Former Eagles and Raiders WR Nelson Agholor agrees to a deal with the New England Patriots

The Patriots are filling their roster with former Eagles and just hours after agreeing to a deal with Jalen Mills, former Eagles first-round pick and Raiders wideout, Nelson Agholor, will join New England as a free agent as well.

Agholor was selected by the Eagles in the first round with the 20th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft and he’s coming off a breakout season in Las Vegas.

Agholor logged a 48-catch season with 896 yards and eight touchdowns and an average of 18.7 yards per reception, giving Cam Newton a deep threat that was sorely lacking in 2021.

Jags come to terms with former Eagles safety Rudy Ford

The Jags came a third agreement since the tampering period. This time it was special teamer Rudy Ford.

After agreeing to a deal with Jamal Agnew, the Jacksonville Jaguars came to terms with another player who could help them on special teams in former Philadelphia Eagles safety Rudy Ford. Per NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero, he will be joining the Jags on a two-year deal worth $4.2 million.

Ford, 26, was initially drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was a sixth-round pick for them, but was eventually traded to the Eagles in 2018 for defensive lineman Bruce Hector.

Ford will join the Jags after participating in 41 games and registering two career starts. According to Eagles Wire, he ranked sixth in Philly in terms of special teams snaps with 213 (47%) and was tied for the sixth-highest total in terms of special teams tackles with five.

After Jalen Mills inked a deal with New England, Rudy Ford is now heading to Jacksonville.

Ford was acquired by Philadelphia in a trade with Arizona during the 2019 preseason and played a key role on the Eagles’ special teams units that season.

Ford ranked sixth on the roster in special teams snaps (213, 47 percent) and tied for the sixth-most special teams tackles (5).

Peters went on injured reserve with a foot injury just before the 49ers game. Jordan Mailata has started at left tackle in each of the past four contests.

Reagor suffered a thumb injury in the Week 2 Rams game and with DeSean Jackson likely to go on Injured Reserve with a lower-body injury, Reagor is returning at a perfect time. Reagor has five catches for 96 yards, including a 55-yard reception in Week 1.
