Jason and Travis Kelce were hilariously befuddled to learn the NSFW name for Taylor Swift’s iconic photo filter

The … what?!

At this point, both Jason and Travis Kelce are well aware of all the lore that comes with being in Taylor Swift’s world. Her fan base is incredibly online, and they seemingly have a story or theory for everything Taylor.

But one piece of that Swiftie fandom even left Travis and Jason utterly confused.

Over the years, it’s been awfully easy to spot a photo that was taken by Swift (or with her camera). The photos have a filter that is reminiscent of 2012 Instagram, giving peak millennial vibes. Travis and Jason likely knew about The Filter, but they had no idea about the name that Swifties have assigned for it. They heard that name for the first time in this week’s edition of New Heights, and the reactions did not disappoint.

(Warning: Very strong language in the video)

The best part was how Travis and Jason didn’t even realize what was being said to them. “What are you even saying? Are you saying focus?”

And then upon learning what was being said, Travis had the reasonable response of asking why — since Swifties have a meaning behind their nicknames and phrases. But, uh, not this one apparently.

It doesn’t have to make sense.

Travis Kelce reveals if Taylor Swift listens to his New Heights podcast in must-listen segment

Does Taylor Swift actually listen to New Heights?

We’ve always hoped to hear Taylor Swift on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast that he does with Jason Kelce.

That hasn’t happened. But as we learned on the latest episode, she listens to it every week.

That’s what Travis said with the show’s staffers, Jake and Brandon, who confirmed that she’s spoken with them nicely about it. Brandon talked about freaking out in a good way about that fact that she gave “creative compliments.”

“When somebody of that creative caliber pays you a compliment, you’re kind of like, ‘Oh [expletive],” Brandon added.

Got to love that. Here’s that moment from Wednesday’s show:

Also, around the 1:07:00 mark, they talk about meeting Swift, who was so nice to them:

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce emphatically addresses Bengals playoffs conspiracy

Kansas City #Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce emphatically addresses Cincinnati #Bengals playoffs conspiracy | @EdEastonJr

The Kansas City Chiefs are on their bye week from the first round of the postseason and are still facing criticism for not playing their starters in Week 18. Cincinnati Bengals supporters, who needed a Chiefs victory to clinch a spot in the postseason, are displeased.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce refused to hold his tongue regarding the situation during his rant on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast.

“I ain’t scared of f***ing nobody; I wanted them in the f***ng playoffs,” said Kelce. “I want to slay every dragon one by one, like Mortal Kombat. I don’t even want this to be like we play the lowest seed. Just give me the best teams. AFC, NFC, give me all of them, Mortal Kombat-style; I’ll go through every f***ing one of them just giving them my best f***ing effort. I ain’t scared of a single soul, man.”

The Bengals won their season finale matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it wasn’t enough regardless of the hot streak they carried into the end of the year. Kelce would have welcomed the challenge of a flying high Cincinnati club at Arrowhead Stadium or anywhere else.

“I’ll play them at the Walmart parking lot; I don’t give a s***. We can have our own game in the offseason where we really duke it out,” said Kelce. “Listen, I love competing against the greatest. The Bengals were a fun-ass f—ing team to watch there towards the end of the season, and it’s a shame they didn’t make it in the playoffs because they would have made the playoffs that much f***ing crazier and that much more fun.”

Kelce must wait an extra week before unleashing his aggression on his soon-to-be Divisional Round opponent.

Travis Kelce emphatically denies the Chiefs tanked to keep Bengals out of the playoffs

Well, that settles it.

There were a lot of tin-foil hat wearers in the NFL in Week 18.

With the Cincinnati Bengals needing the Denver Broncos to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs, some NFL fans thought that the Chiefs deliberately tanked their Week 18 game to eliminate the dangerous Bengals.

MORE TRAVIS KELCE: He trolled Patrick Mahomes after what Caitlin Clark said

What did Travis Kelce have to say about that? The Chiefs tight end addressed it on the latest New Heights with his brother, Jason: “I ain’t scared of [expletive] nobody! I wanted them in the [expletive] playoffs. I want to slay every dragon one by one like Mortal Kombat.”

