Notes out of the backfield

The whole 1-2 punch thing is coming into form for the Bills after Thursday’s scrimmage. Zack Moss was Zack Moss. Everyone there made note of his big play. He busted a run for 10-plus yards when he bowled over No. 3 safety Dean Marlowe with his shoulder. Marlowe is fine, but Moss is certainly coming as advertised with his physicality.

If you were counting, you noticed we missed mentioning an Allen passing touchdown in the last slide. Here’s what happened: It went to Devin Singletary. It looks like the Bills are looking to get Singletary in the open field so he can use his quick elusiveness to get the ball down the field. This tandem could be fun to watch. WROC-TV also mentioned that TJ Yeldon had a big rush for the backup offense in this one, about 25 yards.
