How to Watch Lions vs. Vikings, NFL Week 14 Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

Watch Lions vs. Vikings Live Online.

The Detroit Lions (3-8) head to Minneapolis to face the Vikings (8-4) in an NFC North contest. The Vikings have won the last four contests. Both teams met back in Week 7 when Kirk Cousins and Matt Stafford each threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns. However, it was Vikings running back Dalvin Cook’s 142 yards rushing and two touchdowns that provided the difference in the game. Can the Vikings pick up another divisional win and inch closer to the Packers? We’ll find out Sunday.

Everything seemed to be going wrong at the quarterback position for the Lions. Stafford and Jeff Driskel were both out, so it was next man up for Detroit. David Blough completed 22 of 38 passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, but the team lost 24-20 vs. Chicago, its fifth loss in a row. Bo Scarborough rushed for 83 yards and Kenny Golladay reeled in four catches for a season-high 158 yards, his fifth game over 100 yards. Detroit can put up points and it will try and beat you through the air. The Lions rank seventh in total yards (337.2 YPG) and seventh in passing yards (271.7 YPG).

While the offense is successful, the Lions defense has struggled mightily. Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky threw for 338 yards and three touchdowns. As a unit, the defense is 29th in total yards allowed (398.1 YPG) and 30th in passing yards allowed (280.1 YPG). The Vikings rely on the run, but with Cook’s production down the last two games, they could put the ball in Cousins’ hands more and allow his weapons on the outside to make plays.

Don’t count the Vikings out in any games. Their last four have been decided by seven points or less and that includes a 26-23 loss to Kansas City on the road and a 37-30 loss in Seattle last week. Cousins completed 22 of 38 passes for 276 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Those passes went to a total of nine different wide receivers. Cook injured his shoulder in the game and has since said he will be ready to play, but how productive will he be? In his last two games, he has a combined 55 yards and two touchdowns.  Not the numbers the league’s fifth-best rusher (1,046 yards) is accustomed to putting up.

The Seahawks totaled over 450 yards of offense against Minnesota. Russell Wilson made plays with his arm and accounted for 240 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception, but it was Seattle’s ground and pound rushing attack that was the most damaging. Chris Carson and Rashad Penny combined for 38 carries, 176 yards, and two touchdowns. How will the defense bounce back against a weak Lions running attack? Can it stop the passing game? That is Detroit’s forte and the Vikings are ranked 20th in that category (242.9 YPG), the worst of any major defensive statistic.

The Baltimore Ravens (10-2) head to Buffalo to face a 9-3 Bills squad on Sunday afternoon. Baltimore leads the all-time series 5-3, including a 47-3 blowout last season. Good news for Buffalo though, the two times these teams met in New York (2007 and 2013), both resulted in wins for the home team.

We may have witnessed a preview of the Super Bowl this past weekend when the Ravens and 49ers squared-off. Baltimore was able to edge out San Francisco 20-17 despite some terrible weather conditions. Lamar Jackson didn’t have his best game passing going 14 of 25 for 101 yards and one touchdown, but it didn’t matter. Jackson picked up where he left off in the run game with 16 carries for 101 yards and another score. This year, he’s totaled 977 yards rushing and will most certainly break the 1,000-yard barrier against the Bills. To put his numbers in perspective, he is ranked ninth in rushing in all of the NFL. Kyler Murray is the next best quarterback on the list with 446 yards. Jackson is a highlight reel waiting to happen and has teamed with Mark Ingram in the backfield to give the Ravens the best rushing attack in the league and second-best offense.

Jackson is a difference-maker, but the Baltimore defense is playing lights out lately. Against the 49ers, it recorded two sacks and limited Jimmy Garoppolo to 165 yards and one touchdown.  Raheem Mostert was able to run the ball efficiently on the defense with 19 carries for 146 yards, and one touchdown. The Ravens are fifth in points allowed (18.2) and sixth in rushing yards allowed (94.2 YPG). Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen isn’t afraid to run the ball or hand off to running backs Devin Singletary or Frank Gore. The defense’s ability to stop the run will be key in this game.

