Wisconsin basketball on the bubble in ESPN’s first bracket of the offseason

The Badgers are on the outside in ESPN’s first bracket of the year

Is it too early to be a 2021-2022 bracketologist? Not for ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, who released his first bracket of the offseason on Tuesday.

Wisconsin basketball is expected to be firmly on the bubble, as Lunardi had the Badgers as part of his “next four out” in the initial bracket. While no Big Ten teams ended up on the 1-seed line, three conference foes were listed as 2 seeds: Purdue, Ohio State and Michigan.

The young Badgers will start the year with the expectations they will end up on the outside looking in come March.
