Alabama MBB offers 2025 5-Star SG Isiah Harwell

2025 shooting guard Isiah Harwell received an offer from Alabama on Tuesday. Harwell is one of the highest-rated recruits in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Shooting guard Isiah Harwell of the 2025 recruiting class recently received an offer from Alabama.

Harwell plays for Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah. The Tigers finished last season with a 14-10 record.

He fits the profile of a wing player in Nate Oats’ system. As far as stature, he is the same size as Alabama guard Rylan Griffen. Both Harwell and Griffen are listed at 6-foot-5, 180 pounds.

Griffen is primarily used as a three-point shooter but can attack the rim when needed. Harwell does a good job of shooting from deep as well as knocking down mid-range shots.

Alabama MBB offer 2025 PG from Florida Jalen Reece

Alabama basketball continues to try and do some damage on the recruiting trail!

The Alabama men’s basketball program has emerged onto the scene on the hardwood as well as in the recruiting landscape. Nate Oats and his staff have prioritized the ability to build the foundation of their program by way of recruiting high school talent.

The coaching staff extended an offer to 2025 point guard Jalen Reece. Interestingly enough, he is the first point guard to have received an offer from the Tide in the 2025 recruiting cycle.

His recruitment will likely heat up heading into his senior season. With Alabama extending an early offer, it should help their chances of landing the Florida native.

With Alabama having a lot of success while in-season, it could help the coaching staff pursue some of the more elite prospects across the country. Elohim has some time to make a decision. It will be interesting to see where he visits before committing.

2024 SG Elijah Moore lists Alabama in top 5

2024 shooting guard Elijah Moore revealed his top five schools on Tuesday via Twitter. The New York native listed Alabama as a finalist.

Alabama extended an offer to 2024 shooting guard Elijah Moore on Tuesday. He would later list the Tide as a finalist in his recruitment on Tuesday evening.

Moore is from the Bronx, New York. That is worth noting because Alabama assistant coach Brian Hodgson has been able to recruit in that area particularly well. He coached under Nate Oats at Buffalo and has since continued to recruit the state at a high level.

When asked why Alabama was included as a finalist, here is what Moore told On3’s, Joe Tipton:

They just want to win and send kids to the pros. I want to be a pro. They talk to me about their belief in me and what I can do. I really love the school’s environment and can’t wait to get out there to see what’s up. Coach Bryan (Hodgson) is a cool guy who gives a certain energy that I can feed off.

Tipton also went on to note that the expectation is that Moore will take an official visit to Alabama on January 24. However, that has not been confirmed by Moore at this point.

This was a massive addition to Nate Oats’ recruiting class. He has great size at 6-foot-5, 180 pounds. In Alabama’s system, he could play either the two or three depending on how the coaching staff feels when he arrives on campus.

Other early signees for the Tide were Mouhamed Dioubate, Sam Walters, and R.J. Johnson. It will be interesting to see how each signee performs during their senior seasons at their respective high school.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Alabama basketball recruiting news.

The coaching staff has emphasized beginning the recruiting process earlier than normal for highly-coveted prospects. Texas Basketball Recruiting: Five-star SG Keyonte George releases top five schools

Chris Beard is looking to land one of the top guards in the country. Five-star Keyonte George released his top five, with UT making the cut.

Chris Beard has gone big game hunting in the recruiting scene during his early days at Texas. Shaka Smart signed two of the top 10 prospects that Texas basketball has ever signed, but both were big men, Mo Bamba and Greg Brown III.

Now, Beard is looking for the top guards in the country. Luckily, the No. 1 shooting guard in the 2022 class resides in the state of Texas. Keyonte George is the top shooting guard in the cycle and released his top five schools Thursday morning.

Four of the five are Big 12 schools: Baylor, Kansas, Oklahoma State and Texas made the cut. Kentucky and John Calipari are the one outsider.

George has a 247Sports crystal ball to turn professional and play in the G League. With his newly released top five, the five-star prospect has made it clear he plans to choose the college route.

Texas Tech was thought to be an option; he took an unofficial visit to Lubbock in Feb. 2020. With Beard in Austin, Texas will have an excellent chance to land the top in-state 2022 player.
