BREAKING: 4-star DL Terrance Green commits to Oregon Ducks

Blue-chip addition for Dan Lanning and the Ducks. 4-star DL Terrance Green announced his commitment to Oregon.

The Oregon Ducks added another blue-chip player to the 2023 recruiting class on Monday, picking up a commitment from 4-star defensive lineman Terrance Green.

Green, rated as the No. 40 DL in the 2023 class, is Oregon’s first blue-chip player on the defensive line in this recruiting cycle for the Ducks.

Standing at 6-foot-5, 265-pounds, Green is rated as the No. 300 overall player in the class, per 247Sports. He will join 3-star Tevita Pome’e and 3-star Teitum Tuioti on the DL in this class.

The commitment does not come as a major surprise for the Ducks, who have been the front-runners in his commitment for a while now, with several Crystal Ball predictions for his to choose Oregon. Now, after a successful Saturday Night Live recruiting event, the Ducks should prepare for more incoming commitments as they ramp up for the start of the 2022 season.

Four-star defensive lineman Terrance Green revealed on Tuesday that he’ll announce his college commitment on Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. EST. Green hails from Cypress, Texas and is considering Michigan State, Oregon, Florida, Texas and Miami (FL).

Green ranks as the No. 300 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2023 class. He’s also listed as the No. 44 defensive lineman in the class.

At the moment, Green is projected to commit to the Oregon Ducks on 247Sports. A trio of recruiting insiders — including Steve Wiltfong — have crystal ball predictions for Green to Oregon but we will find out for sure next week when he makes things official.

The Ducks will find out in the coming days if they can add another blue-chip prospect to their defensive line in the 2023 class.

In the coming days, the Oregon Ducks will find out whether or not they are adding a blue-chip player to their defensive line in the 2023 recruiting class.

On Tuesday afternoon, Texas 4-star DL Terrance Green announced his commitment date, stating that he would be making his college decision on August 1st, which is next Monday.

Green, who stands at 6-foot-5, 265 pounds, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 44 DL and No. 300 overall player in the 2023 class.

According to the Crystal Ball Predictions on 247Sports, Oregon is currently the heavy favorite to land Woods, with three predictions, one of which comes from Director of Football Recruiting Steve Wiltfong.

Already in the 2023 class, the Ducks have 3-star DL Tevita Pome’e, and 3-star Teitum Tuioti.

The four-star Cypress native is set to announce his commitment on Aug. 1. He will pick between his top five schools of Florida, Michigan State, Miami, Oregon and Texas.

Green is listed as the No. 44 defensive lineman in the nation and just outside the state of Texas’ top 50 prospects according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

At 6-foot-5, 265-pounds, Green was a problem for opposing offenses at Cypress Woods High School his junior season. He racked up 40 total tackles including 11.5 for loss and six sacks. Green also competes in high school track and field events during the offseason.

Three crystal balls are currently entered for Green in favor of the Oregon Ducks. He took an official visit Eugene in June and came away impressed.

The Oregon Ducks are the favorites to land 4-star DL Terrance Green after picking up two predictions over the weekend.

The Oregon Ducks added the marquee member of their 2023 recruiting class last week, landing five-star Dante Moore, the highest-ranked quarterback in school history.

Now we can expect more recruiting dominoes to fall as fellow players choose to join the movement that is going on in Eugene.

According to a couple of recent predictions, four-star defensive lineman Terrance Green is likely to choose the Ducks in the coming weeks. Over the weekend, Steve Wiltfong from 247Sports placed a crystal ball prediction for Green to commit to the Ducks, as did On3 Sports.

Rated by 247Sports as the No. 39 DL in Texas and No. 246 player in the 2023 class, Green would be a great addition to Oregon’s defensive front.

Michigan State football makes 4-star DL Terrance Green’s top-five

A 4-star defensive lineman has featured Michigan State in his top five:

Michigan State has had a very busy month of June when it comes to recruiting. Their momentum hasn’t stopped and seems to only be getting stronger. The momentum continued when 4-star defensive lineman Terrance Green included Michigan State in his top five. Green spent the June 10-12 weekend in East Lansing on an official visit and the Spartans seemed to have made a big impression on the lineman.

Green is a native of Cypress, Texas, where he attends Cy Woods High School. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Green ranks as a 4-star prospect as the No. 289 overall recruit in the 2023 class.

Florida, Texas, Oregon and Miami were also featured in the lineman’s top five, along with Michigan State.

Four-star defensive end Terrance Green is rated the No. 49 defensive lineman in the country for the 2023 recruiting class and the No. 55 overall recruit in the Lone Star State in 247Sports composite rankings. He has an impressive offer list including the likes of Auburn, Baylor, Florida, Texas, USC and over 20 others.
