Travis and Jason Kelce thank Taylor Swift fans in their iHeart Podcast of the Year award speech

Swifties got a big shoutout here.

New Heights has given us so much since Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce started it up, and not just because the NFL brothers occasionally talk about Taylor Swift.

We’ve seen everything from laughs to a lot of tears, and everything in between. So maybe it’s no surprise that they won Podcast of the Year during the 2024 iHeart Podcast Awards.

In an acceptance speech delivered virtually, the brothers thanked voters, and Jason said this: “We would be remiss if we didn’t immediately thank all of the 92 Percenters out there AKA Swifties who voted for us to win this award.”

Travis Kelce’s confusion over being called Yoko Ono on New Heights is legitimately hilarious

Speed skater, wife of John Lennon … it’s a common mix-up.

On the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce explained how wild it was arriving in Australia last month to attend the Eras Tour. When talking about the media frenzy as he got off the plane, big brother Jason Kelce interjected.

“You’re like the Beatles,” the recently-retired center said before adding, “Yoko Ono,” referring to the wife of the late John Lennon.

After a moment of laughter, Travis responds, “Was that the speed skater?”

He is, of course, talking about Olympic short track speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, the winner of eight medals and one of the most iconic winter Olympians for the United States.

Jason is absolutely (and understandably) tickled at his mix-up, and the results are hilarious.

Travis Kelce talks how ‘pretty [expletive] cool’ it is to have Taylor Swift fans wear his jersey

We agree, it is cool.

Travis Kelce has it right — if I was a professional football player like him (and I’m the farthest thing from it) or like his brother Jason (up until Monday), I’d love to see fans wearing my jersey.

In his case, it goes beyond Kansas City Chiefs fans who wear his jersey. We’ve seen Taylor Swift die-hards put on his threads at Eras Tour concerts, and when Travis attends shows, you can see it make him smile.

During Wednesday’s episode of New Heights, Jason asked Travis about how he felt about that.

“It’s pretty [expletive] cool to just have your jersey being worn, even if it’s on a day or at a football game,” he replied.

Travis Kelce tearfully addresses Jason Kelce’s retirement on New Heights podcast: ‘It feels empty’

A tearful, beautiful moment from the Kelce brothers.

The New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce has given us so many fun moments, but there have been emotional ones too.

And what we heard on Wednesday, after Jason’s all-time great retirement speech, was deeply emotional.

Travis talked about how Jason has been a step ahead of him and it’s been good to have his older brother as his “flotation device.” Then, Travis said this as his voice wavered: “To have you out of it, man, it feels empty and it definitely feels like it’s complete. It was a success …”

And then you hear the tears coming out before he added how fun it was to watch and what Jason means to Travis showing the way:

Travis Kelce adorably calls Taylor Swift ‘the best thing possible’ in latest New Heights episode after Australia trip

This is absolutely adorable.

The New Heights podcast returned on Wednesday, and Travis Kelce regaled big brother Jason and listeners with stories from his trip to Australia. Kelce made the trip Down Under to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as she performed her Eras Tour show in Sydney.

The NFL tight end and 14-time Grammy winner have been dating since last summer, and Swift was a mainstay at Kansas City games as the Chiefs won their second-straight Super Bowl.

Sydney was Kelce’s second trip to see Swift in concert since they became a couple — he previously flew to Argentina in November on a bye week — and the duo had a chance to spend some downtime together.

Swift and Kelce checked out the zoo in Sydney, getting followed by helicopters as they spent time with red pandas, kangaroos and more. When Jason asked if there were drones following them everywhere, Travis had a sweet reply about the helicopters that followed them.

“This is all because Taylor’s the biggest and the best thing possible,” Kelce said. Well, that’s completely adorable.

The New Heights podcast teases the new episode with Jason Kelce jumping through a flaming table

What could be better than this?

A new episode of the New Heights podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce drops on Wednesday morning, and it’s going to be a fun one if the teaser is any indication. After a week off, the brothers are delivering a new, in-person episode that will be the first since Jason announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, March 3.

In a clip posted to the podcast’s official account on Twitter and Instagram, Jason is dressed in a pair of coveralls and a face cover and holding onto the side of a fire truck. Below him, a folding table lit on fire awaits. Kelce gloriously and gracefully leaps into it, rolling off with just a smidge of fire remaining on his suit.

