WATCH: Bills players play ‘Pizza Log Roulette’

Buffalo Bills players recently took some time to have some fun in their practice facility.

The team was able to enjoy one of the City of Buffalo’s finest treats. No, we’re not talking about buffalo wings with blue cheese or beef on weck. We’re talking about pizza logs.

Players such as Dawson Knox, Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and others spun a wheel to determine which flavor of pizza log they would try.

Spencer Brown on which player Bills fans should not overlook

Spencer Brown on which player Bills fans should not overlook:

Spencer Brown is a big fan of his linemate.

Brown appeared on the “Centered on Buffalo” podcast with Eric Wood and had nothing but good things to say about a guy who makes his life easier.

Brown lines up at right tackle and 2023 second-round pick O’Cyrus Torrence is next to him at guard. And what Brown says makes sense.

Most NFL draft pundits expected Torrence to be a first-round selection in 2023. He was not and fell to the Bills at No. 59 overall.

Brown was asked about a player that might be “overlooked” by fans and Torrence was the one he named. Brown’s reasoning was based on how seamlessly Torrence translated his game from college to the pros.

Think about it, did you complain about Torrence much as a rookie? Few did, and Brown was not one of them.

Money is nice:

Three players on the Buffalo Bills have earned three top-25 performanced-based pay distribution bonuses from the NFL for their efforts during the 2023 NFL season.

All of the bonuses handed out to players is based on their snap counts and salaries. In many cases, the bump in cash goes to players still on their lower rookie contract salaries which is the case with the Bills trio.

  • OL O’Cyrus Torrence: $847,180

Best photos from rookie season of Bills 2023 draft class

Best photos from rookie season of #Bills 2023 draft class:

The Buffalo Bills did not have the biggest of draft classes in 2023 but their haul from it ended up being an impactful one.

At the top, tight end Dalton Kincaid slowly came along during his first year in the pros after being a first-round pick. Then as a surprise selection in Round 2, offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence became a Day 1 for Buffalo.

On the flip side, some players from the Bills’ recent draft class were even too good to stick around. The likes of seventh rounder Nick Broeker now lines up on the Houston Texans’ offensive line after Buffalo had to cut Broeker and try to get him on their practice squad.

Following the conclusion of all six draft picks’ first year in the NFL, here are some of the top photos of each from their first season in 2023:

Report card: Bills top Steelers, 31-17

Report card: #Bills top #Steelers, 31-17:

The Buffalo Bills have worked their way through the Pittsburgh Steelers and are now onto the Divisional round of the AFC postseason.

Buffalo put together an effort that was strong throughout the contest. But not all three phases. While not a team that has covered the spread often this season, Pittsburgh was behind it throughout most of the game because of a strong effort up-and-down the Bills roster.

With that, here’s Bills Wire’s report card following the team’s 31-17 Wild Card win:

PFF: 5 worst-graded Bills players on offense in Week 18

Not their best days:

The Buffalo Bills won a tight 21-14 final in their Week 18 matchup against the Miami Dolphins.

The Bills (11-6) had a few players that stood out above the rest in this one. On offense, the Bills were led by quarterback Josh Allen and his second-half efforts.

In terms of the players who helped Allen pull out the win, Buffalo will hope such efforts improve from some players throughout the rest of the 2023 playoffs as they aim for the Super Bowl.

According to Pro Football Focus, they’ll need these players to be better.

PFF: 5 worst-graded Bills players on offense in Week 16

Not their best days:

The Buffalo Bills won a tight 24-22 final in their Week 16 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Bills (9-6) had a few players that stood out above the rest in this one. On offense, the Bills were led by wide receiver Gabe Davis. After some quiet games, Davis had a huge effort.

But not every player helped pull out the win. If Buffalo is to crack the 2023 postseason, they’ll need better performances from these players.

According to Pro Football Focus, they’ll need these players specifically to start to playing at a high level.

PFF: 5 worst-graded #Bills players on offense in Week 14 vs. the #Chiefs:

The Buffalo Bills narrowly won a thrilling 20-17 final in their Week 14 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bills (7-6) had a few players that stood out above the rest in this one. On offense, the Bills were led by running bac James Cook against a much improved Chiefs (8-5) defense.

But not everyone was up to Cook’s standards. If Buffalo will hope to reach the postseason in 2023, they’ll need some players to improve down the stretch.

According to Pro Football Focus, they’ll need these players to play at a higher level.

Report card: Bills fall 37-34 in overtime at Eagles

Report card: #Bills fall 37-34 in overtime at #EaglesL

The Buffalo Bills took an opportunity to build on their push toward the playoffs in Week 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles and squandered it.

Buffalo (6-6) lost 37-34 in overtime against Philadelphia (10-1). Now the Bills have to take the defeat and push it far, far away. From here, the Bills will hope their march toward the postseason does not fall short for the first time since 2018.

Buffalo’s game plans fell short, and in the end, that was reflected by the final score.

The same can be said for the grades the team received following the contest, too.
