NFL picks against the spread, Week 13: Who wins AFC championship rematch between Chiefs and Bengals?

Our picks for Week 13.

I owe the Cincinnati Bengals an apology. I absolutely thought the Titans had a shot to beat them last week, but Cincinnati’s defense stepped up and held Derrick Henry to 38 yards on the ground to secure a third straight win.

Can they slow down MVP favorite Patrick Mahomes, though? That’s what we’re here to help you answer. Or at least try.

In Week 12, Blake Schuster led the way at 9-6-1 (70-74-8), Caroline Darney missed one pick and went 8-6-1 (74-85-6), Charles Curtis went 4-11-1 (76-96-8) and I was 6-9-1 (79-93-8 overall).

Here’s a word ahead of our Week 13 picks:

Charles: Oh dear God. Let’s pretend that didn’t happen.

Blake: Profitability remains so close, yet so far away. Which I guess makes me the Elon Musk of the group.

Caroline: Ok, ok ok. Let’s do it.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 12: Which surging team wins between the Bengals and Titans?

Our picks for Week 12.

Let last week be a lesson. Don’t bet on a game like Browns-Bills based on weather conditions when the status of the game’s location remains up in the air. Surely, we all would have taken Buffalo at a neutral site without snow.

Either way, Week 11 was a step in the right direction for me, with a 7-5-2 record (73-84-7 overall). Charles Curtis also went 7-5-2 (72-85-7) and Blake Schuster went 4-8-2 (61-68-7). Caroline Darney (66-79-5) is back after a week off.

Here’s a word from them before we get into Thanksgiving week games:

Blake: Ok, so we didn’t get to .500. But there’s still hope this week!

Charles: Steadily creeping back to the win column!

Caroline: I wish I could say I missed making picks, but I don’t want to lie to you all.

An early betting preview of the upcoming action in the NFL.

If you’re coming here looking for picks, that’s not what this is. We’ll get to those later in the week.

This right here is an early betting preview of the upcoming action in the NFL, with a first impression of each game and betting line, with a few trends and hints sprinkled in. Sometimes, bettors can overthink things and talk themselves out of making the right pick. So these are just baseline thoughts before we take a deeper dive into the numbers later in the week.

Spreads and over/under numbers are from BetMGM and likely to change after this is published.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 11: Can the Cowboys bounce back against the Vikings?

Our picks for Week 11.

If you’re going to get a pick wrong, at least let the game be as entertaining as the one between the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. That’s the motto for the rest of the season.

Or you can just be as good as Blake Schuster, who is on a roll after going 10-4 in Week 10 (57-60-5 overall). Charles Curtis went 7-7 (65-80-5), Prince Grimes went 6-8 (66-79-5) and Caroline Darney went 5-9 (66-79-5).

Let’s get a word from everyone before we get into Week 11 picks:

Prince: I desperately need a big week. But this slate doesn’t feel good.

Charles: We’ve got a bunch of weeks to get back to .500.

Blake: Keep your bad vibes away from me. We’re crossing over into profitability this week.

NFL picks, Week 10: Winners, against the spread, over/under for all games

Check out our betting picks for all games left on the Week 10 schedule.

Week 10 began Thursday with a surprising win by the Carolina Panthers over the Atlanta Falcons. Bettors who had the Panthers on the moneyline enjoyed a nice positive-odds payout.

Fourteen games remain on the Week 10 schedule between Sunday and Monday.

There are many opportunities for some betting action on those games.

Below are my picks for all games in Week 10 — the winners, picks against the spread and whether to take over or under the projected total.

Below are a few thoughts on some of the picks.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 10: Can the Rams get on track against the Cardinals?

Our picks for Week 10.

Raise your hand if you saw the Jets beating the Bills last week… yeah, didn’t think so.

The unpredictability of the NFL returned in Week 9, but there weren’t a lot of games that stumped our entire crew.

Blake Schuster is largely to thank for that, as he went against the grain for an 8-3-2 record (47-56-5 overall) last week. Charles Curtis strung together a fourth straight non-losing week at 6-5-2 (58-73-5), Prince Grimes went 5-6-2 (60-71-5) and Caroline Darney went 4-7-2 (61-70-5).

Here’s what they have to say ahead of Week 10.

Prince: Don’t pick the Raiders. Don’t pick the Raiders. Don’t pick the Raiders…

Charles: Four straight non-losing weeks is a HUGE victory.

Blake: Keep me away from all fire extinguishers. No one even look at me.

Caroline: oh. my. goodness. that. record.

NFL picks, Week 9: Betting picks for all remaining games

We have betting picks for the winner, spread and total for the remaining games on the NFL schedule in Week 9.

Week 9 of the NFL is already underway after the Thursday night game. There are another 12 games between Sunday and Monday, and there are plenty of opportunities for some action in those games.

If you want to put a few dollars on some of the outcomes of the games left on the schedule, below are my picks for the winner, the spread and the total for each of the games remaining on the schedule.

Check out my picks below and then some explanations as to why I lean a certain way.

NFL picks against the spread, Week 9: Can the Falcons stay on top with a win over the Chargers?

Our picks for Week 9.

A few back-door covers in Week 8 — including the Packers against the Bills and Carolina’s Hail Mary against the Falcons — turned what could’ve been a big week into a mostly mediocre week.

Still, that proves our growing read on things is still mostly intact. Charles Curtis led the way this time, going 9-6 (52-58-3), Prince Grimes went 8-7 (55-65-3), Caroline Darney went 7-8 (57-63-3) and Blake Schuster went 6-9 (39-53-3).

Here’s a word from everyone ahead of the Week 9 action:

Prince: It’s pretty sad when 8-7 feels good… but it does.

Blake: Ok, the rust is off. I’m feeling much better this week.

Charles: DON’T CALL IT A COMEBACK!

Caroline: Under .500 on the week, but still the most wins overall so I’ll take it.
