Other passing game notes

Naturally Allen didn’t do it alone in the air, we did have some others helping him even if Diggs couldn’t get in there to do so. The two guys that helped the most were reportedly two players we’ve mentioned in recent days: wideouts Andre Roberts and Gabriel Davis. Multiple reports indicate a passing touchdown for Roberts. He’s looking like a lock for the final 53-man roster in recent days. Roberts is still an All-Pro talent as a returner, but he also made the best catch of training camp recently as well.

And then…

it w…as another day of the week, so Davis naturally did well because he just also seems to. He did have a ball go off his hands which was intercepted by Siran Neal, however, questionable contact on the play per WROC-TV and no flag. But the outlet also reported that Davis had about six catches in the scrimmage for 60 yards. This rookie could really be factoring into things early and often for the Bills. John Brown was also credited with eight catches for 87 yards.
