At that size, he fits the profile that we have seen among many of Tucker’s early commits, as he clearly has a recruiting philosophy that prioritizes size and athleticism.

Here is Thompson’s announcement via Twitter:

Aside from the Spartans, Thompson also has offers from:

  • Arizona State
  • Boston College
  • Michigan
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee

Michigan State Football has offered one of the top tight ends in the 2021 class in Seffner Christian Academy’s Michael Trigg. I made sure to emphasize the fact that this is the Football team offering Trigg because he is also a 3-star shooting guard according to Rivals.

In the football realm, Trigg is the No. 3 ranked tight end in the country according to the 247sports rankings and the No. 16 ranked player in Florida.

Trigg is currently projected to end up at Florida State according to the 247sports projections.

In addition to MSU and Florida State, Trigg also has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU and many more so this is another example of Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker throwing his hat in the ring for one of the biggest game-changers in the 2021 recruiting class.

MSU Football offers 6-foot-5, 300-pound 2022 OT Nick Williams

Michigan State has offered an unranked, but very large 2022 offensive tackle out of North Augusta, South Carolina.

If we ever post an article about an offensive lineman who has recently been offered by Michigan State Football head coach Mel Tucker, you can rest assured that guy is, at the bare minimum, going to be over 6’4″. Tucker has shown a commitment to adding length to his football team through recruitment and that goes doubly so for the offensive line. On Tuesday, the Spartans offered a 6’5″, 300-pound offensive tackle in Nick Williams out of Fox Creek Charter High School. Williams would be part of the 2022 recruiting class.

Williams is currently unranked on 247sports, but has some major offers from schools like Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Penn State and Tennessee.

At his size, you can tell why Tucker and offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic are interested in Williams.

Ranking every Michigan State Football 2021 recruiting graphic

We ranked all ten Michigan State Football recruiting graphics designed by the MSU social media department.

[jwplayer cwRwWfAA]s

The Michigan State Football social media team has really outdone themselves this offseason. Over the last few months, they have been peppering top recruits with a barrage of awesome recruiting graphics that, in my biased opinion, are among the coolest I have seen nation-wide.

While these graphics are pretty much all fire, we had a lot of fun ranking them:

Michigan State Football offers 2021 4-star Florida prospect Dink Jackson

The Spartans are offering Dink Jackson, 4-star athlete out of Eau Gallie High School.

[jwplayer jEyuKxXM]

Michigan State Football has taken another big swing in the recruiting front, this time offering 2021 4-star athlete Dink Jackson out of Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, Florida. Jackson is currently projected by 247sports to go to Florida State.

While Jackson is projected to go to his local school in Florida State, it is very important to note that Michigan State’s new Defensive Backs coach Harlon Barnett was the Defensive Coordinator for the Seminoles until Mel Tucker joined MSU as head coach.

Here is the offer announcement for Jackson, which was publicized by his high school football coach:

Jackson is listed as an “athlete” on 247sports, meaning that he is a versatile player who hasn’t locked into one role yet, although one of their affiliated scouts Andrew Ivins noted that he feels Jackson is best suited as an edge rusher. Jackson is the No. 33 ranked player in the state of Florida per 247sports.
