The Packers have 17 free agents and roughly $24 million in cap space (pending an Aaron Rodgers move).

We’ll track all of the Packers’ moves in free agency over the next few weeks and months below:

Colts’ updated head coach tracker: Known candidates so far

An updated look at tracking the entire head coaching search for the Colts this offseason.

The Indianapolis Colts have begun their process of finding a new head coach for the 2023 offseason.

The search has been a joint effort between general manager Chris Ballard and owner Jim Irsay after they parted ways with former head coach Frank Reich halfway through the 2022 campaign.

We’ll be tracking all of the requests and interviews the Colts conduct throughout the entire search so be sure to keep refreshing this list as they come in.

Tracking every LSU player who declared for the 2023 NFL draft

Keeping track of the LSU players who have decided to move on to the next level.

With the 2022 season now behind us, it’s decision time for upperclassmen regarding whether they will enter the 2023 NFL draft, which begins on April 27 and runs through the 29th.

Players have until Monday to make their decisions known, and a number of LSU players have already done so. Some of these decisions were expected, while others came as a slight surprise.

The Tigers had 10 players drafted last year despite a 6-7 season, and though the number probably won’t reach quite that high this time around, there will still be a number of former LSU players who hear their names called.

Here’s a running tracker of the players who have decided to forego their remaining eligibility and declare for the draft so far. We’ll keep this page updated with any additional players who declare before Monday’s deadline.

2022-23 Transfer Portal Tracker: Quarterback

The names are flying into the portal — stay up to date with them ALL right here!

What can landing a quarterback get you? Look no further than USC, which landed former prized recruit [autotag]Caleb Williams[/autotag] shortly after Lincoln Riley’s arrival a year ago. All the sophomore has done is lead USC’s charge to a possible College Football Playoff appearance by having a Heisman Trophy-worthy season.

After sitting through nearly an entire season of [autotag]Drew Pyne[/autotag], a few things are clear: He plays his heart out each time he’s on the field. He clearly loves Notre Dame. His teammates love him. And his ceiling simply isn’t high enough to help the Irish win big. Combine that with inexperience and injury issues to Notre Dame’s other quarterbacks, and it’s easy to see why the Irish appear headed to the portal to bring in a quarterback for 2023.

Here is the updated list of quarterbacks who have entered the transfer portal since August. Some have chosen new programs; the vast majority have not.

Keep track of all the movement and names of potential quarterbacks for your favorite teams below.

Note: Players are sorted by the date they entered the portal

Stetson Bennett, Anthony Richardson rocket up Heisman board after strong openers (but Bryce Young is the new favorite)

Bryce Young is looking to make it two years in a row, but the early competition is giving him quite a challenge.

Each week this college football season, BetFTW will take a look at the 2022 Heisman Trophy race and break down the contenders. Check back each Monday as the best college football players in the country jockey for position with both oddsmakers and bettors. Preseason odds can be found here.

Week 1 is in the books and already we’ve seen some wild movement across the board. Most notably, Georgia’s Stetson Bennett went from a fringe play (+10000) to a near-favorite (+2000), while Florida’s redshirt sophomore QB Anthony Richardson played his way from 13th-best odds before the season (+4000) to tied for third-best (+2000).

Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, meanwhile, is no longer alone at the top. Alabama’s Bryce Young is now tied with the Buckeyes’ QB at +300 as the Crimson Tide star looks to become the first repeat Heisman Trophy winner since Archie Griffin in 1974-75.

Let’s get into it.

Tracking Saints’ practice squad signings and roster moves

Tracking Saints’ practice squad signings and roster moves. Check this space often for instant analysis:

Several hundred NFL players received bad news on Tuesday with teams filing roster cuts, but a good number of them are getting another chance to hang on with practice squads across the league. That includes the New Orleans Saints, who released six players and waived a dozen others — and who know turn their attention towards filling out the 16-man practice squad.

As we’ve discussed before, up to six of those spots can be filled by veteran players with more than two accrued seasons (defined as at least six games played in a single year). The other spots are filled by first- and second-year pros. And most of them will be players who were just let go on Tuesday, only to re-sign with New Orleans on Wednesday. But there may be some newcomers.

And the Saints will be busy processing various transactions for injuries and shuffling the depth chart, so the 53 players under contract Tuesday afternoon will be different come kickoff with the Atlanta Falcons in a week and a half. So we should anticipate some movement beyond practice squad additions. Here’s everything we know so far:

Tracking Packers practice squad additions to start 2022

An updating list of the practice squad signings made by the Packers to start the 2022 season.

The Green Bay Packers can start signing players to the practice squad after the waiver period ends on Wednesday. All NFL teams can carry 16 players on the practice squad during the 2022 season.

The Packers released 19 players and waived six others with injuries on Tuesday, but many will return to Green Bay on the practice squad. Once the practice squad is filled, a 53-man initial roster will turn into a complete 69-player team.

Follow along as Packers Wire tracks all the additions made to the practice squad on Wednesday:
