The Buffalo Bills were defeated by the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 on Sunday Night Football.

The Bills (5-4) simply looked like the second-best team on the field against the Bengals (5-3) and that’s how the final score was reflected: A 24-18 defeat for Buffalo.

The game looked like it was going to be fireworks early, but both teams ended up getting stuck in the mud. Cincinnati were a little bit cleaner on the field and that made the difference in the end.

He tied for the team lead with eight tackles and defended two passes as well, one of which was nearly an interception.

The Bills made an alteration to their defense against the Patriots and it stuck for the rest of the game.

In the 29-25 loss, the Bills (4-3) decided to turn one of their linebacker positions over to Tyrel Dodson. Rookie third-round pick Dorian Williams started there next to Terrel Bernard, but it wasn’t for long.

In the second quarter, Williams was removed from the game in favor of Dodson. The veteran saw out the rest of the contest against the Patriots (2-5).

Bills head coach Sean McDermott did not deny at all that Williams was benched.

“We were giving up a few plays there at that position,” McDermott said.

The coach went on to express he still has confidence in Williams.