What a difference a year makes. Buffalo was 6-10 last year and is now 9-3 and hot on the heels of the New England Patriots in the AFC East. The Bills have won three in a row, including a 26-15 win over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Josh Allen accounted for 274 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, while Devin Singletary posted 101 total yards and one touchdown. Cole Beasley led the team with six catches for 110 yards and one touchdown against his former team. It marked the first 100+ yard receiving game of the season for Beasley.

The game plan is simple defensively. Stop Lamar Jackson and the Ravens running game. How the team is able to execute it is a different story. Buffalo was able to sack quarterback Dak Prescott four times, two of those coming from rookie Ed Oliver, and force an interception. The defense ranks third in total defense with opponents averaging 300.1 YPG and will face arguably their biggest test of the year this weekend.

The Green Bay Packers (9-3) appear to be a playoff team this season, as they continue to pile up wins to lead the NFC North. However, they have a game on Sunday that could be trickier than expected against the Washington Redskins, a team that has found their footing in recent weeks.

Washington got a second consecutive win last week when it upset the Carolina Panthers 29-21 after falling behind 14-0. The Redskins then proceeded to score the next 29 points in the eventual victory. Derrius Guice was the star of the show for Washington in the win, rushing for 129 yards on just 10 carries with two touchdowns. The team held Christian McCaffrey to just 44 yards on the ground and 58 receiving yards. The team will hope to have similar success on defense against the stars of the Packers.

Green Bay got a 31-13 win over the New York Giants last weekend. Aaron Rodgers threw for 243 yards and four touchdown passes with no interceptions at a snowy MetLife Stadium. The much maligned Packers defense intercepted rookie quarterback Daniel Jones three times and will hope to have similar success against another first-year quarterback in Dwayne Haskins in this contest. Green Bay sits just one game ahead of the Minnesota Vikings for first place in the NFC North entering Week 14.

San Francisco (10-2) heads to New Orleans (10-2) to take on the Saints in what could be a potential preview of the NFC Championship game. The 49ers lead the all-time series 48-26-2, but it was a three-touchdown performance from Drew Brees that gave the Saints a 41-23 victory in the last matchup between these two teams back in 2016.

The 49ers have just two losses this season. The first came vs. Seahawks in a 20-17 overtime thriller. The other came against the red hot Ravens in a 20-17 defeat due to a game-winning field goal by Justin Tucker as time expired. Both have been heartbreakers. Against Baltimore, Jimmy Garropolo kept his cool and went 15-for-21 with 165 yards and one touchdown even in the rainy, windy conditions. Raheem Mostert racked up 146 yards and one score on 19 carries. The offense is second in rushing in the NFL with an average of 148 YPG. That’s the identity of this team, a physical brand of football on both sides of the ball.

Defensively, San Francisco is ranked first in total defense (250.9 YPG) and first in pass defense (134.2 YPG). Last weekend against the Ravens, the 49ers held Baltimore to under 300 total yards and Lamar Jackson to 105 yards and one touchdown passing. Fred Warner led the way with 11 tackles. Dre Greenshaw chipped in eight more and DeForest Buckner racked up six tackles and the lone sack of the game.

It wasn’t a pretty performance offensively, but the Saints won their third consecutive game in a row with a 26-18 defeat over NFC South foe Atlanta on the road. Drew Brees completed 18 of 34 passes for 184 yards and one touchdown. The only game he threw for fewer yards this season was Week 2 when he left due to injury. Michael Thomas was held to just six catches for 48 yards by the Falcons defense and Alvin Kamara carried the ball 11 times for 61 yards. Can Brees and Thomas bounce back against a stingy San Francisco defense? They will need to be efficient on third down as well, converting two out of 10 attempts against the Falcons.

Ferocious. That’s how the Saint’ defense played against Atlanta. The unit recorded nine sacks, two interceptions and had a total of three turnovers. Cameron Jordan accounted for six tackles and four of those sacks to bring his season total to 13.5, second-best in the NFL. Craig Robertson added seven tackles and one sack, while Marcus Davenport picked up four tackles and two sacks. New Orleans is third in rushing defense with opponents averaging 88.6 YPG. Its ability to slow down the 49ers rushing attack will be crucial to the team’s success.

NFL pick em Week 14: Experts predicting the Ravens beat the Bills in a tight game

Almost all the pundits around the league are predicting the Ravens will beat the Bills in Week 14, though it’s looking like a close game

The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills get a rematch of their Week 1 blowout from last season where Baltimore won 47-3. This time, the game has more immediate playoff implications for both the Ravens and Bills as each team is fighting for their postseason fates.

While Baltimore has been the hottest team in the NFL over the last eight weeks, Buffalo finds itself playing significantly better football recently. With both teams playing well and the importance of the matchup, it might normally make league pundits a little more divided on who will win. But not this week as nearly every expert and analyst has the Ravens winning in Week 14.

Let’s take a closer look at what each analyst is thinking about this game.

ESPN: Ravens

Eight of the nine pundits believe Baltimore walks out of this week with another win, as do the fans voting. The only expert not choosing the Ravens this week was Seth Wickersham, who has picked against Baltimore since Week 11 — so take his selection in Week 14 with a grain of salt.

NFL.com: Ravens

NFL writer Gregg Rosenthal has Baltimore winning but notes the Bills are surging and will be a test. However, he still has the Ravens winning by a touchdown, 24-17

“Teams change. The Ravens defense transformed from solid to stellar just as Lamar Jackson took off into the stratosphere. I was slow to identify Buffalo’s defensive transformation in November after a mostly disappointing first two months. LB Matt Milano has gone from a liability to a star again. Top-10 pick Ed Oliver is now making a huge impact. Head man Sean McDermott is coaching with more aggression. And most importantly, Josh Allen is making far better decisions in the best stretch of his career while getting more help from rookie RB Devin Singletary. The Ravens are catching the Bills at the wrong time. The Bills are catching the Ravens at the wrong time. That makes it the right time to enjoy another Ravens slugfest win where Jackson is the difference.”

USA TODAY Sports: Ravens

Of the seven pundits predicting picks here, six have Baltimore winning in Week 14. Almost everyone thinks this will be a close one except for Tom Shad, who has the Ravens winning by 13 points.

Sports Illustrated: Ravens

Everyone at Sports Illustrated is picking the Ravens this week. It’s one of just five unanimous decisions from this group in Week 14.

The Cowboys (6-6) and Bears (6-6) continue their seasons with a Thursday night showdown at Soldier Field. Dallas leads the all-time series 15-11 and has won the last two games, including a 31-17 victory at AT&T Stadium. Can the Bears continue their two-game win streak with a victory at home or will the Cowboys return to their winning ways in a matchup that dates back nearly fifty years to their first contest in 1960?

Jerry Jones’ head is spinning in Dallas. What is going on with the Cowboys? America’s team has lost two straight games, including a 26-15 defeat at the hands of the Buffalo Bills, and three of its last four. The good news is that the Cowboys still possess one of the best offenses in the NFL and are in first place in a weak NFC East division. Dak Prescott threw for 355 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He leads the league with 3,788 yards passing. Ezekiel Elliott had 12 carries for 71 yards in addition to seven catches for 66 yards. Amari Cooper led the team with eight catches for 85 yards. Both Elliott and Cooper are just shy of 1,000 yards rushing and receiving, respectively. A productive game from Elliott is key to winning the time of possession battle and setting up the play-action passing game.

Defensively, the Cowboys gave up nearly 275 all-purpose yards to quarterback Josh Allen, 110 of those from former Dallas wideout Cole Beasley. Jaylon Smith is one of the best linebackers in the NFL and ranks third with 112 tackles on the season. He racked up 14 against the Bills, while teammate Sean Lee added 12 more and Jourdan Lewis picked up six tackles and two sacks.

Da Bears. Da Bears have won back-to-back games and are 6-6 on the season. Their success rides on the arm of quarterback Mitch Trubisky. If he can avoid turning the ball over, then Chicago can stay in the game. Last weekend in Detroit, Trubisky completed 29 of 38 passes for 338 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. David Montgomery rushed for 75 yards and added a receiving score late in the fourth quarter to put the Bears on top and give them the 24-20 win. Wide receiver Anthony Miller had a career game with nine catches for 140 yards. The offense is averaging a mere 17.7 points per game, 27th best in the NFL, and will have to put points on the board if it wants to compete with a high-powered Cowboys offense.

