Four-star quarterback Maalik Murphy headlines Texas’ 2022 recruiting class and is one of 20 quarterbacks competing in the Elite 11 competition. The camp will take place at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California starting the evening of June 30 through July 3.
This is the 23rd Elite 11 to take place and the quarterbacks that will eventually be chosen as the newest members will likely have a promising future. In fact, 12 of the past 13 quarterbacks to win the Heisman Trophy attended the Elite 11 Finals or an Elite 11 Regional. It is also a step in the right direction to having a promising NFL career, as there have been many quarterbacks that once graced this camp get a shot in the league.
Murphy expressed his excitement via Twitter on Tuesday night.

It may only be day one, but the competition for the MVP starts as soon as the players check in.