There you have it. Plus, the Chiefs had to rest their starters given that they clinched the No. 1 seed!

The Kansas City Chiefs have fans everywhere around the world that span generations. The recent success starring Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce has garnered new members of Chiefs Kingdom as the team attempts the Super Bowl three-peat.

On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, WNBA star Caitlin Cark joined the Kelce brothers to explain her Chiefs fandom, which dates back to her childhood and prominence in the family.

“I had family in Kansas City, and I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, which is only three hours from Kansas City,” said Clark. “So that’s just the closest NFL team; my dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m like a bandwagon Chiefs fan, I’m like, ‘No, I was there before Patrick (Mahomes) and Travis.’ We were ride or dies, so we’ve been big fans.”

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year helped bring more viewers to the league and became a nationally recognized star in basketball. Clark also mentioned being a fan of Taylor Swift and attending ‘The Eras Tour’ but has yet to watch a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Caitlin Clark is all for Patrick Mahomes bringing a WNBA team to Kansas City

The Rookie of the Year would love to see the league expand.

Jason and Travis Kelce covered a lot of topics with WNBA star Caitlin Clark on the latest New Heights podcast episode — everything from NBA viewership recommendations to Clark turning her mom into a Swiftie at the Eras Tour was discussed. The trio even dipped into potential WNBA expansion rumors.

Clark, who was the 2024 Rookie of the Year with the Indiana Fever, was fully on board with the idea of Travis Kelce’s Chiefs teammate, Patrick Mahomes, bringing a WNBA team to Kansas City. Mahomes and his wife Brittany are already active in supporting women’s sports as part of the ownership group of the NWSL team in Kansas City, the KC Current.

That ownership group is now looking at what it would take to expand the WNBA into their home town.

Of course, Taylor Swift also came up. Clark is a huge fan of the 14-time Grammy winner and girlfriend of Travis, and the trio talked about her trips to see the Eras Tour. The all-time NCAA points leader said she saw Swift’s mega popular concert three times, once in Minnesota and twice in her backyard in Indianapolis.

The Fever star even said she turned her mom into a full-fledged Swiftie.

Travis Kelce’s Taylor Swift tribute after the final Eras Tour was just the sweetest

Travis Kelce had nothing but kind words for the end of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

A new episode of the New Heights podcast dropped on Wednesday, and it was the first one since Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour came to an end. The concert was, of course, a topic of interest as New Heights co-host Travis Kelce has been dating the 14-time Grammy winner since last summer.

“The unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end,” Travis said on the podcast. The Kansas City tight end impressively knew the number of shows — 149 in total — when asked by brother Jason, and he was effusive in his praise for everyone that worked on the popular concert tour.

“Shoutout to everybody that was a part of that show,” Travis continued. “It was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”

Travis Kelce gets teased about Taylor Swift ‘Tayvoodoo’ by Jason on latest New Heights

The brothers chatted about the mysterious phenomenon on this week’s podcast.

It’s Wednesday, which means it’s New Heights podcast day. The newest episode of the sports and pop culture pod hosted by brothers Jason and Travis Kelce dropped, and the duo finally addressed something that’s been pressing this football season: the “Tayvoodoo.”

“Tayvoodoo” is a term coined by the internet to attempt explain the unexplainable phenomenon around Taylor Swift and those that seem to slight the 14-time Grammy winning singer. Swift has been dating Travis Kelce for over a year now, Swifties have credited “Tayvoodoo” with helping the Chiefs get improbable wins. Usually, “Tayvoodoo” follows some unprompted hate, like Bills fans burning pictures of her while tailgating or the Ravens fan that bought then broke one of her records before the postseason game last year.

Now “Tayvoodoo” has made it into the discussion on New Heights as the brothers discussed the most recent close win for the Kansas City Chiefs

“There’s some unknown,” Jason said before trailing off with a laugh as little brother Travis interrupted with “Here you go with this [expletive] Tayvoodoo [expletive] again.”

The best part? Probably that Travis said “again,” meaning this discussion has happened before. Don’t play with the Tayvoodoo!