While the offense has struggled for most of the season, the defense is fourth in the NFL in points allowed (17.3) and in the Top 10 in total yards, passing yards and rushing yards allowed. Roquan Smith racked up 15 tackles and two sacks against the Lions and gives the Bears a formidable 1-2 punch at linebacker with Khalil Mack.

How to Watch Patriots vs. Texans, NFL Week 13 Live Stream, Schedule, TV Channel, Start Time

The New England Patriots (10-1) bring their AFC East-leading squad to NRG Stadium to take on the AFC South-leading Texans (7-4). New England won 27-20 at Gillette Stadium last year and owns both AFC Divisional Playoff victories between these two teams. The Texans only win was nearly a decade ago in 2010, when they edged the Patriots 34-27 in Houston. The Patriots are 10-1 all-time vs. Texans.

Tom Brady is frustrated with the offensive production of the Patriots, and rightfully so. The team posted 20 points in a loss to the Ravens, 17 the following week in a win against the Eagles, and beat the Cowboys 13-9 in a defensive battle this past weekend. Brady completed 17 of 37 passes for 190 yards and one touchdown. Sony Michel rushed for 85 yards and Julian Edelman was the leading receiver with 93 yards. The offensive depth chart is incredibly thin due to injuries. This unit will need to get going, as the defense can only carry them for so long.

This year we’ve seen stellar defenses in the NFL, including the 49ers and the Patriots. Lamar Jackson proved that New England’s group isn’t perfect, but he’s been doing that to opponents all season long. The unit held the Cowboys No. 1 scoring offense to zero touchdowns in the game and Dak Prescott to a mere 212 yards passing, while also tossed an interception. All-Pro wide receiver Amari Cooper was unable to reel in any receptions for the first time in his career as a Cowboy. Dallas converted only two of 13 third-down attempts as well. The Patriots defense simply shutdown the Cowboys and will face another tough offense in the Houston Texans.

After a 41-7 beatdown at the hands of the Ravens, the Texans narrowly defeated the Colts 20-17 last weekend. If they thought it was difficult scoring points on Indy, it won’t get any easier when the Patriots come rolling into town with their defense that ranks second in total defense (256.4 YPG) and passing yards allowed (158 YPG). Last weekend, Watson threw for nearly 300 yards and two touchdowns. Will Fuller had his second-best game of the season with seven catches for 140 yards, while DeAndre Hopkins added six receptions for 94 yards and two scores. Can this offensive line protect Watson and give him time to throw the ball to his talented wide receivers? Will they be able to get running back Carlos Hyde going to set up the play-action pass? How they respond to these questions will be crucial to their success on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs were expected to be at the top of the AFC West this season, and they have delivered on those expectations so far this year. The Oakland Raiders had their three-game win streak snapped last weekend in a disappointing 34-3 loss to the New York Jets. Oakland had just 208 yards for the game, with Derek Carr being pulled in the second half due to the lopsided nature of the contest. Carr had just 127 passing yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. To go toe-to-toe with Patrick Mahomes, Carr will need to be more effective against an inconsistent Chiefs defense.

Kansas City won its last game, earning a 24-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football in Mexico City. Patrick Mahomes didn’t play up to his usual standards, throwing for 182 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Fortunately, the Chiefs were able to compensate on defense, intercepting Philip Rivers four times in the win. The Chiefs have alternated wins and losses over their last six games, a streak they will attempt to break with a win against Oakland.

49ers vs. Ravens (-5.5)

The 49ers lone loss of the season came against Seattle in an overtime thriller. This back half of their schedule doesn’t get any easier. After a 37-8 victory at home against Green Bay, they head on the road to face Baltimore and New Orleans. Jimmy Garoppolo completed 14 of 20 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Head coach Kyle Shanahan and company were ecstatic to have tight end George Kittle back after missing two games with an injury. Kittle, one of the best tight ends in the NFL, gave an instant boost to the offense with six catches for 129 yards and one touchdown.

