With camp fast approaching, we’re looking at the best Eagles-related content on Twitter and who fans and experts should follow.

Looking at the Eagles biggest offseason standout

Looking at the Eagles’ biggest offseason standout, and under-the-radar player to know

The Eagles shook things up in the NFC after a blockbuster trade that saw A.J. Brown traded away from the Titans to Philadelphia for a first-round pick.

The move adds another standout weapon for Jalen Hurts and the trickle-down impact of production should help DeVonta Smith, Quez Watkins, and Zach Pascal flourish as well.

Watkins was already headed for a breakout campaign, and ESPN’s Tim McManus just named the third-year wideout as the Eagles’ biggest offseason standout, and under-the-radar player to watch heading into training camp.

The third-year wideout made some splash plays this spring, including a 40-plus yard touchdown catch during OTAs that prompted quarterback Jalen Hurts to break out in dance. The bulk of the buzz on Watkins, though, is coming from the coaching staff and management. They talk him up every chance they get, believing he has the tools to be a highly productive receiver. Finding targets for him could be the biggest issue with A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert all needing the rock, but Watkins is going to be in the mix. — Tim McManus

Watkins has quickly surpassed Jalen Reagor on the depth chart, and it’ll be on both Shane Steichen (OC) and Nick Sirianni (HC) to keep him engaged in the offense with creativity.

Watkins should face the opposition’s third-best cornerback or cover guy, providing plenty of opportunities to be on the receiving end of deep balls from Jalen Hurts.

What they’re saying nationally about Eagles after 13-7 loss to the Giants

After the #Eagles 13-7 loss to the #Giants, the National Reaction is what you’d expect it to be for #FlyEaglesFly

The Giants got a much-needed win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and the national media reaction has been harsh, to say the least.

A week after the Birds were lauded for their NFL best rushing attack, critics and pundits were ruthless with their assessment of Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia offense after the quarterback tossed three interceptions, the Eagles had four forced turnovers, and the Giants held the visiting team to a season-low in points in the 13-7 beating.

Here’s what they’re saying nationally about the Eales.

As the Eagles prepare to move on from quarterback Carson Wentz, ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen are reporting that the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts are among the organizations showing the most interest.

The Eagles asking price for Wentz is two first-round picks according to some reports and it may cause some organizations to shy away from an offer.

Per the report, a potential Wentz trade has been in motion for over a week now, with Philadelphia engaging in trade conversations shortly after Matthew Stafford was sent from Detroit to Los Angeles.

Wentz’s departure would leave the Eagles with a $34 million dead cap charge, as well as one quarterback on the roster.

The Philadelphia Eagles whiffed in the 2020 NFL Draft according to experts and pundits, who cite passing on Justin Jefferson and the selection of Jalen Hurts, as the downfall for Doug Pederson.

ESPN had their NFL Nation reporters re-draft the first two rounds — all 64 picks — using the knowledge of how the season turned out for each rookie.

After watching the Eagles implode in the secondary time after time, Tim McManus went with Jaguars’ talented rookie cornerback C.J. Henderson, passing on Jalen Reagor.

21. Philadelphia Eagles
Original pick: Jalen Reagor, WR
New pick: CJ Henderson, CB

Henderson fell down the board mainly because he was limited to eight games with a groin injury. But he was the second corner taken in the real draft for a reason. Henderson has elite speed and athleticism, is a playmaker, and would fill a void at the starting cornerback spot opposite Darius Slay. There’s an argument to stick with Reagor, who was limited by injury his rookie year but still has plenty of upside, but there’s enough depth at WR to address the position later in the draft. — Tim McManus

With their second-round pick, McManus erases Howie Roseman’s perceived mistake, getting Carson Wentz a weapon instead of competition with the No. 53 overall pick, landing former Texas speedster, Devin Duvernay.

53. Philadelphia Eagles
Original pick: Jalen Hurts, QB
New pick: Devin Duvernay, WR

Duvernay did a little of everything for Baltimore this season, making an impact as a receiver (20 catches, 201 yards), a runner (4 carries, 70 yards) and a kick returner, where he finished with 578 yards, including a 93-yarder. The Eagles would welcome that kind of versatility to their attack. — Tim McManus

In the re-draft, Reagor falls down to No. 30 overall, while the talented Hurts becomes the Colts quarterback of the future after he goes to Indianapolis at No. 44 overall.
