Georgia football advanced to 10-1 with a win over Texas A&M on Saturday night.
With that win, Georgia closed out SEC play with a record of 7-1 and looks to advance to an overall 11-1 mark with a win over Georgia Tech on Saturday.
The Bulldogs, who will have a chance to take home the SEC Championship for the second time in three years two weeks from now vs LSU, will enjoy their win over the Aggies before getting back to work for Tech.
The game was not pretty at all. The offense played, well, poorly – aside from Rodrigo Blankenship that is.
But the Georgia strategy, as frustrating and questionable as it may be, has worked.
What’s that strategy, you ask?
Play great defense and just good enough offense.
Here are some social media reactions to the Georgia win:
During his last football game Between the Hedges, Hot Rod became the all time leader in points scored at Georgia, and the 2nd most in SEC historyđȘ pic.twitter.com/WxIELMXAwX

Georgiaâs dream to win the national championship while not allowing anyone to enjoy a single second of a football game theyâre playing in….itâs still alive

Georgia's D has played 64 snaps today. The most is 83 vs Auburn, 2nd is 73 vs South Carolina in OT.
The offense's inability to move the ball is causing the defense to stay on the field and get tired.
This is why, even in a win, some of us are harsh on the offensive playcalling.

Complain all you want, the game was never in doubt and the committee looks at game control. Win and keep moving on. https://t.co/My7qKWrXZK

The Georgia Bulldogs improve to 10-1. Texas A&M finished with -1 rushing yards on 20 carries. Georgia has the scariest defense in the nation. pic.twitter.com/R6K5zsm7gm

Bama has no impressive wins and is now starting an unproven back up and Georgia while winning has been very underehelming. My opinion could change by next week but as or right now Oregon is my number 4 pending tonight's performance. #CFBPlayoff #NCAAF

In his last three games Jake Fromm is a combined 37 of 80 (46.25%) for 446 yards (5.58 yards per attempt) and his team is 3-0 against three conference foes who were ranked at some point this year. Makes ya think, ya know?

1) We will miss Hot Rod
2) I donât know that I have ever seen a team with only 12 1st downs win
3) If UGA only gets 12 1st downs against LSU it will be an ugly baby
4) The defense is Natty worry
5) The offense is awful

All you haters can suck it. We are gonna Crush Tech. Then we get Cager back vs LSU and Lets Goooo! #Win #Dawgs

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief now. Glad that UGA won but they just need to get the kinks out of this offense. Blessed that we have a great defense though. Theyâve been playing their tails off this whole season. Ugly win but itâs a win. Go Dawgs, and to Hell with Tech!
