The Rockets have scored 49 points in each of the past two games, including a 49-17 win at Bowling Green last Wednesday with an Over result while covering a 10.5-point number. The Under is 6-2 across their last eight outings despite consecutive Over results.

The Bobcats opened the season 1-7 SU, and they have been eliminated from the bowl picture. However, Ohio didn’t give up and has wins against Miami (Ohio) and Eastern Michigan over the past two outings, covering in each outing. The Under is 6-1 in their previous seven contests.

Toledo (-280) will cost you over two and a half times your potential return, and that’s a risky play. The Rockets have been scoring points at will lately, but the Bobcats have not given up and have been a thorn in everyone’s side down the stretch as they relish the role of spoiler.

Against the spread

Look to OHIO +7.5 (-122) catching seven and a hook on its home field. The Bobcats have won outright in the past two as underdogs while going 5-1 ATS across their last six outings. They might not shoot down the Rockets, but they’re going to make it awfully tough for Toledo.

Over/Under

The OVER 54.5 (-108) doesn’t look like a great play based on Ohio’s recent run. The Under is 6-1 in the past seven overall for the Bobcats, although that lone Over was in their most recent home outing.

Toledo has been operating with little resistance lately, averaging 49.0 PPG while allowing 34.5 PPG in its previous two mid-week games. We should see plenty of points here.

The Bulldogs have picked up where they left off last season. With an impressive 2-0 start to the season, Gonzaga recently blew out then-No. 5 Texas.

The Bulldogs were up 20 at half and coasted to an 86-74 win against Texas Saturday. C Drew Timme and freshman phenom C Chet Holmgren lead the nation’s best team. Timme had 37 in the victory.

As for Alcorn State, it has lost three in a row to start the season, including an 85-67 opening loss at Washington State Tuesday. The lack of early-season success won’t bode well for the Braves against the nation’s best team.

Passing is your only option. Gonzaga (-100000) is favored by too much.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to ALCORN STATE +38.5 (-105) as more a play on Gonzaga’s kindness. The Braves are the clearly inferior side, but the Bulldogs have been in this position many times.

Last season, the Bulldogs were head and shoulders above most of their competition, but they ended up winning by 40-plus points just once, having won five games in total by between 35-40. Those last few points on a team that’s still going at 100% are not easy.

Also, Alcorn lost its last two games by a combined 7 points, so while it is not good compared to Gonzaga, it is also going to be able to compete with its second unit.

This has blowout written all over it. There’s no question there. However, reaching 40 is no easy task. ‘Zaga won by 34 against Dixie State Tuesday, and this should have a similar result.

Over/Under

BET on the OVER 150.5 (-110) as Gonzaga should put up three digits of points in this one. ‘Zaga did a relatively similar thing with their schedule last season.

Knowing it needs to make up for weak conference opponents, it scheduled big-time games and left many of its blowouts for later in the schedule. ‘Zaga eclipsed 100 five times last season.

It topped 85 in its first two games, putting up 97 against Dixie State. As for Alcorn, it hit at least 58 in each of its first three games, notching 67 against its only Power 5 opponent.

While this should be a blowout, a hard-playing Braves team should be able to help ‘Zaga push the Over to hit.

TENNESSEE -16.5 (-108) is a good play on the number. The Vols thrashed the Skyhawks last time out, while the Bucs struggled in Boone against App State.

ETSU is going to have a ton of trouble early against the ranked Vols, especially due to the disparity in size down low. But Tennessee has tremendous guard play, too, and they can beat you a number of ways.

Over/Under

OVER 136.5 (-107) is the best play on the board in this matinee battle.

Both teams hit the Over in the opener, with Tennessee dropping 90 on UT-Martin. You can expect similar production here, as ETSU’s defense is not going to be able to slow the Vols down due to a lack of size in the paint.

The last time the Gators won outright against the Seminoles was 67-66 back on Nov. 29, 2013. This Florida State team is ranked and not about to let the rival Gators knock them off the tracks early.

Against the spread

FLORIDA STATE +1.5 (-112) is not quite as good of a play as the money line. Unless you are dead-set on Florida -1.5 (-108) winning this game by one point, play FSU on the money line.

Over/Under

OVER 144.5 (-112) is the lean here, as the Seminoles piled up over 100 points of offense in its opener against the Quakers. This FSU team will look to play up-tempo against Florida in Gainesville, trying to get off to a quick start.

The Over cashed in this meeting last season, and Florida State has gone for 81 or more points in four of the past five times these two teams have met.

Over/Under

OVER 150.5 (-115) is the lean, ever so slightly. While the Under connected in the opener for both teams, we could see a healthy amount of points in this matchup.

Texas could also get an infusion of offense from F Dylan Disu (knee), the Vanderbilt transfer, if he’s able to suit up after missing the opener. He could return after practicing this week.

The play is AIR FORCE -2.5 (-115), which is just a little cheaper than playing the money line. The Falcons won 38-21 in the most recent meeting in Fort Collins Nov. 16, 2019, and Air Force has won each of its last two appearances at Canvas Stadium by 17 points.

