Back in June, we covered Michigan State Basketball and Tom Izzo’s interest in dual sport athlete Trejuan Holloman. Around this time last year, he was offered by MSU to join the basketball team. Now, Holloman has also received an offer to play for MSU football.  Holloman announced the offer in a tweet Thursday afternoon.

Holloman, a 6-foot-1 165-pound cornerback, is a 3-star prospect and 247sports No. 39 CB in the 2022 class.  They also have him as the No. 2 prospect in the state of Minnesota.  He still attends Cretin Derham Hall.

This is his fourth football offer as mentioned in his tweet.  The other schools to offer him in football are Minnesota, Iowa and Iowa State.  Will Holloman choose basketball or football, or maybe be a dual-sport athlete?

Michigan State Basketball is putting in work when it comes to contacting 2022 prospects. Now, Tom Izzo and staff have contacted yet another Top-50 sophomore. According to Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers, the Spartans have been in contact with PG Trejuan Holloman.

Trejuan Holloman stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 165 pounds. He hails from Minneapolis, MN, and currently plays for Cretin Derham Hall High School.

According to 247Sports Composite Rankings, Holloman is the No. 3 prospect in all of MN in his class. Also, he is the 18th-ranked PG in the entire 2022 recruiting class.

Holloman is an excellent floor general. I’m talking elite court vision. Holloman makes behind the back passes in transition look like a walk in the park. He also boasts some serious hops.

The Spartans previously made an offer to Holloman back in October.
