NFL picks against the spread, Week 9: Can the Falcons stay on top with a win over the Chargers?

Our picks for Week 9.

A few back-door covers in Week 8 — including the Packers against the Bills and Carolina’s Hail Mary against the Falcons — turned what could’ve been a big week into a mostly mediocre week.

Still, that proves our growing read on things is still mostly intact. Charles Curtis led the way this time, going 9-6 (52-58-3), Prince Grimes went 8-7 (55-65-3), Caroline Darney went 7-8 (57-63-3) and Blake Schuster went 6-9 (39-53-3).

Here’s a word from everyone ahead of the Week 9 action:

Prince: It’s pretty sad when 8-7 feels good… but it does.

Blake: Ok, the rust is off. I’m feeling much better this week.

Charles: DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK!

Caroline: Under .500 on the week, but still the most wins overall so I’ll take it.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 8: Who wins when the Giants visit the Seahawks?

Our picks for Week 8.

Our crew had some impressive wins in Week 7, including a couple correct picks for big underdogs like the Bears against the Patriots and Seahawks against the Chargers.

As we approach the midpoint of the season, Caroline Darney has our first consecutive weeks over .500 and is the first to 50 wins, going 9-5 last week (50-55-3 overall). Prince Grimes went 7-7 (47-58-3) and Charles Curtis also went 7-7 (43-62-3). And this week we welcome back new dad Blake Schuster (33-44-3)! Here’s a word from everyone:

Prince: Too many good vibes around with Blake back to lose.

Charles: Let’s win a bunch this week for the new dad.

Caroline: Y’all I am finally in a groove.

Blake: It’s great to be back! Now to just grab a big sip of coffee and check in on my favorite QB Mac Jones.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 7: Can 49ers defend homefield against Chiefs?

Our picks for Week 7.

How many weeks does it take to get a feel for an NFL season? The answer appears to be five weeks based on how our 2022 picks against the spread are going.

Bet For The Win had our first collective week over .500 in Week 6, which might be a sign of finally getting our sea legs…we think.

Caroline Darney became our first to pick double-digit winners in a single week, going 10-4 (41-50-3 overall). Prince J. Grimes went 9-5 (40-51-3), and Charles Curtis went 8-6 (36-55-3). Let’s hear from the crew ahead of Week 7.

Prince: We back!

Charles: One week above .500, LET’S KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING!

Caroline: LET’S GO. I asked if I could retire on top, and they said no.

NFL picks, Week 6: Betting picks for winners, spread, total in remaining games

Check out Jess Root’s betting picks for all the games left in Week 6.

Week 6 began with a stinker of a game between the Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears. The Commanders won 12-7 despite the Bears getting inside the five-yard line three times. They managed to get no points in those three trips.

With the Lions, Texans, Raiders and Titans on their bye week, there are only 13 games remaining on the Week 6 schedule.

That leaves 13 games to have some betting action on.

Below are my picks for the moneyline, the spread and the total for each game left on the schedule.

NFL picks Week 5: Winners, against the spread, over/under picks

Check out our Week 5 betting picks for the 15 games remaining on the Week 5 schedule.

Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season started out with a dud of a game Thursday night between the Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts got the upset win in overtime in a game that stayed Under the projected point total.

There are still no teams on their bye yet so there are 15 games left on the schedule for Sunday and Monday and plenty of options to make some wagers on the games.

Below are my betting picks for the remaining games on the Week 5 schedule. You can track and follow all my picks from each week all season on Tallysight.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 5: Will the Bengals beat Lamar Jackson and the Ravens?

Our picks for Week 5.

For the first time all season, we had a couple pushes in Week 4. Now, our experts have ties on their records, but momentum continues to build as we head into Week 5.

After re-tallying records from past weeks, there were some minor discrepancies, so here’s a look at last week’s records with updated season records. Blake Schuster had the best week of the season, going 9-5-2 (26-36-2 overall). Caroline Darney went 7-7-2 (25-37-2 overall), Charles Curtis went 6-8-2 (24-38-2 overall) and Prince J. Grimes went 5-9-2 (24-38-2 overall).

Prince: I’ll steal a phrase previously used by Blake: Fade me.

Caroline: Well, I didn’t get more wrong than right this week, so, yay!

Charles: So we should all just copy Blake!

Blake: *raises arms in triumph, confusion*

Week 4 of the NFL season kicked off with the Cincinnati Bengals knocking off the Miami Dolphins Thursday night, giving the Dolphins their first loss of the year.

The Bengals won the game, covered the spread and the game stayed Under the projected total.

I kicked off the week hitting the trifecta for the Thursday night game.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 4: Who wins Super Bowl rematch between Chiefs and Buccaneers?

Our picks for Week 4.

That’s more like it! Week 3 was a step in the right direction for our pickers with three going at least .500.

Caroline Darney and Blake Schuster were each 9-7, Prince J. Grimes went 8-8 and Charles Curtis went 5-11. This week won’t be easy though. There’s not a single double-digit spread to choose from, and just three spreads are larger than four points. Here’s a word from the crew:

Prince: That’s more like it.

Charles: Look away.

Caroline: Moving on up!

NFL Week 2 betting picks for winners, spread, total

Check out Jess Root’s betting picks for the 15 remaining games in Week 2 of the NFL season.

There are 15 games remaining on the NFL schedule this week. There are 13 Sunday games and a pair of Monday night games in Week 2.

To kick off the week, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers, but with a late touchdown, the Chargers covered the spread.

The total stayed under the projection for the game.

Below are my picks for the rest of the games of the week.

Check them out. All odds come from Tipico Sportsbook. You can see all my picks on Tallysight.