Over/Under

The UNDER 44.5 (-105) is the play here. The Under has cashed in six of the last seven road outings for the Falcons while going an impressive 15-3 in their last 18 as favorites. Air Force runs the triple option, and that runs the clock, which Under bettors enjoy.

Oregon -13.5 (-115) is going to win, and might even get it done by double digits. But the Ducks have had struggles against the Cougars over the years, going just 1-10 ATS in the previous 11 meetings, while failing to cover each of the past five at home against Wazzu.

Over/Under

The UNDER 57.5 (-110) is the lean in this one, hitting in six of the past seven games overall for Washington State. The Under is also 4-1 in the past five games on the road for the Cougars.

The Under is 4-1 in the past five for Oregon against teams with a winning record. While the Over has cashed on a regular basis in this series. The teams have been trending to the Under, and we’ll get another Under result here.

The Wolfpack has a pass-first attack, and with QB Carson Strong at the helm, it ranks third in the nation on passing yards (376.3 per game) and 129th in rushing yards (74.4). Strong has completed 70.5% of his passes.

The Aztecs are coming off a 17-10 win at Hawaii. Three of their last four games – all wins – have been decided by one score. San Diego State grinds out victories with a bottom-20 offense – and one that leans heavily on the rush and a top-10 defense. SDSU held Hawaii to 260 total yards last week; the Aztecs have held foes under 300 total yards five times this fall.

Nevada has won nine in a row ATS as an underdog. San Diego State has been November-exposed in recent years: the Aztecs are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games in weeks 10-13.

The Over has gone 3-1-1 in the last five Nevada-San Diego meetings.

WAKE FOREST (-130) is worth a look at home as they look to rebound after last week’s wild loss in Chapel Hill. NC State (+105) won last season’s meeting in Raleigh, 45-42, and this one could shape up as another big offensive showdown.

Against the spread

The lean is to WAKE FOREST -2.5 (-107), although there is always doubt with a team that has been playing terrible defense like the Demon Deacons. Wake has allowed 34 or more points in four of the past five games, including 56 or more in two of the previous three.

NC State +2.5 (-115) has posted a dismal 5-12 ATS mark in the previous 17 games on the road while going 3-8 ATS in the previous 11 as a road underdog.

Over/Under

The OVER 64.5 (-115) is the play in Wake games lately. The Over has connected in four of the past five games overall for the Deacs. QB Sam Hartman and Wake have posted 508.8 total yards per game to rank sixth in the country, while ranking second overall with 44.7 PPG.

The defense has been gashed for 435.9 total yards per game, checking in 105th, and Wake is particularly poor trying to stop the run. The Wolfpack D has been strong, but they allow 220.9 pass yards per outing, and Hartman will be able to take advantage of their back end.

The No. 11 Texas A&M Aggies (7-2, 4-2 SEC) and No. 12 Ole Miss Rebels (7-2, 3-2) are lined up for a Saturday battle between two seven-win SEC West teams. The contest at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss., is slated for a 7 p.m. ET start time. Below, we look at the Texas A&M vs. Ole Miss odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

Texas A&M trounced Auburn Saturday, outscoring the Tigers 20-3 while outgaining them, 409 yards to 226. The win marked the fourth in a row for A&M, which has now outgained foes by 150 yards or more in four games this season. With RB Isaiah Spiller leading the way, the Aggies’ ground game has cranked out 191.7 yards per game, which ranks fifth in the SEC.

The Rebels defeated Liberty, 27-14, in a Saturday non-conference affair in Oxford last week. They racked up 324 passing yards in running their home record to 5-0. Since last season, Ole Miss has won seven straight at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. At 524.1 yards per game, the Rebels offense ranks fourth in the nation.

Ole Miss is a slight lean. PASS on the money line and take advantage of the points in what figures as a pick ’em-type close game.

Against the spread

The Aggies have endured some injuries in the defensive backfield in the last month or so. It hasn’t really hurt them against the slate they’ve played. But the best passing team they faced in that stretch – Missouri – was a tougher game than what’s indicated on a schedule/results view. A&M benefited from 13 Mizzou penalties and a garbage-time touchdown.

Replace the Tigers with the high-octane, pace-race Rebels, and the Aggies injuries are more glaring. TAKE OLE MISS +2.5 (-110).

Over/Under

Under trends abound on both sides and in the series. Even high-scoring, fast-paced Ole Miss has hit the Under in four straight games. But look for a swing back the other way in this one.

The Rebels have, for injury and matchup reasons, slowed things down over recent weeks. But Mississippi will likely look to rev the engines back up in this spot. The Rebels will want to keep a deep A&M defense from leveraging its passing-down and running-down specialists.

When the Aggies have the ball, they should be able to get their playmakers in space to develop some explosive plays against a bottom-30 Ole Miss defense. Its a defense that ranks bottom-15 in stopping big plays.
