Texas had a bit of a hangover Saturday at the DKR in Austin, and it was tied 10-10 against Wyoming after 3 quarters before pulling away for the 31-10 victory.
The Bears have struggled mightily, falling 42-31 in the opener against Texas State, while losing starting QB Blake Shapen to an MCL injury. He is a huge question mark for Saturday’s game, as originally he was expected to miss 2-3 weeks. Baylor won its 1st game of the season against Long Island of the FCS 30-7, but it came nowhere near covering the 45-point number.
