Puma Golf has been a leader in golf footwear and they are making strides in 2023 early with the release of their new Ignite Elevate golf shoe.

This Elevate shoe will be an addition to the already popular Ignite family by Puma. The shoe has been designed to add additional comfort, functionality and stability into the spikeless shoe.

Puma Golf announces new Ignite Articulate golf shoe

Puma Golf has released its new Ignite Articulate spiked golf shoe. Puma says it developed this shoe to meet a new standard of support.

Puma Golf has released a new Ignite Articulate spiked golf shoe. According to representatives of the company this shoe was developed to meet a new standard of support. This all-new design features an articulating outsole, midsole and upper that flexes with your foot as you walk, swing or chase down the beverage cart.

This shoe has been seen on Puma ambassadors Bryson DeChambeau and Gary Woodland over the past few months. The shoe design provides extreme comfort from an athletic, lightweight silhouette.

The spiked shoe features an 8-cleat traction pattern to increase traction and stability. The Articulating Pwrcage is a strong, thin saddle across the mid foot that allows the cage to fit any foot shape comfortably and bring a new level of support.

Puma Ignite Fasten8 shoes

Puma’s newest golf shoes feature a new lateral support system, plenty of midsole cushioning and a waterproof upper.

Puma has been at the forefront of footwear trends for years, featuring bold colors, aggressive styles and unique designs that look great while they keep golfers firmly in place during the golf swing. With the release of the new Ignite Fasten8 family of shoes, the brand of choice for Bryson DeChambeau, Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson shows it has new ways to help boost stability while maintaining underfoot cushioning.

At the heart of the Fasten8 line is a new fitting system that consists of eight interior web straps that reach up from under the player’s foot and integrate into the lacing system. When you tighten the laces or the disc-operated ratcheting system, the straps form to the sides and upper portion of your foot. At the same time, the thermoplastic polyurethane saddle designed on the outside of the shoe, which Puma calls PWRCAGE, tightens around your foot too. Working together, the Fasten8 straps and PWRCAGE help to boost lateral stability.

The spikeless outsole has been made with numerous traction elements on the bottom to provide grip, both on and off the course. Puma added Ignite foam in the midsole to increase cushioning and return energy to your body with every step.

Finally, to keep your feet dry, the Ignite Fasten8 has been made with a non-stretch, breathable mesh in the upper that features a TPU film. After being applied to the shoe, it forms a seal around the upper that keeps water out and allows golfers to quickly clean off dirt and mud.

The Ignite Fasten8 Pro has a waterproof leather upper and comes in five colorways for $120, while the women’s Ignite Fasten8 is available in sizes 5.5-12 in four colors for $100.

Rickie Fowler to use new Arnold Palmer inspired gear by Puma at Bay Hill

See the limited edition, Arnold Palmer-inspired shoes, bags, hats and accessories that Rickie Fowler will use at Bay Hill.

Whenever golfers hear the words “bay” and “hill” together, they are going to immediately think of Arnold Palmer, and that’s not going to change. The King passed away in 2016 and no current player pays homage to Palmer, and what he meant to golf, more visibly than Rickie Fowler. In addition to competing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational several times, and again this week, for the past few seasons Fowler has teamed with Cobra-Puma Golf to create limited-edition gear that pays tribute to Palmer.

That tradition continues this week at Bay Hill, and golf fans will have a chance to buy some of the same gear on Puma’s website and at select retailers, Puma has also announced people who make a donation to the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation this week will have a chance to win a trip to the Bay Hill Club and Lodge in Orlando to play the course, tour Palmer’s office and received Fowler-autographed gear. Palmer loved to fly so much that he got a pilot’s license and logged over 20,000 hours of flight time. The Puma Proadapt Palmer shoes ($250) not only offer lots of lateral stability and traction but honor Palmer’s favorite plane, the Cessna 750 Citation X. On the medial side, N1AP has been added, which was the tail number on Palmer’s plane and his signature has been added to the sock liner.
