Saints are 4-point underdogs against the Lions at home in the Caesars Superdome

Saints are 4-point underdogs against the Lions at home in the Caesars Superdome

Oddsmakers are expecting a tight game from the New Orleans Saints (5-6) in Week 13; BetMGM Sportsbook has the Saints as four-point underdogs at home against the Detroit Lions (8-3), with a 47-point over/under suggesting a final line in the neighborhood of Detroit 25, New Orleans 21.

That would be the most points the Saints have scored in a game since the start of November, when they put up 24 points on the Chicago Bears in their last home game. They haven’t finished with a winning record at the Caesars Superdome in years, and they’re 2-2 right now. A win over the Lions would do a lot to rebuild the homefield advantage the Saints cultivated for more than a decade, and prove they belong in the NFC playoff picture.

So the Saints are four-point underdogs, with the spread at -110; that means a $100 wager would return $190.91 if they covered. The money line is +165 as kickoff draws closer, which would result in a $265 return on a $100 slip if the Saints pull off an upset. But that feels a little close even if the Lions look vulnerable after being knocked down by the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving.

LSU vs. Ole Miss: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet for Week 8

The Tigers open as a very slim underdog at home against the Rebels.

The Tigers bounced back from their first loss in SEC play against Tennessee in a big way on Saturday.

Playing on the road against the Florida Gators in the Swamp, LSU survived a shootout thanks to an electric game from quarterback [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag], who accounted for nearly 400 total yards and six touchdowns in a 45-35 win.

The road doesn’t get any easier for the Tigers this week. They return to the comfortable confines of Death Valley, but they welcome a top-10 opponent into Baton Rouge in Ole Miss. The Rebels are 7-0 on the year led by USC transfer quarterback Jaxon Dart, as well as a talented run game spearheaded by Quinshon Judkins and Zach Evans.

LSU didn’t fare well in its first shot against a top-10 team in the Vols, but their game against the No. 7 Rebels is essentially a pick-em matchup according to Vegas heading toward the 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on CBS.

Over/under changes, point spread remains static in LSU-Florida Wednesday betting update

Not much changed in the Wednesday odds update from BetMGM.

The small spread for Saturday night’s contest between LSU and Florida in Gainesville hasn’t seen any movement so far this week.

The Gators opened as a slight 2.5-point favorite in this one, which will take place under the lights at the Swamp. As of Wednesday, that line hadn’t changed. However, the over/under did increase to 51.5 for this game.

As the Tigers look to move to 3-1 in SEC play with another tricky road game, here’s where the betting odds, including money line, over/under and point spread sit as of noon CT on Wednesday, courtesy of BetMGM.

Team Spread Total – O/U Money Line
LSU +2.5
-110
O 51.5
-110
+115
Florida -2.5
-110
U 51.5

The Tigers have won three straight contests against UF dating back to 2019. This rivalry has produced some chaotic results in recent years, and this seems to be a fairly evenly-matched game. LSU will hope to extend that streak to four on Saturday night.

LSU vs. New Mexico: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet

Here are the latest odds and our prediction for the Tigers’ Week 4 tuneup against the Lobos.

Fresh off a huge win over Mississippi State in the SEC opener, LSU has what should be a tuneup on the slate this week before it resumes league play against Auburn on Oct. 1.

The Tigers welcome New Mexico to Death Valley this weekend in what will be the first-ever contest between the two programs. The Lobos are in the third season under coach Danny Gonzales, who hasn’t eclipsed three wins in a season in Albuquerque but is currently 2-1 on the year coming off a convincing 27-10 win against a UTEP team that made a bowl last year.

Still, the 2-1 Tigers will be a heavy favorite in Saturday night’s game, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CT in Tiger Stadium.

We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at BetMGM.

Alabama vs. Utah State: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet

The Alabama Crimson Tide plays the Utah State Aggies on Sep. 3, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game starts at 7:30 PM EDT and can be seen on SEC Network

Utah State enters the game 1-0 after defeating the UConn Huskies 31-20 in their week zero season opener. For Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide, this will be the start of their 2022 campaign as they have their sights set on a record nineteenth national title.

Royals’ short-handed win over the disappointing Blue Jays was the biggest upset of the season

Bettors didn’t see this one coming.

If there was ever a game for bettors to confidently make a moneyline pick, it was Thursday’s meeting between the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals.

Sure, the Blue Jays have largely underperformed this season — leading to the conveniently timed firing of manager Charlie Montoyo on Wednesday — but they’re still a playoff contender. The Royals, meanwhile, are a bottom-five team that had to put 10 players on the restricted list for the series in Toronto because they weren’t vaccinated.

It’s safe to say the Jays were heavy favorites. In fact, they were the biggest moneyline favorites in the majors this season at -400. So, of course, they went out and lost 3-1.

If you were one of the very few bettors to actually take the Royals in Thursday’s game — and I mean one of the very few bettors — congratulations. But even after their improbable win, don’t expect much more bets in the series to come in on KC.

The Blue Jays are again favored by 2.5 runs for Friday’s game and their moneyline odds are -360 at Tipico Sportsbook, with +270 on KC.

Updated BetMGM betting odds for Alabama vs. LSU

Alabama will face off against LSU on the road and will be the heavi favorites according to oddsmakers at BetMGM.

The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide will face off against an unranked LSU on the road for another ‘night game in Death Valley.’ However, this year’s contest is not as highly anticipated as they usually are.

Alabama being the top team in the nation, as well as the only undefeated team in the SEC, seems high and above the reigning National Champions, who are 3-4 this season.

Oddsmakers at BetMGM are also predicting a healthy win for Alabama over the Tigers.

Chiefs open as slight favorites over Buccaneers in Week 12

The Kansas City Chiefs are road favorites as they head to Tampa Bay.

[jwplayer wzHcKkEY-ThvAeFxT]

The Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) have opened as slight favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4) in Week 12.

BetMGM’s opening betting lines for Week 12 have been posted and for the second consecutive week, the Chiefs are favored on the road. The Buccaneers just suffered a primetime loss to the Los Angeles Rams on “Monday Night Football.” Meanwhile, Kansas City is coming off a thrilling “Sunday Night Football” win over their division rivals.

At BetMGM, the Chiefs are currently listed as 3.5-point favorites over the Bucs. The current money line is at -186 for Kansas City and +155 for Tampa Bay. The over/under point total is set at 56.5 points. The Chiefs have an implied win probability of 65% in this matchup.

There are questions about both of these teams heading into this afternoon game at Raymond James Stadium. Tom Brady threw an uncharacteristic game-ending interception in Week 11. It left the team frustrated and heartbroken heading into a short week against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Despite winning their game in Week 11, everything wasn’t all sunshine and roses for the Chiefs either. Their defense showed serious signs of regression. They struggled to get pressure and defend the pass, with Derek Carr tossing a 75% completion percentage for 275 yards and three scores.

Both teams also seem to have some injury questions heading into the game. WR Sammy Watkins is expected to make his return this week for Kansas City, but it remains to be seen if he will. LT Donovan Smith suffered an ankle injury on the first snap of Tampa Bay’s game in Week 11. He returned to the game, but it was clearly bothering him during the game. CB Jamel Dean also suffered a concussion during the game.