Perfect teaser for the new episode.

Jason Kelce launches mission to return Super Bowl luchador mask to Dallas 8th grader

The mask is too lucky to keep

Despite not actually winning the Super Bowl this year, it’s hard to find someone who had a better time celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ overtime victory in Las Vegas than Jason Kelce.

By now, videos of the Philadelphia Eagles center dancing around the Chiefs’ afterparty in a luchador mask he found have spread far and wide. They even made their way back to the mask’s rightful owner — and Kelce is on a mission to make sure the iconic item is returned safely.

After detailing how he discovered the mask on the latest episode of his podcast New Heights, Kelce was notified the mask actually belongs to Dallas eighth grader Elijah Smith, and promised he would get it back to him.

The Smith family told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth that Elijah’s mask has made it to four Super Bowls (and counting), has been autographed by Chiefs players and has a certain lucky quality to it:

The family hopes to get the mask back, but if not they are just grateful they got to be there.

“He was happy. He was excited. There was so much celebrating going on and dancing. And you couldn’t help but be excited,” said mom Sarah Smith. “I asked him when we got to the room, ‘Wait, he has your mask?’ And he’s like ‘Yea’ and I said ‘Are you upset?’ And he just wasn’t upset, he was a little bummed because it’s his autographed mask with Trent McDuffie, that was upsetting, but at the end of the day we were all celebrating a Super Bowl win.”

There’s just one thing that would make it even better. “It would be pretty cool if he autographed it and sent it back,” Elijah said.

Considering Kelce saw Elijah’s comments, here’s hoping there’s an extra surprise or two inside the package once the mask makes its way home.

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce hilariously recapped the Super Bowl afterparty, including a very dirty Luchador mask

The funniest recap of an amazing Super Bowl afterparty, starring Jason Kelce in a Luchador mask and Taylor Swift.

As we know from videos and photos of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl party, it was quite a time in Las Vegas after the championship victory on Sunday.

No one could steal the show from Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dancing and kissing to her songs … except for Travis’s brother Jason, who donned a Luchador mask and videobombed so many moments.

On the latest post-Super Bowl New Heights podcast, the Kelces recapped it and talked about how Jason found the Luchador mask on the dance floor and put it on. They also talked about how there was video of “two people in love” that panned to a Jason, who was a “complete Neanderthal.”

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce praised Taylor Swift for dealing with all the attention during the Super Bowl

Jason and Travis Kelce are amazed at how Taylor Swift handles everyone wanting to see her at the Super Bowl.

Jason Kelce totally gets it now.

On the latest New Heights podcast in which the Philadelphia Eagles center and his brother, three-time Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce, recapped the big game on Sunday, Jason talked about what it was like for Taylor Swift in the suite during the halftime show.

“I think it was my first, really, understanding [of] some of the things she has to deal with on a lot of bases, because there are so many star-studded people there where it’s like, dude, everybody wants to see her,” he remarked.

Travis had so much praise for his girlfriend in response: “Taylor thrives in those situations, she’s been in ’em countless times in her life.”

Jason Kelce tells an apologetic Travis Kelce he ‘crossed the line’ on the Andy Reid bump during the Super Bowl

Travis Kelce felt bad for bumping and screaming at the legendary Chiefs head coach during the Super Bowl.

Travis Kelce knows he messed up when he ran into Andy Reid on the sidelines and screamed in the legendary coach’s face during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory.

And his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, was right there to tell him that he messed up: “I think there’s better ways to handle this, retrospectively.”

“You crossed the line,” Jason added.

On the latest, post-Super Bowl New Heights podcast, the pair broke down the Chiefs’ victory and their wild weekend in Las Vegas, and around the 27-minute mark of the episode below, Travis totally knew he was in the wrong in that scenario that became a meme.

Both Jason and Travis did talk about how their emotions run high, and that Travis and Reid are so close. He wasn’t yelling at Reid and criticizing him, it was Travis letting out the frustration over not executing early in that game.

“It was pleading with your head coach to let you go out there and win this [expletive], me and you both know what that is,” Jason said.

As for Travis: “Big Red, sorry if I caught you with that cheap shot, baby.”