The old adage that defense wins championships may be the 49ers ticket to the Super Bowl. This unit is holding opponents to an average of 248.0 YPG and opposing quarterbacks to an average of 136.9 YPG. Ferocious. That’s how the defense played against a quality Packers team and a future HOF quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had just 104 yards and one touchdown, one of the least productive games in his career. Fred Warner had 11 tackles and one sack, while Arik Armstead and Nick Bosa combined for eight tackles and three sacks. The defense has faced dual threat quarterbacks like Kyler Murray (twice) and Russell Wilson, but will it have an answer for Lamar Jackson? Containing him is the key to this game.

Jackson is quickly making a case for MVP honors and he displayed his highlight laden talents for all to see on Monday Night Football. Baltimore scored six touchdowns on its first six possessions as the Ravens dismantled the Rams 45-6 on the road. Jackson was 15 of 20 for 169 passing yards with five touchdowns and 95 yards rushing. This season he has a total of 3,303 yards of offense and 24 touchdowns. Mark Ingram Jr. has also been an integral part of the run game. The bruiser picked up his fourth 100+ yard rushing total in the win. Marquise Brown and Willie Snead were both on the receiving end of two touchdown passes on Sunday. This offense is ranked second in the league with an average of 433.3 YPG and is by far the best when it comes to the run. Baltimore is the only team with an average of over 200 YPG (210.5). Behind them is the 49ers (145.6 YPG).

While the offense dominated the time of possession, the defense has played well all season.  This unit is currently ranked third in rushing defense (87.7) and showed that against the Rams, as their rushing game picked up a mere 22 yards on the ground. San Francisco doesn’t have any superstars on offense but have a balanced attack that will keep Baltimore on its toes.

Prediction: With the high flying attack of Lamar and company our analyst Ryan Brandenburger is taking the Ravens to cover the 5.5 points in a shootout with two of the NFL’s heavyweights. Score: Ravens 35-24

The Cleveland Browns (5-6) and Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5), AFC North rivals, meet Sunday for the second time in three weeks. After three consecutive home wins, the Browns are back on the road Sunday in Pittsburgh. Cleveland is coming off of a 41-26 victory against Miami in which Baker Mayfield threw for 327 yards, three touchdowns, but also three interceptions. Nick Chubb continued his standout season with his fifth game of over 100 yards rushing. Kareem Hunt adds another dynamic in the backfield and picked up 37 yards on eight carries and one touchdown. Jarvis Landry notched double-digit catches with 106 total yards and two touchdowns, marking just his second game over 100 yards this season. Odell Beckham Jr. added six catches for 84 yards and one touchdown, as the offense combined for over 450 total yards.

The first time these two teams met it was the defensive unit of the Browns that stole the show with four sacks, four interceptions and held the Steelers to under 300 yards of offense. Against the Dolphins last weekend, the defense had another solid outing despite missing its leading pass rusher Myles Garrett who was suspended the rest of the season for striking quarterback Mason Rudolph with his helmet against the Steelers. Sheldon Richardson had five tackles and two sacks, while Joe Schobert added five tackles and two interceptions. Schobert leads the team in both categories.

Plenty of question marks and injuries surround the Steelers offense as it heads into a rematch with the Browns. Pittsburgh returns to Heinz Field after two consecutive road games, which included the loss to the Browns and a 16-10 win against the Bengals last weekend. Quarterback Mason Rudolph, who threw four interceptions against Cleveland, completed just eight of 16 passes for 85 yards and one interception, before being benched in the third quarter. Coach Mike Tomlin wanted a spark on offense and put in Devlin Hodges, who threw for 118 yards and one touchdown. Tomlin noted after the game he had yet to choose a starter for Sunday. Rookie running back Benny Snell Jr. did a nice job in the absence of injured James Conner with 21 carries for 98 yards. Pittsburgh can use all the weapons it has on offense, including Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was out against the Bengals. Starting center Maurkice Pouncey will miss the game due to a suspension for his role in the brawl in Cleveland.

The Steelers defense is ranked in the Top 10 in points allowed, total yards allowed and passing yards allowed. Last weekend, it limited Ryan Finley to under 200 yards passing and the Bengals run game to a total of 86 yards. Mark Barron and Cam Heyward each had six tackles and one sack. If this unit pressures Baker Mayfield, creates turnovers and limits the Browns big-play offense, Pittsburgh has a chance to win on Sunday.
