The Texas Longhorns (3-0) travel to meet the Baylor Bears (1-2) on Saturday at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC). Below, we look at Texas vs. Baylor odds from FanDuel Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s college football picks and predictions.

The Longhorns had one of the signature wins of the season, posting a 34-24 victory at Alabama on Sept. 9 as 7-point underdogs as the Over (53) cashed. Texas had a bit of a hangover Saturday at the DKR in Austin, and it was tied 10-10 against Wyoming after 3 quarters before pulling away for the 31-10 victory.

The Bears have struggled mightily, falling 42-31 in the opener against Texas State, while losing starting QB Blake Shapen to an MCL injury. He is a huge question mark for Saturday’s game, as originally he was expected to miss 2-3 weeks. Baylor won its 1st game of the season against Long Island of the FCS 30-7, but it came nowhere near covering the 45-point number.

The last meeting was an overtime thriller in Austin with Texas squeaking out a 78-76 home victory in the 2nd round of the 2019 NIT. The Longhorns would go on to win 3 more games in that NIT to claim the crown.

For the Musketeers, this is their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2018 when they were eliminated as the Midwest’s top seed in the 2nd round by 9th-seeded Florida State. Xavier last made the Sweet 16 in 2017 when it upset 2nd-seeded Arizona as an 11 seed.

Texas has never reached the National Championship game, losing in the semifinals 3 times (1943, 1947 and 2003).

First look: Baylor at Texas odds and lines

Looking at Friday’s Baylor at Texas college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Baylor Bears (6-5, 4-4 Big 12) and No. 24 Texas Longhorns (7-4, 5-3) meet Friday at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (ESPN). Below, we look at Baylor vs. Texas odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our college football picks and predictions.

Rankings courtesy of the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

The Bears suffered a gut-wrenching 29-28 loss at home against unbeaten TCU Saturday. Baylor has lost its last 2 games, but it is 4-1 ATS across its last 5 outings. The Under has cashed in consecutive games after a 5-0 Over streak from Oct. 1 to Nov. 5.

The Longhorns roughed up the Kansas Jayhawks Saturday, winning 55-14 in Lawrence as 9-point favorites. RB Bijan Robinson finished with a career-high 243 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, keeping Texas’ faint Big 12 Championship Game hopes alive.

Texas trails Kansas State by 1 game with 1 game remaining, but it holds the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Wildcats, so the Longhorns will be big Kansas fans this weekend while also obviously needing a win against Baylor.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET. (ABC). Below, we look at Texas vs. Oklahoma State odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our college football picks and predictions.

After 4 seasons of unequal play, QB Spencer Sanders is finally living up to what the coaching staff at Oklahoma State were hoping for him. After leading the Cowboys to a 5-0 start, the team came up just short in a 43-40 double-overtime loss to TCU Saturday. This, despite jumping out to a 14-0 lead after the first 2 drives of the game resulted in TDs for Oklahoma State. A second half that saw the Cowboys only score 3 points led to the Horned Frogs being able to come back and eventually win the game.

Coming off a 49-0 rout of rival Oklahoma, Texas was in a prime spot for a letdown against Iowa State Saturday. It did just that, barely pulling off the 24-21 victory. QB Quinn Ewers is still a redshirt freshman. To avoid any mistakes, the Longhorns relied on RB Bijan Robinson to carry the load in the crucial parts of the game. Being that Robinson is one of the top backs in the country, this worked well. But the Cowboys are much different than the Cyclones. The Longhorns will need Ewers in this game if they hope to win.

Texas vs. Oklahoma State head-to-head

Over the past 4 seasons, these teams have played each year. Both teams have won 2 games apiece.

In these games, not once has either team scored less than 24 points, and the winner has not scored less than 32 points in any game.

With Sanders and Ewers leading the way, this looks like it is on its way to another high-scoring game between the 2 teams in Stillwater. This year, it also looks like this will be a close matchup as Texas and Oklahoma State are near the top of the Big 12 with hopes of making to the conference championship game. The loser of this game will likely fall out of contention with 2 losses in conference.

Looking at Saturday’s Texas at Oklahoma college football odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Texas Longhorns (3-2, 1-1 Big 12) will take on the Oklahoma Sooners (3-2, 0-2 Big 12) Saturday at the Cotton Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (ABC). Below, we look at Texas vs. Oklahoma odds from Tipico Sportsbook; check back for all our college football picks and predictions.

The Longhorns enter Saturday’s game after beating West Virginia in Week 5 following an overtime loss to Texas Tech in Week 4. There’s a chance that Texas could get QB Quinn Ewers back against Oklahoma after he’s missed 3 games with a shoulder injury.

The Sooners have lost 2 straight games to Big 12 opponents Kansas State and TCU to fall to 3-2 on the season. It remains to be seen if QB Dillon Gabriel will suit up for Oklahoma after taking a hard hit to the head against TCU.
