come as no surprise he is impressing NFL teams throughout the interview process.

On Wednesday, ESPN NFL draft analyst Matt Miller mentioned on Twitter that Ehlinger is one of the quarterbacks mentioned most in terms of the best interviews NFL teams have had.

Prior to competing in the Reese’s Senior Bowl in January, Ehlinger reached out to the executive director, Jim Nagy, to ask which coaching staff he would be working with in order to get an early start on tape study.

He possesses every attribute you’d want in a professional athlete. If his number is called, you can bet he’ll be ready.
